Today it was the stage setting for the real game changer episodes . Couldn’t tolerate Malini and Aparna even for a second . Malini still was always nuts but Aparnas dialogue cracked me up . Now I get where Adi gets this confidence or superiority complex from from his mom it’s in their genes . That’s y after all what her son has done still holds belief that her son is Imlies Pyar and she will go any lengths to save it as if her son is Hrithik Roshan cum Maryada purushottam Ram . These Tripathis have been cashing on Imlie ever since she came to Delhi . Now makers should stop it and let them realise their mistakes . Even Arpita couldn’t take Malinis rants . As someone correctly mentioned yesterday Rathore should stay away from Tripathis and Chaturs for their own sanity .

Malini’s end is near and she will expose herself in front of everyone once Adi comes back . That maybe the reason for aadi leaving bcause I don’t feel any accident is going to happen in pd which will harm Adis face . Malini is now mentally ill and needs treatment .

My hopes got crushed when Dev came to save Imlie . Maybe makers were trying to avoid cliches bcause otherwise I don’t see any other reason .

Imlie climbing to bus top and tumbling and Aryan appearing from nowhere to hold her was tooo much OTT and they slow motioned and highlighted it many times . They could have done it aesthetically but what came out was in distasteful and comedy .In the side long shot the angle to which Imlie is slanting is very much as if in some dance pose but still I excuse them for the bus too scenes .I felt they were trolling themselves with these cliches . My cliche of Aryan saving Imlie from getting hit by van and them rolling was far far better 😁😁.Maybe at this stage they don’t want that much intimacy btw them . Have to keep something for future .

Really liked their conversation between them on top of bus . This shows how long these two have come . Imlie considers him as a friend and companion and is affected when he is not reacting the way she thought of . And Aryan also have loosened it much and was comfortable and cooperative with her while she continued her drama . Imlie is very touchy with him . Forgot to mention that at first Imlie acknowledged that she knew he would come for her help but she couldn’t wait for him bcause time was less . They have mutual trust , faith , care , concern . Aryan is falling for Imlie very hard and his outer shell is breaking fast . If he is going in this fast forward his retraction will be unavoidable for Imlie . Imlie explained to him that she is going there not only for BS but for her village and Aryan knew it . These two have developed some transparent intimacy btw them which was alway there where one understands each other’s thoughts without the need to explain and see . Imlies outburst that day was out of her concern and fear not that she doubted Aryan which was proved today . One more thing I noted she has started to enjoy his company and tantrums also . Imlie was always like that . She was very giving but the reality is bcause of her nature everyone utilised her more instead of acknowledging and giving her back that love and care . In this relationship Aryan will make sure that Imlie doesn’t overgive and be crushed bcause of the weight on her shoulders . Instead as a partner he will share her weights and ease away the difficultie coming their way .

Imlie remembered Adi when Aryan complained of the bus journey . That was a traumatic experience for her and it was really nice that she made sure Aryan doesn’t feel the discomfort she felt and was supportive to Aryan which Adi wasn’t to Imlie . Imlie is undoing all Adis wrong doings it seems. Aryan was acknowledging her help and supportiveness and might be yearning for that for his entire life .

Precap shows cat crossing the path and Imlie is worried that something bad omen is happening . Aryan dismisses it . I really wish all these silly beliefs of Imlie and Meethi just vanishes and they should realise the truth that above all these beliefs and all there is supreme God who has the power to protect her children in whichever way she can . And all the efforts done with a clear, honest , focused , faithful mind will always be fruitful or will be good to her children in some later larger context which means even if a bad thing happens it may be an indication of a bright thing happening in future . I think with cat crossing it will be ImlieBS relation that will end which we all have been waiting to see eagerly. Then only will Imlie be able to move to her brighter future that’s Aryan .

Mujhe kyu lag rha h k Imlie billi rasta kaatne par cross nhi karegi to Aru pehle karega so that woh aage badhe in short meethi pe ayi trouble apne upar le lega. I feel shayad ek situation aaegi when he'll ask Imlie to take Meethi & Adi with her to a safe place & he'll stay back to handle everything us time shayad Imlie mana kare saying we promised to be partners so you can't ask me to leave you alone but Aru use convince kar lega. I'm sure kuchh bura hoga Aryan k saath that will make Imlie restless. Is trip ke baad dono ko apni feelings realise hongi but bolega koi nhi.

That scene was way too long and came across as awkward and even funny after a point. 😀😁😂 that can happen if you dwell on a 'moment' for too long. 😀

Malini for that moron of a husband who cannot see beyond himself and his supposed ideals, is whining away. And here we have Arpita, a witness to the horrific death her husband endured, still suffering from the trauma, and fighting with herself every day to overcome it.

Malini knows nothing of pain. Pain is just about to begin sweetheart. Cause it's all coming back at you. There is no better revenge than the one life comes to serve you with.

So Ace, what is an Ace, a playing card with a single spot on it, ranked as the highest card in its suit. Also Ace means an individual who is unusually good at something. Aditya is the Ace here, the best in his field, something that he has immense pride in, solid credo, a supportive and loving family, clingy girlfriend. All set in his life. Gets coerced into a marriage to save his life, and the downhill in his personal life begins, which he tries to salvage by redeeming himself and this marriage, but it even goes further downhill from there due to his personality issues. A man who is so good at investigating and writing does not investigate his wife's claims, his wife's presence with another man, and writes an obituary signifying the death of their relationship without solid evidence to support it. The Ace burning signifies that although everything is seemingly fine externally, the man is internally up in flames, sabotaging everything he is touching and burning it down along with him, even the prized career he oh so was proud of at one point in time. He is burning, but the flames are not subsiding, because it won't be the end of his burning.

Phoenix is a mythological bird, that burns in its own fire and turns into ash, only to emerge alive and energized to repeat another life cycle. Aryan is that phoenix. The cute, childish, kiddish, lazy, sweet, and warm Aryan died in the flames that burnt his BIL and family alive. He emerged from the ashes of that fire and emerged as Aryan Singh Rathod, to be the cold, stoic, calculative, suave, debonair, and edgy businessman that he is today, with the purity of his heart intact.

Spot on, as always, Libran! I definitely get the Ace and the Phoenix symbolism. However, I was wondering what's the connection between the Phoenix and Aryan in the context of the blast in PD? The Twitter thread referred to the resultant fire in Pagdandiya either as a fire of Phoenix feathers or cold ash. Cold ash from the burning of the ace makes sense. But what/who's the Phoenix that could possibly rise from it?

Like you've pointed out, Aryan has already gone through his Phoenix phase so this moment now in PD is not related to his resurrection.

The only way I can relate the Phoenix to the PD fire is if we're considering the mentality of the PD folks and how it's going to change after this incident. Like we've all been discussing, this incident, this fire will be the end of the beliefs that the village has held about city folks due to the likes of Dev and Adi's actions (or inactions), will be turned to ash and a new thinking will emerge, evoked by Aryan's actions, thus giving them a new view of city folks. Does that make sense?

Serendipitous6 – Thanks for clarifying about the burning ace being Atif's story. Shalu and I were wondering where did that come from. 😆
