Most favourite would be DP signing, the way he followed, his presence in sorry imlie scene and his rage at adi's words, handing over the pen. Finally breaking her fall. It's a beauty. ❤️

I have seen it on and off....but my favourite episode is when Adi insult And mistrust her and she remove her sindoor and mangalsutra and went away from home.... Aryan entry episode I think....and 2nd jab Adi ne Imlie ka insult kiya photoshoot pe or Imlie ne jawab diya or Aryan ne ek dailouge main AC,MC or Adi ki bajai o wala....Ok i am just curious... What are you guys' favorite episode of imlie (from epi 1 to now almost 400)??
This is from the last thread but I needed to say yass! I loved Pride and Prejudice, and for for some of those very reasons. The cinematography is so good with Imlie. Considering their tight schedules and sometimes choppy editing, some of the scenes are still so magical. Their use of light and colour is brilliant. The direction is as much a part of the story telling and I love that this show is like Geet in that way.Originally posted by: Deltablues

I really appreciate that his team's direction style has changed from the choppy, slapstick direction à la Ishqbaaz with constant breakage of the third wall to the more subtle Gul style of narration circa Geet and IPK Even the ridiculous action sequence with Chandlal blowing up was so easy on the eyes with the blue-green colour scheme. It was so subtly done even when the script was so illogical.
Like Wednesday's Arylie scene was so so so significant with Aru lashing out at Imlie's obtuseness, but the camera work was so seamless with the master focusing in through the dimly lit windows. More yellow light for Arylie scenes and less yellow foundation on Aru. The mirror work in Tuesday's scene was such a clever narration technique. They are drawing inspiration from Joe Wright romances a lot— at least I feel so. Rahul is such a great director. ♥️
Their editing is still so miss-and-hit but they work on such tight schedules.

Absolutely adore the every scene in PD where he was her shock absorber. The first time when he locked eyes with Meethi and shied away so that she doesn't guage his feelings.

Lately, I have been going back to the window scene where they hatch the plan to fake a relationship.
Adding: Because this deserves an essay, the rain scene before the anniversary where they inadvertently share an intimate moment for the first time, the aniversary rain-bridge scenes and how they are constrasted with a dark palette in the day to the warm palette in bridge scene
I absolutely effing loved the mythological sex scene because Aru in black shirt is my kryptonite.

see I think the scenes were messed up a little there for continuity sake it wasn’t so clear , they wanted Malini to believe Aryan has romantic / personal interest in Imli ( since almost everyone is accusing of it and thinks it’s true , it was originally started by Malini too to instigate Aditya / Tripathi gang) that way she decides to befriend him like he mentions she has tried before. And in this pretext somehow down the road manage to record / gather proof against her while she thinks Aryan is on her side . IMO the CEO for a day that goes wrong he give her earful for , if you see the ending of the previous episode they show Malini lurking in the corner, listening and smirking. Followed by the breakfast scene where they show Aryan is clearly miffed at the point that Imli has made AKT’s favorite poori bhaji and storms off - you can even hear her/Malini’s internal monologue- it looks like he is interested in her/Imli …. To me this was the “hawa deneka padi” Imli was referring to Aryan to show his interest in her to Malini , baaki sabkuch Malini didi karegi ,just like she thinks happens ….I'm not talking about today's episode. The scenes looked disjointed and you can even take them as stand alones / give different meaning … but to me this made more sense to all that followed later …. Unless I am totally wrong… I am most of the time in my own Lala land anyways .🤣🤣
Thank you, I get it now. So only Aryan was supposed to show he was interested, it wasn't meant to be both Imlie and Aryan showing interest in each other.
