im wondering if when malini comes back they'll reincorporate him into the story/give her a new husband because lbr, malini is whack but if she genuinely apologized and repented for her sins she could move on like in the original (though malini was waaay more wild than her bengali counterpart)

but if they do, don't give her a third husband than kill her, that's ridiculous

Not gonna lie but KC deserves better than a rapist and an attempted murderer amongst other things, she can attempt to repent but she's irredeemable as far as I'm concerned and doesn't deserve another chance at all.

She's just not whack, she's a full on criminal, I'd rather KC remain invisible/stay gone.

I also liked KC a lot. I started watching the show when he was introduced. I really don't know why his character was cut short. His and Malini's pairing would have been so good. That way they wouldn't have to turn Malini negative.

If you look at the story progression at that time, it was going great. Malini went to Pagdandia and met Meethi. She was so sympathetic and understanding towards the plight of Meethi and Imlie. Those were some really nice episodes in this show. I think KC was introduced after Malini came back from Pagdandia. She appointed KC to fight the case for Satyakaam. She also asked him to act as her boyfriend to convince Imlie about her being in a relationship.

Imlie and KC's interaction was also nice and funny.

I might be wrong as I didn't watch the show continuously but two changes in the shows were quite abrupt ( more like 180 degree shift) :

1) Aditya falling in love with Imlie.

2) Malini turning negative.

His feelings didn't cloud his judgement and like Imlie, he saw it as an opportunity to correct Malini and return her to her kind avatar. I found them much better than Adini.

Can't believe the team let it go to waste. Would love to see KCs comeback his dialogues were AMAZING

I love how the Imlie CVs have so much potential always and they still choose violence against viewers always....smh
