a note to our fandom 😇

so thanks to enlightened putting a poll, some questions that many of us were answered -- what on earth happened to the fandom?! while birdie fans are a different lot, at least we have a good understanding of what is going on in IF.

we do have 3 teams when it comes to the separation arc -- team aryan, team imlie, team arylie.

we probably have some silent teams like team CVs, team no one, team timepass 😂

based on the votes from yesterday -- it is majority team aryan (64%). team arylie follows with 28% while team imlie has 7%

so this isn't our dhamaka resort politics and people are not going to be switching camps for the time period. 😁 it is important to understand that it is more than characters and arcs that are driving these camps. there are worldviews, life experiences and personalities that are determining why someone is on one team.

there are various points where people have different perspectives: accountability vs intent, individualism (missions) vs group/family harmony, choices vs love, views on romance, family, marriage, relationships, individual growth.

all these are strongly held views/perspectives formed by our personalities and life experiences. these aren't black or white issues and neither are they something that people can be persuaded on. after all, we don't really know much beyond our display names (DP). there is a life, a face, experiences that cannot be put into words behind each of our tags that form our perspectives and why we relate to a certain character or arc in a particular fashion.

so how do we make this a fun forum for us all instead of a bloodbath of different camps?

what we can do is have rich fruitful discussions and learn the context of why someone is leaning a certain way. if you are getting frustrated during your chat, ask them for clarity on what is driving their perspective. if you have strong (negative) view on something, take a sentence or two to explain your context to your view. this will add perspective.

while it isn't necessary that we all get on the same page, it can be educational as well as fun to understand that there are many different views and expectations when it comes to romance, marriage, family, relationships and personal growth. none of us are going to have quite the same view. but thats what makes it fun because in a forum, we have the freedom to write essays. 🤣🤣🤣

our essay writing freedom means we have the fun of exchanging views in length and getting to see another's perspective on the same issue. while we don't have to agree, we can have fun and learn that there are lots of lenses to view the same situation and characters as well. it can be entertaining to debate when we are willing to accomodate each other's perspectives in a respectful way.

we can also entertain ourselves by collectively hating the CVs when they throw nonsense at us. 🤣🤣

CVs may throw a googly and have the separation arc done in weeks 😂 or it can stretch for months! 😆 it all depends. so lets hold on to our seats and have fun eh?

Yaayyy fun time... I guess it's best to stay Neutral though I am team Aryan. I tried to give a Chance to Imlie, she was overconfident so lost it. But since it's going googly I will wait to see how it unfolds. Anyway tell me what looks strange?

Definitely, it's good to read different opinions and point of view, but atm the negativity has surpassed the opinions.

I understand both leads and no, that doesn't mean i like what any of them did.

Whether it's imlie's gudiya jaap or Aryan's chiku jaap. Both are wrong but both are understandable.

I don't want to defend either, and don't want to bash either against other.

I am wondering what kind of place is PD that it would require a full time journalist. 🤣

even city desk only has few reporters and we are talking huge metros with millions of people. 🤣🤣

Im team Arylie so that means I get to defend both and bash them both.

At the end of the day I love SuMaan together and character wise I love Aryan so no matter what I want Arylie together

having been on different forums for dramas, I will encourage you that it is possible to get through the negativity if we are willing to take a step back and say -- okay what is the context to your view. it has to be a conscious step and we are willing to accomdate each other's camp.

when we do, it can actually be some of the most memorable and fun forum experience. I will say personally that I have learned an enormous deal through the discussions. it all depends on our fellow members. we need to say -- okay lets not agree but lets hear each other out respectfully. then no one would get so rattled.

right now, the grenade CVs threw on us means all our underlying frustrations over the story and tracks came out and peaked. we had been holding back our tongue (I certainly have) and we just had to let off steam at how stupid the arcs were. like I said, we can bond together over by roasting the CVs. 🤣🤣

P.S -- does this green colour mean anything? I am kind of clueless how this forum works in terms of levels.

Good one.. totally agree with u ..reason i decoded to stop sepnding time on tt..thw team wars sucks.. blame game n thats affecting trp too as teams r divided n maybe many silent viewers hu keeping expectations with certain ckts stopped watching or watching n thats affecting trp..i like India forum even tday as atleast we arent judged , we cn all hv healthy discussions ... i didnt see yest epi as it was too depeessing for me n unrealistic but im active these days on forum wen i usually am a silent reader.. atleast we get genuine updates frm here.

Yes agree. It's important to respect the opinions and agree to disagree. Or stay away, I'm just staying away except tags, so thanks for tagging me in discussions 😊

The colour change doesn't mean much, except you have a larger inbox and can have more private messages and looks good (to me 🤭)
