In Asian culture, foxes are described as evil, or rather demons filled with ghosts which they feel explains the fox’s greediness and cunning. Foxes in Asian literature are foreboding and often signal to the reader something bad will happen similar to how a four-leaf clover means good luck. Foxes often appear as women or often manipulate them to pursue their lust which is why foxes are known for being seductive.

Wolf is representation of integrity. Of peace and harmony. They always stay with their pack.

I say untamed because he never looses control. But we have seen him slip up so many times now. But that's only with or for Imlie. Imagine a guy who calls himself stone-hearted, keeps all his emotions caged under lock-and-key but let's sliver of them slip out but that too unknowning.

That's why I can him tamed because he has kept everything to himself till now. Remember that rainy day of Imlie's wedding anniversary. That was I first time I thought all the tameness would go away to unleash the beast.

that's one way to put it....

in some ways he's being set free while in other ways he's being tamed all with imlie...
