Arylies scene in the starting was really cute. They give such couple goals already.

Office:

Aryan needs a better decision making team! This over confident imlie is simply thinking about her ex-husband! And more over who airs such interviews live? Since the reported is interviewing a terrorist, it's a dangerous test that cannot be aired live bcoz it will be perturbing to many. Anyway, Imlie and logic are enemies!

Excited for next week, it seems we are up for some good action sequence.

I think they did an exceptionally good job at establishing that their engagement with each other did not start in the office. That there were other forces always pulling them together even before Imlie started working at BT. Whilst yes, Aryan hasn't ever maintained a stand of neutrality with Imlie but then neither has she. It was like playing favourites. Which, whilst wrong, is not uncommon or sinister. They did a very good job at showing Aryan as not coming across as a lecherous boss.

@bold. I am one of those you speak of. I am not a regular watcher of Hindi soaps, or soaps in general, because the histrionics is a bit too overwhelming. But this show somehow has me so hooked, and if I try and explain it, this is what I feel.

The initial episodes presented a pleasant overall experience, with well etched characters, a good story line, and of couse fab acting, which seems to be missing now! Personally, I have immensely enjoyed watching the nuances Gash has brought to the character of AKT, to the extent that for example, in one scene, when he cooks Kadhi for Imlie, when they serve it to everyone, he casually rubs his hands over his apron. It's not like the action adds depth to his character or bring in a new dimension or anything like that, but it looked so natural, lime.something any person would do when they finished cooking! Now, I don't know if that was something that he just did or was specifically directed or what, but it seemed like he really lived the character. So when deliberately dumb down his character, it just feels very unfair and everything else seems forced and unnatural!

i'm one of those as well :) Imlie is the only show i watch.

But with your logic - with the story not remaining organic and its treatment different from before and Gash leaving - I should be cured of my addiction. No? Personally I'm not. And I suspect a lot of others are like me too.

Granted Adilie magic was the initial attraction but I attribute it now more to

non closure of tracks - keeps people wanting closure and not getting it and unable to move on

lovely dialogs - the best - people dynamics - is captured well and dialogs are profound yet simple - use of hindi words and attention to detail and consistency here with tying things together - superb

while story is not good - the construct of each episode is better than any other show. i attempt to try others out and cant see even a single episode.

superior acting across the board with the cast - understated - costumes not garish

cinematography

inability to predict whats coming next.itv usually follows a pattern and thats msising here

imlie maintaining her native accent - though the clothes confusion is getting too much for me now...pick a style and be consistent...one day makeup and normal clothes another day patiala with cross dupatta - what are they trying to prove here?

While all of these contribute - i'm yet to determine for me what will be the breaking point to leave the show.

Not Gash leaving as it is for some folks. I used to think it would be Sumbul leaving...but given the way makers were able to get me to connect to Arylie in such a short time...I feel now it's more than the leads...and tied more to the cleverness of the dialog and the ability of this show to keep me guessing and very rarely able to guess the makers next step in story

these makers are good at handling this element this for the majority of the viewers.

Just like they made us comfortable with Adilie even when Adi was hiding the truth from Malini and wanting Imlie under the same roof as his second wife ad old love ....with Arylie I don't have a sense of anything improper.

Just like not all viewers could condone Adilie...and saw Adi as a cheater, here also some folks cannot see Aryan justified.
