Day whatever in the life of Imlie and another day in which she sheds tears. I'm trying to recall how far back we have to go to find any episode in which Imlie doesn't cry.

Do you remember how both had a narrow escape from death by impalation at the hands of that same tribe? Do you remember them getting to Pagdandiya and having a showdown with a greedy skinny little runt of a terrorist whose only reason for causing terror was to get 100 crore. Why not for 200 crore ...for 500 crore even? Do you remember Arylie nearly being blown to smithereens, whilst the terrorist himself died without any disfigurement but the journalist next to him supposedly got blown to pieces or flew many miles away and over a cliff. Do you remember all that? Well you better damn do coz all this happened in one effing day and the day is not over yet.

Keeping aside our collective thirst (help did I just type that) , the way the Sumbul showed Imlie's trauma, ufff esp before entering the hut and in the last, the impact of what the girl has gone through hits you hard.

My thoughts on today:

Aryan's flashbacks upon being offered sindoor were interesting. Initially I thought, he's thinking about revenge and how there will be no marriage for him until he gets his badla. But I think it's actually about Arpita and her loss of sindoor. I found it beautiful actually.

I love Aryan's reaction to Imlie's tears today: "Why you gotta cry like that on me girl? You know I can't take it!"

Imlie walking to that hut, intentionally, and assuming the risk. Aryan "with her". Beautiful!

The way they show Aryan opening the doors, these two walking in together, and then Aryan closing the doors. The note of finality is there, but not in an ominous way. They are in this together. Beautiful!

My favourite scene is Imlie chasing after Aryan with her pyar and Aryan running for all he's worth. Like did he actually hold up a giant stick to try and scare her off? 🤣. But ofcourse destiny awaits and one day he'll want to embrace Imlie in all her chasing after him with a sweet potato glory.

This episode was just too damn cute and I'm going to rewatch a few times now 👀👀🥰

another thing i just noticed on 2nd run is....

"You are an Independent Woman now Imlie"

also means the people of PD and their opinion about her and her mom has less importance in her life now as

a) imlie now permanently lives in Delhi not PD

b) Meethi is also SK's lawfully wedded wife

so they've no agency what so ever over her life to force her into marriage this time. hopefully they use this as a defense.

Love how everyone in this fandom is SO united with their thirst 😆 But the chemistry is seriously unreal mann like itne kamm time pe hi, I am so damn invested.
