barabari aur pehchaan
have so many thoughts about what aru said to tammy here. on the surface level one can assume that he's talking about their appearance - now that tammy is decked in jewels and fancy clothing she's now of equal status to aru. but I don't think that's the case.

I believe this is intended to be understood in terms of inner power & strength. aryan has never taken pride in clothing or his appearance before; rather it has always been about the mettle of his character, his self-respect, his resilience etc. when he says this line to tammy, it's with the same recognition & respect that he has for himself. he sees the raw power within her & in that they are equals.

my biggest problem with this is the word "yehi". for me it connotates to "this is it" which is not true. being aru's wife is merely one part of her identity, not all-encompassing. another way I interpreted these lines is that this identity - of being aru's wife - is something that she can always fall back on whenever she's weak or needs to gain strength. it's the same source of strength she gains from being her amma & dadda's daughter or imlie from pagdandiya. aryan singh rathore ki patni is another facet of her being that is as undeniable, and irreplaceable as the former three. in a way, this is aru promising tammy of lifelong companionship and support if she's willing to accept it.
