So did you just ignore the lyrics and concentrated on the beat only? Jaaniya and the so called heartbeat bgm are well and good but they do not lyrically spell out what Aryan and Imlie were meant to be feeling at that moment. And since feelings were being experienced from both sides it needed to be a male and female duet which this one is. At present Aryan And Imlie are experiencing what can summarily be described as love. Everything points to it but due to whatever reason neither one has been able to express it. This song encapsulates all those feelings in the lyrics.

Lyrics r apt 👍🏼 but I did'nt like d song 20% becoz it was used as bgm for arylie....and rest Just as a song I did'nt like it😆

yaar imagine this, regardless of the absurdities since the last 2 episodes. the scene was serious. the bomb crisis averted. they come close to losing each other. the serious new version of Janiyaa comes on. and then there is this music that replaces it with a govinda style dhinga chica dhinga chica style song comes on with no warning no breaks, so that they can break into some mithun moves. that's what it felt like to me. a bit exaggerated of course. but you get the meaning.

the lyrics might be apt but the music was so out of place it was jarring and to be honest i lost connection with the scene because of it.
