Ok I'll just say that these cliches do not attract me always...

I've watched only 2 #4lions shows in last 10 years

#2 nazar (yep you can judge me... But fantasy is my weakness)

So it's not like I'm only attracted to the chemistry here but the underlying promise and hope of a better future for imlie who's had a ton of responsibilities put on her shoulders at age of 18

I'd be perfectly happy with whoever partner she choses but that choice should be of happiness and not compulsion.

yup, many a times cliches are not enough. But in this case it really works in their favour.

1. I am currently watching this one... haven't gotten too far (will pm) but there is a lot of 'saving' involved where the FL is a classic 'damsel', a trope that fit well with its time. Imlie is not that... I don't want her to be that.

2. 🤣 yeah... nope... not happening ( I tried because I like Harsh Rajput but couldn't get past two episodes)

Bold: That is exactly it! She was robbed of a choice... and loved out of compulsion. I hope she gets the choice this time.

We clearly have diff pov's about the situation. I am going to leave it at the following. Imlie ne jo vachan/prann lene the usne khud ke mann se liye. ASR sirf itna bol raha hai, ki jo usne itna drama kia usse vachan ko nibhaaye. That is all. Which requires not shedding tears for the man.

Yes move on matlab door jaana. But madam ne do second pehele hi kaha ki voh apno ko kabhi nahi chodegi... to she has taken two contradicting promises?

ASR ne koi vachan nahi liya ki woh AKT ko bhul jaayega... ASR ka 4 saal se ek hi goal hai... taking revenge and he has been acting towards that. The problem with Imlie is she is all talk and no action at this point... that is what irks me as an audience and him as a character.

I don't think even if Imlie hated BS he would encourage that. When Imlie had said she wants to be like him he had vehemently discouraged her. Because he knows he is not god, he knows he has fault and he knows he is imperfect. He only wants Imlie to be the best, the strongest version of herself. He wants him to stick with what she has promised herself, he wants her to remember the pain others have given her and not become a doormat.

Totally agree. Since they are bringing a replacement there will be a 360 degree turn to characterization. I really feel like i am watching a brand new show and with new akt ki entry as villain that completes the casting. 😭
