Farewell Manasvi Vasisht aka Aditya Kumar Tripathi

So finally it got confirmed.. From past many days the news was making rounds around the corner that Manasvi Vashist is quitting the show.. But today his Insta post confirmed the same... He is quitting the show while bidding farewell to the character Aditya Kumar Tripathi...

Well I am not sure how to react on this news.. Like I never liked the character of Aditya Kumar Tripathi but I never had any issue with the Actor.. Honestly I had lots of expectations with MV when he first entered the show even though I never saw any of his previous shows and I am saying this with all my heart that his entry scene actually impressed me a lot and I was like this Damn! man is something

I really thought that he could prove as a game changer for this character.. Apart from that there were couple of scenes as well that was actually impressive

• The Hospital scene where his smirk could be seen when he was successful in proving Aryan wrong in Imlie's eyes.
• The one where he stumbled with lamp when Imlie announces herself as Aryan's wife.
• The one with all the wall photos fiasco during AryLie's engagement.

But unfortunately these scenes were not enough to bring the life or a new shade to the character Aditya Kumar Tripathi. I have said this before as well that it is very difficult to enter the show in the mid and prove as a game changer.. Many have tried in the past and many have failed..

It depends on many factors - Actor, character, story etc etc

MV could have brought lots of shades to Aditya's character as I expected but Alas he failed due to which the character failed to attract the much needed audience.

But even after all that the news of MV leaving the show is quite a shocker to me as no matter how much SS he had in the show, but him leaving will leave a kind of void in the show.

But like every other thing comes to an end, this character too and so is the journey of the actor.. But show must go on and life has to move on

So in the end I can only say that I wish all the best to Manasvi Vasisht for his future.. I hope he gets a show where he can actually use his potential and talent to the full extent keeping the trust of his followers alive... And Trust me I am saying this with all my heart...

You will be missed... Character of Aditya Kumar Tripathi will be missed... and So will be Serious Patrakaar

If the character is left open to another entry, I sure hope the role goes to a very strong actor this time round!

The character has a lot of shades and can be very interesting if he's actually well written and portrayed by a season actor who can bring Adi's many complexities to the table.

Though he was also nice in that kicking imlie out of the T house scene. N crying in Aparna's lap

I hope MV has some projects in his kitty, irrespective of my opinion about what he is lacking to shine in this field. The reach StarPlus has, as a channel, no other channel can compete with them and secondly, pulling horns with a reputed PH....I feel it was not a good decision on his part to say no to playing a negative character, if that's why he decided to quit. Rest, he knows what's best for him. If he is that confident of himself, I will say, let time prove it. That's all. 😊
