Yep, he was parallel lead/ fourth angle with malini.

When malini came to know that adi imlie were married, she went pagdandiya to dig about imlie, she came to know imlie is her half sister and her father deceived meethi. So she decided to get imlie all her rights as daughter/wife.

She lied to everyone saying she's having affair with KC (made up name) and wants divorce from adi.

Later meets kc accidentally who's a lawyer, who helps them with satyakam case, she involved him in her lie, he reluctantly agreed, later started to fall for her.

But when he came to propose her (maybe for a date) he heard her say she will never get over adi, so her left.

Later he helped imlie in molestation case against malini and put Anu chaturvedi behind bars on same case.

this makes me wanna watch some of the initial episodes but aru ke bina kaise dekhun 🤧
