I don't see it that way. The way I see it Aryan never intended to get to Adi via Imlie. His relationship with Imlie was made independent of him even knowing she was Adi's wife. He only finds out after her first article is published and Adi takes him anger out on Imlie at work. We have a monologue where Aryan says - I did not want to bring her home but could not leave her in the street. We see Aryan also telling her to speak to Adi softly as he is angry when Adi leaves the room after seeing them. He allows her to write a note to BBSB. Only after he saw her state in the bridge episode did he realize all she has been through and from that point on he provides her with support to withstand Adi's torture on her. Even the shadi coverage he lets her make the decision but encourages her to get over her pain. /he helped her get over her fear with the slide. He even took her food for her in the car. He is so mindful of her comfort. Every time /imlie felt bad during the wedding he stood there for her - but he never did anything to ensure Adi and Imlie did not patch up. Adi himself shamed Imlie and dropped the chit with her name on it. Adi did not lift a finger to protect Imlie from Anu's constant torture and name calling. Aryan picked up her name and gave her izzat. He also always referred to Imlie as his team - never as personal interest even when he was provoked by Adi. When Adi called her a butterfly again Aryan did not claim any romantic interest - he used the perfect word for Imlie- survivor - which describes her right.

He hears her does not diminish what she says, actually does what she says - with the aarthi in office, with going home on time...they have an equal barabari relationship. Their conversations are so energizing and encouraging each other - unlike speaking about Malini all the time or dismissing her as an insecure sister. He says clearly he does not need her to be his shield like she is for Adi or needs her for his revenge. He is more than capable of doing this himself. He is with Imlie independent of Adi.

So it is a true friendship in my eyes...much more genuine and 2 sided than what she has had with Adi at least. Adi takes all the help from Imlie and treats her like she is an immature kid and ignores her needs and her pov.

I am a Adilie fan but If Shadi between Adi and Malini ,happen Its pointless of Imlie hanging to a man who can’t make decision on what he wants in his life . To me look like this man always wanted a woman with him , so If I can’t get Imlie Its ok I go for the 2nd best Malini , with his bullshit saying of zimmandari .

We assume , Imlie and Adi manage to patch up their difference , so what happen to his Zimmindari ? Malini still be alone , why the need of marriange ? He still can take his responsiblity without getting Married.

If Imlie thinking of getting back with Adiya after this . she is a husbsnd snatcher .Its better she move up .

If Adini happens Arylie will not. They won't do both..it will be too complicated.

But I don't think Maha Saptha is over yet...either PF or Arylie marriage may still happen.

Why give so much foreshadowing of Arylie unless it was to confuse us to think Adini won't happen and spring them on us.. But if Adini happens I will get off Arylie prediction - because if Adi is stuck with Malini and cannot come after Imlie anyway they will take time to drag the Arylie romance out to entertain Arylie fandom and torture Adi. I though Arylie would happen to take Imlie away from Adi giving him no ability to come after her. With Adini he still can't so that no longer holds.

I never thought makers would do Adini because after that it makes Adi very very hard to redeem reasonably. With Arylie - Adi still loses Imlie but Adi redemption could be done with taking Aryan down eventually. Here it seems like Arylie is actually here to stay for awhile with Imlie's actual acceptance.
