ASR is the reason I got into the show. I don't know if this is intentional but I connect more with his brand of loving rather than hers. Hers seems more about finding a target to channel her obsessive need to be needed rather than forming a loving relationship with another human.

Yes, both were wrong and right about the stuff leading up to the sepation but I also think the writers are failing to show her suffering post-leap like the way they are doing with Aryan. Yes, its relatively healthy and realistic what Imlie is doing but I watch ITV for "pheelings". And I am not feeling her devastation the way I am feelings his. He is hard to watch. I am hoping the writers explore her feelings in the upcoming episodes. Oh and this time she has to do the running. Then their partnership will become 50-50.

Until then I'm team Aryan but the only people I will bash are the writers.

P.S - Obligatory a million noes to Aryan-Malini. For all her faults, Aryan belongs with Imlie. No one else.

Though I joined because of Aryan I am siding with both because just as Sur said I can praise and bash both of them.

Because it's Arylie I love them. Because it's Arylie I can stay put even if CV's go for nonsense spree. So for me they will be always 50-50 in whatever they do. Whether it's wrong or right.

wasra -- one reaon I thought of writing this post is I figured it might have been overwhelming for many this sudden turn in fandom. for quite a while, we have been having a blast and this forum before was rather fun.

I think part of the reason we all went a bit cuckoo because we just had one too many stupid tracks. so much so that we couldn't relate to what was going on. this has been going for quite a while. the disappointment and frustration was basically at saturation point.

I don't usually yell at the tv when I am watching but I was so irritated that I was yelling at some scenes as well as laughing in others (imlie and her dhobi bag ). so the separtion track was in a long line of madness and we all started to vent and rant a bit. it just so happened that we all ended up ranting and venting at the same time. so utter chaos. 😅

but yea, one reason I am positive is that I have seen this happen with other fandoms. it is possible to get back into a happy space. we just need to put in a little effort to agree to disagree; if we understand that different worldviews means we will relate to characters from different angles, then we will be okay.

But I'm not team arylie anymore. I don't think imlie will be shown any different after separation. I believe she's not a lover or partner material. Plus she doesn't deserve Aryan at all.

I'm hoping Aryan moves on. And imlie can do what ever she wants cause I don't care about her😆

absolutely. it’s always been so much fun here engaging in analyses with each other and getting to hear different perspectives. we teach each other some things, we learn some things. based on my awful experience with other forums and platforms (read Twitter), i can say the mutual respect and amiability on this forum is commendable. the only thing i’d really appreciate everyone keeping in mind is to not get overly carried away with the bashing and say harsh/distasteful things that you’d probably find inappropriate to say to/about a real person in real life. sure, this is a fictional show about fictional people. but the views and opinions being presented are very much real, coming from real people like you and i. i get that we can sometimes get carried away when we’re vibing and having fun (normal and happens to all of us), but let’s also keep our own decorum in mind at the same time.

Thank you for your post. I agree with Pooja, negativity has surpassed opinions ATM.

I honestly don't know how the TV industry and trp works but kind of understand that it's not solely creatives piece of work, influence of channel, trp, actors all effects the story telling. Just like us gets low at time, I understand the other side is also of human beings. It's a team work, once the story telling is intervened, it's hard on them, equally for actors to portray for something they don't connect to. Please do understand the actors are outstanding, no complaints there. Also they are trying serve different type of audience, young, old, urban, international so on, on top a lot depends on trp & other factors too. It can't always satisfy us and all we are trying to do is analys together to understand through each other's perspective. To me, I grow through this process. A lot of things we don't understand if not seen through someone else's eyes, and we have a lot of amazing wise writers here in this forum who sometimes beautifully translate scenes maybe even the creatives haven't intended.

Other thing I don't understand is, if characters aren't flawed, how does the story moves forward? Some are real and some aren't. It's a fantasy world. Atleast that's how I see it, to tune into to turn off my head space from day to day Life.

Coming to current story line, leap has just happened, we need to give time for story to develop. WR to character's flaws, isn't it easier to fault when we see things from third person"s view or detached from the issue itself than us being in that situation ourselves? it gives feast for our forum writers to beautifully analysis it.

I would love to see Imilie's progression/redemption, although I am not really sure if that will be served.

so thanks to enlightened putting a poll, some questions that many of us were answered -- what on earth happened to the fandom?! while birdie fans are a different lot, at least we have a good understanding of what is going on in IF.

we do have 3 teams when it comes to the separation arc -- team aryan, team imlie, team arylie.

we probably have some silent teams like team CVs, team no one, team timepass 😂

based on the votes from yesterday -- it is majority team aryan (64%). team arylie follows with 28% while team imlie has 7%

so this isn't our dhamaka resort politics and people are not going to be switching camps for the time period. 😁 it is important to understand that it is more than characters and arcs that are driving these camps. there are worldviews, life experiences and personalities that are determining why someone is on one team.

there are various points where people have different perspectives: accountability vs intent, individualism (missions) vs group/family harmony, choices vs love, views on romance, family, marriage, relationships, individual growth.

all these are strongly held views/perspectives formed by our personalities and life experiences. these aren't black or white issues and neither are they something that people can be persuaded on. after all, we don't really know much beyond our display names (DP). there is a life, a face, experiences that cannot be put into words behind each of our tags that form our perspectives and why we relate to a certain character or arc in a particular fashion.

so how do we make this a fun forum for us all instead of a bloodbath of different camps?

what we can do is have rich fruitful discussions and learn the context of why someone is leaning a certain way. if you are getting frustrated during your chat, ask them for clarity on what is driving their perspective. if you have strong (negative) view on something, take a sentence or two to explain your context to your view. this will add perspective.

while it isn't necessary that we all get on the same page, it can be educational as well as fun to understand that there are many different views and expectations when it comes to romance, marriage, family, relationships and personal growth. none of us are going to have quite the same view. but thats what makes it fun because in a forum, we have the freedom to write essays. 🤣🤣🤣

our essay writing freedom means we have the fun of exchanging views in length and getting to see another's perspective on the same issue. while we don't have to agree, we can have fun and learn that there are lots of lenses to view the same situation and characters as well. it can be entertaining to debate when we are willing to accomodate each other's perspectives in a respectful way.

we can also entertain ourselves by collectively hating the CVs when they throw nonsense at us. 🤣🤣

CVs may throw a googly and have the separation arc done in weeks 😂 or it can stretch for months! 😆 it all depends. so lets hold on to our seats and have fun eh?

kisi bhi track ke shuru hone se pehle hi we form opinions like right away .. we dont wait for the plot to develop ., we hv our preformed notions ki agr track A dikhaya toh ye hona chaiye .. agr track B dikhaya to it has to hasss to be like I envision it .. if not then its shitty .. my point of virw is the correct one and that is what they should show…ckts “butcher” ho gae , “essence” lost so on n so forth 🤷‍♀️ .. ckt development bhi chahte hain , but koi mere fav ckt ko zara sa deviate bhi na kre, doesn’t matter if its to show them as normal human beings …😄

we r a largely impatient lot … but in all fairness,i guess most of the times that comes from our interest/love fir the show ..
Let the narration come through .. give the team the time n understanding to tell the story the way they want to .. u ‘ll like some narrative , u ll dislike some 🤷‍♀️

and most importantly.. watch it for fun and only fun .. rant a little here n there ,if u must ( i know i hv done that 😬) .. but this is all just Entertainment.. nothing more, nothing less 🤷‍♀️.. itta kya dil pe lena yaar 😀

As a pair I really like the chemistry of arylie but when it comes to character most of the times I am only able to connect with Aryan. So I am team Aryan but would like to know other perspectives when it's presented with mutual respect. It's okay to have different perspective because as you said what we are today is completely dependent on what we went through in our past, our struggles, our choices, our priorities at the end how we see each situation and react in our life. Let's agree to disagree respectfully when we are not in same page. As simple as that. ❤️

Coming to RWSP, they have awesome synchronisation and sizzling chemistry. Whether they are friends or partners, what ever it may be, I really hope they stay the way they are always. There is a different kind of warmth between them which truly adorable. His protective side for her and the way she treats him like her personal teddy bear is really cute and instantly brings a smile on viewers face. ❤️🧿
