What a beautifully written post! Never has such an impactful performance been given and Fahmaan brought tears to my eyes with his intensity in defending her. How lucky you are to have a grandfather that cared, defended and mentored you at such a vulnerable time in your life.

I know I can’t speak for others and having become so attached to ASR in such a short period of time seems ridiculous but how often do you watch a scene of his and then can relate and apply his advice to your own life?! I constantly find myself not caring as much what others think because I have learned that if I value myself above all others, people will as well.

The writers have given us a gem of a character and Fahmaan lives and breathes as ASR. I was recently watching the episode where he’s a jerk to her after she has a fever and my sister was watching and comments, “Why does he hate women so much? Is he a misogynist ? ” Literally I blurted out, “There is NO way this man could ever be anything less than a feminist. It feels like he exists only to support Imlie in all her endeavors.” Never has a character been written that could actually change how a generation thinks.

Thank you Princess ji. I am glad to get this opportunity to gloat about my grand father🤗. He was 2 generations before me, but his thought process used to be 5 generations ahead ❤️.

ASRs come in all shapes and forms, mine is not packaged in a handsome Fahmaan, but an older, gentle soul who always knew the right thing to say and the right thing to do😃

Imlie's dialogues today did trigger many of us.

But also Aryan, as he was able to calm imlie, his words worked to calm audience as well.

Thanks Pooja. Yes, set backs are necessary for us to get a reality check and course correct👍🏼 But after that they should become a fabric of our life than an identity that we are dreadful human beings🤗 This is my take away from what I have seen so far.

But, never have I expected to be impacted by a TV character as much as I did yesterday. I can't take a girl's grief, so I haven't watched Imlie's grief so far except her broken down face yesterday which lit up in ASR's embrace😭 I just could not handle it😭 All good now😎

I also remember my difficult 4 years of med school where certain situations broke me mentally and I was so low in confidence. His each and every dialogue reasonates with you and sometimes gives you strength to move forward and the way Fahmaan delivers is chef's kiss. Today what he said is what each one of us whats to hear at some stage in life.

He is not just mentoring Imlie but also many of us when we have our weak moments.

Sheen 🤗, so true. This character has so many sensible facets that we have high expectations of him. I hope all of your issues resolved and are as confident now as an ASR would be👍🏼Truly the writer who is writing ASR needs to be commended for his/her thoughts and a beautiful mind⭐️

Thank you, my friend❤️ for your kind words. Yes, we consider ourselves very, very fortunate to have had him in our lives.

@bold..... I agree with this whole heartedly. You are truly what you think you are. At the end of the day, if you can't market yourself, no one will👏 I don't mean market as in selling yourself but perception-wise.

@italics bold.... when was this my friend? Is it the first few episodes when she faints in the car with fever? I felt that was just to jolt us all to make us sit upright and notice this unusual character

I don't believe as much in feminism as much as I do in gender equality and gender neutrality. We may be talking about the same thing, but different semantics. 👍🏼I loved how he called her self victimizational mind set, so many times. Especially when he talks about doing your duty👍🏼, the employee who has a sick child at home, still takes care of their work and something about a security guard doing their job despite his problems . How true na? Nobody needs to do heroic stunts to be a hero, if we fulfil our responsibilities poore shiddat se, we are all heroes in our own right👍🏼

Enough gyaan ho gaya😃 I will stop now😊

Aryan Singh Rathore is the way a man should be. It is hard to find in real life, but such people do exist, but in absolutely less percentage. You will find one, if you are lucky. I am lucky to have two of them. one is my father and one is my husband. I can relate to many of behaviour of ASR with them. unfortunately, we have very few Aryan in real world. I wonder, is it Aryan portrayed by FK is a blessing or vice versa. whatever it is, I am too happy to have creative writers who wrote this ckt, for writing something, you have to think about it and the writer could think the way Aryan is. I am happy we have dedicated director and the actor, who is ruling millions of hearts with such perfect performance.
