What Changed? - An Aryan and Imlie Fanfiction

Hey Guys,

I absolutely do not know how this forum works, but I'd like to try. I have a story in mind about Aryan and Imlie, a pair that is truly promising, although I'm sure the makers will certainly ruin it.

Regardless, let's hope I'm doing this posting stuff right. Please help if it's wrong! 🤣

What Changed?

Prologue

Aditya: And that's it Imlie. We're finally here, together. I promised you way back I'll fulfil all your dreams. I realise I had lost touch in between, hell, I was not even in my senses and hurt you and everyone else so bad. But I knew deep down that even then, you wouldn't give up on me. No one could destroy your love for me, not even me and definitely not Mr. Rathore.

Imlie's eyes instantly shot up at him, and for the first time since he had known her, Aditya couldn't read her eyes. Was it irritation, sadness or plain disbelief, he wasn't sure.

Aditya: Did I say anything wrong? I know I had doubted you, Imlie and I'll never be able to forgive myself for that. But if there's one thing I'm sure of, it's that Mr. Rathore DOES love you. Bloody hell! How dare he? How dare he..

Imlie: Don't..

Aditya: Imlie....

Imlie: How dare he, huh Aditya sir? You're right. How dare he back me up when everyone I loved stepped over me? How dare he ensure that he never supported me but instead I became strong enough to support myself? How dare he help me realise my own potential? How dare he go against all societal norms and do what's morally right for my sake? How dare he save my life and pride countless number of times without expecting anything in return? How dare he defend my honour every single time? How dare he love me unconditionally? And how dare he letting me go with you assuming I want THIS? All these just for me, how dare he????

Aditya: Did.... did you just call me...Aditya sir? And, that........that look in your eye? What changed?

Imlie: ....I...I...

So, that was just a prologue. The chapters will continue with the starting point, then get to this particular segment and then progress thereon.

Any thoughts?
