Secondly, I think PD track added a lot to the storyline. It showed a crescendo to Imlie's BS-ing and it's eventual death. Imagine going completely untethered for a man and then have him save your life only for him to slūtshame at the end. It kills all your hopes. She went "Yeh kabhi nahi badalne wala." Without this crescendo and crash, what would have made Imlie close the bs-jiju chapter completely? She'd have been torn between Aru and jiju for an idiotic amount of time.
I don't want to sound too optimistic, but she needs a final trigger to move towards Aru, to see him without anyone else clouding her vision. This will, fingers crossed, end in her mitigated Tripathing
Exactly, the point I made in my post a couple of pages back. Aryan naming the house in her name will kind of trigger some mixed or rather extreme reactions to mitigate the Tripathi-ing. They are just recycling the PD track in this track it seems.
In that track, Aryan protecting Imlie triggered Aditya, and it kind of killed every hope in Imlie regarding Aditya. Cause Imlie only knows what she went through to come to him.
I think something similar will happen here too. With Aparna falling ill, Aditya again lashing out at her, Tripathis again flipping, it might again shatter or deeply hurt Imlie. They might blame Imlie conveniently for Aparna's condition. And that might lead to something, maybe only. Totally unsure of this.
What I am sure of is that Imlie's attention and obsession will turn towards Arvind's connection and Aryan's past, with Aditya being the trigger. Let's see how it plays out.
