Well this isn't any post against jyoti, but let me take you to a story where I know a jyoti myself not the current one but the past. And yes in the cover of friend I ain't telling my story as my crush is still single though he rejected me and still informs before shifting to different states for work.

So this girl was my classmate and so her bestie the guy a Big playboi dated innumerous numbers of girls but though she kept on hinting she likes him he was ignorant. Just like Aryan took many girls to dates, used his charm but called Jyo as his friend zone girl who was most near to him as others used to lose chances over 1 date but never seen her in different lights.

For me being a viewer I immediately saw my friend in jyo. She used to help him in his studies, loved him and cared for him and even bandages for him every time he gets hurt, and the biggest lie of life she lived was praying for him before her own self. Which is seen in Jyo too with praying for Universe.

What went wrong? For me the marriage picture🤣 Arylie shouldn't have allowed media to post them. That might where jyo remembered about Aryan. But I don't understand the need of making a past friend villain, they actually lost a viewer.

As our college finished she hoped he would miss her and at least try to contact her afterall they were inseparable best friends in college. She did his lab copy to everything but the guy kept contact with guys whom he wouldn't used to interact but never contacted her. She cried like anything one night when we girls were grp chatting. I said her watch Imlie you may like Aryan, (I said coz he was the serious type in that phase of serial) she started watching and got addicted to Arylie, hated Aditya because Malini was clg friend and she believed he made Malini bad... Basically saw herself in Malini and then things took a turn and Jyo entered and that 1st scene with awards was something triggered her. Aryan's funky character was like our classmate who was her best friend. She panicked and said why should girls like me are mostly portrayed as villains in stories. Just why they show us obsessed when we give our college life dedicated to such guys who are friendliest from outside but never value us.

I was like jyo is just a plot point, yep she is but for her she saw herself in jyo. She feared she will be obsessed one day too if our classmate returns back to her life, bad luck both got job in TCS but he is right now in different city.

So it's a very common troupe about the girls having one sided love for guys in last which is introduced as a villain later

My question is to my other friends in the forum... Should such troupe be included as many people face rejections in life and when they see such characters only reduced to some psycho obsessed lovers they feel like their emotions exploited even in fiction.

There are many Jyos in the world should they be JYO JYOTI JALAN SWAHA in fiction only for showing pure love in main leads and others love are vile?

Also she left watching Imlie as more they will make Jyo evil she will feel like someone like her is getting exploited for the main leads and end up hating Aryan.

I am in though for my Love(obsession) towards Fahmy🤣

Edit: It's not about Jyo's intention that knocks my friend off it's more of the character representation of any past person who likes one of the leads in the past is ought to be a negative character. This is just beyond Imlie and it's almost a plot device of almost most fictions or serials or dramas. Why can't they show a past person who genuinely supports the lead because he/she loved/loves them or even moved on and want to support the leads. Such positive character representation isn't shown anywhere

main leads love, others are not. love is love yaar .but it all matters when intentions are involved. like your friend, I have a person in my life. we are not friend-zoned we share our feeling but at the end of the day, we left still talking as friends I wish him all luck and stay safe never think that he should leave his wife and come back to me. now what jo is doing is wrong. about your friend she fell for him but may b that's never seen her like that if he did he would miss her. girls always logging love and support .never think logically its purely my opinion not hurt. when you love someone think about him make happy vice-versa

That's why I clearly said the past jyo not the current one, but she felt like deterioration of the character on the base of a history like she had is not limited to this serial. In most serials or fictions they make the one who is longing as the villain which makes her vulnerable to the character of jyo who is a villain evil but the development to that stage through the stage which she passed

Her question is why one sided love is always turn to someone in fiction to a negative character who tries to harm the main leads love. She also knows Jyo is a negative character but the reason why she is a negative character can't be digested by my friend.

Most of the time in fiction main leads love is glorified but others are shown obsessed, psycho or a fuel to light up main leads love. It's something prevalent in the world of fictions.

In reality the thing that differs is every one is the protagonist of their own story.

But such representations make people like my friend more vulnerable when they know they need to see the guy everyday in office or in some place at least.

It depends on feeling dear, if someone didn’t have romantic feelings for other person we can’t do anything, and it depends on intention of a person like I can justify malini to some extension not on forced physical relation she make by intoxicating Aditya and other things but akt was commented to her, but in Aryan and jo case Aryan was clear she is friend and will remain friend but jo is delusional, if Aryan was bachelor or if he was not happy in his marriage life on those situations jo can do something not plotting to take someone life and other bullsh*t but yeh she could try to persuade him. It is my opinion

One sided love can lead to obsession only if there is continuity in communication or at least being seen, read, visible to each other.

Imlie is just a fiction where the makers have to bring in strong oppositions between various characters to keep the story running.

The Director had clearly informed in one of June 2021 interview that the moment Malini is exposed... story will end faster then anticipated. So he has this challenge of actors moving out of show, new actors coming in... the entire troupe Tripathi vanishing and at same time try to bring in some make-belief factor. He cannot seperate Arylie least fans get annoyed.. He needs to however keep bringing that resistive forces. The writers have to bring in new villains. They tried with buffonary villain (Kaderkhan+Shaktikapoor) type in Doll + Blue... but failed... The supposed villain Aryan began Hero and then Ms Jyo emerged... again here too she looks very vulnerable to even look like a vamp... so they had to make Narmada the main villain.. and Narmada has good acting talents to bring those nuances. Max they can show Jyo returning back to mental asylum etc and giving her sympathy points from viewers.

Her obsession looks too funny as it never happens if folks are seperated for ages. Einstein law of relativity works and many get over past with time.

In cases like Imlie.. she can even get fully brainwashed, forget her past and start afresh as shown in show... The writers have been careful to not mention Tripathi ever in the show. Imlie has to only talk of Rathore family... unfortunately the show looks disjointed.. with lost continuity.

Beautiful post and thanks for opening this to discuss. You are spot on...During my college days also I had many friends and few close both girls and guys. There was no topic of love or anything. all married and settled, but most recently a year back when we all had met, there we two of my friends who thought how and why they didn't choose each other as life partners. They were always so compatible with each other. Its sudden realization of feelings..

They just gushed about it, neither could they tell anyone. but we keep trolling them now..but they continue to be friends, dont hold grudges or agendas...life goes on..happy with their respective soul mates.

Bottomline, yes, female friends turned vamps is 99% in theory and ITV only.
