I don't think they met while they were both in college. I think in an earlier episode Malini said that Aditya came to the college as a reporter. This would mean that Malini was already a teacher at the college and Aditya was already an established reporter meaning both were in their mid-twenties at the earliest. I would put his age at around 32 at the start of the show and 33 now.

No, it has been mentioned that they met while in college… the incident you are mentioning, might be the one where they met the first time when a minister was giving a speech in college and he made a mistake and both Malini and Adi stood up at the same time and corrected him…,

Journalism courses vary... and Malini was studying to be a professor so for that she at least needs a masters. Let's say college was 8 years for both... 4 years grad + 1 year internship and 3 years post grad after which Malini or AKT was not shown as new to their job/field... in fact AKT was shown as a renowned established patrikaar so let us add an avg 3 year work experience to this model.

This makes 11 years... so 30 ish

If I recall correctly, Aditya also stated that he has been with BT for 10-11 years. People normally finish their undergrad at 21-22. If Aditya got work with BT right out of uni then he is definitely 31-33 years old.
