So the fact that they've introduced a character like Aryan indicates that they've charted out the path ahead. We've also had plenty of discussions around that and why AryLie will happen. But still, for this discussion, if Aryan remains sweet or turns into a psycho, time will tell.

But worst case scenario, yeh lo.

If Aryan also turns into a psycho, then the show's premise will end up being Choose your Psycho. You have four choices. 🤪

Malini is one.

Adi, while no one wants go call him that, he's also unhinged.

If ASR goes that way, that will be option 3.

And with Imlie returning to Aditya after it all, she will be option 4.

Jo chahiye, le lo. Because in the end, koi kahi nahi jaanewala. Galiyan dete rahenge, hope karte rahenge, end games ki duhaiyaan dete rahenge, lekin show khatam hone tak, sab yahin rahenge — AdiNi, AdiLie, AryLie aur AryNi wale, sab yahin rahenge.🤣

I can understand Hindi pretty fluently, actually my parents said when I was a kid I watched so many Hindi movies I started speaking Hindi for a bit. Speaking it now is a bit uncomfortable for me because I don’t speak it enough to have any practice in it, but in my head it’s not bad at all! Lol

I actually speak Punjabi pretty fluently, that’s what we grew up speaking at home.

Just a fun prediction:

Since we saw Imlie tying the gathbandhan today to save her behena's rishta, what if in future Rupi finds the gunshot video & approaches Imlie to tell her that look I found your innocence proof now we can expose M & get you two back together. I'd love to see Imlie deleting it right away without giving a sec thought that would serve as a perfect tit for tat for Adiji's deletion of video proof & would also be in sync with Aryan's message deletion🤣Matlab ek teer se do shikar. Close whatever chances Adiji has to come chasing after her & also apni pyaari behen ka ghar tootne se bachana🤣🤣

I appreciate you laying out the worst case scenario lol This is a coping strategy I have for my anxiety - imagine the worst case scenario and work back from that. It really does help.

Funny enough though, this is a situation I have zero anxiety about 😂

Too many signs point to Aryan being the opposite of Adi for Imlie, which to me says Arylie is 100% happening without Aryan going off the rails/negative. Also, as you pointed out, makes zero sense.

Like what’s going to happen A Aryan too becomes negative, outshining Adi’s negative, now Adi becomes the lesser of two evils and so Imlie goes back to him?! That’s exciting 🙄

See thing is, these two women, and their son, are so confident in who they are that - yes, it might’ve been uncomfortable, but they know what’s what. They’re not concerned with what other people will say or think. They’re more concerned about how this impacts Imlie/Aryan as people.

Slightly unrelated but also related thought -

I was rewatching the scene where Aryan brings Imlie home. They’re having this grand party and in walks this this super simple girl carrying all her belongings in a sack. Their concern is immediately for Imlie and if she’s okay. Ensuring Aryan hadn’t mistreated her in some way. And then second is to have her involved in the party, mingling with guests. It didn’t even occur to them that she might stand out in an awkward way. They didn’t think for a second she didn’t belong there just as she was.

ETA - totally didn’t even respond to your original question, yes, as a human being I totally felt for them. Having to be part of this embarrassing circus.
