He did not want to rock the boat because he did not consider the marriage to Imlie legal or valid or ever thought would have relevance in his life and thought he could save his family and fiancé the same shock and pain he went through by completely hiding it and getting Imlie to leave.

He is still paying for his mistake and for me - once someone acknowledges their mistake and tries to make significant recompense - no sense in bring ing it all out again.

For me his initial mistakes were wrong - but he has paid for them with SK burial, confession etc.

Now let's focus on the other mistakes he has made - distrust of someone he promised to love and trust, putting GD over love,,,and all the kaands after he told the truth about Imlie. These he has to pay for and likely will. If they can show an Adi who is punished and can show that these events have changed him from who he currently is .. and should similar situations happen in the future he will not repeat his same mistakes...then at that time maybe I'll consider Adilie again. We don't love based on people's characteristics or flaws...but we have to worthy of the partner.

The fact that his own mistakes pushed Imlie to Aryan and took away from him his love and the ability to do what he wanted most - mentor her is suitable punishment for him. With Malini now controlling him - his punishment is not minimal. Makers have ensured that everyone except Malini gets their dues. I hope and trust they have something as nasty prepared for Malini their golden girl as well.

He expected her to mother his (rape)-child with her sister, he then asked her whether she tried to kill his baby mama. Then, he went ahead and accused her of an extra-marital affair at the barest provocation of his ex who happens to be his baby mama who happens to be Imlie's sister. Every woman wants this to be their love life. Such romance.

Malini deserves to be in jail but she has no humanity left in her, she's already in hell and can only sink lower.

Can't disagree with you here. I feel the next focus of Malini will no longer be to keep Adi tied to her but more rather hurt Adi the most by ensuring that Adilie never get together. She may even be the one to cause Arylie to happen!

Again, no feeling any sort of empathy, sympathy or any of those emotions but just pity, that they let their inner evil triumph over their inner good without waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel.

P.S - if anybody looking for tea then in short, I haven't defended Malini and I condemn her actions.

Looks like I missed this post when you made it a month back. But I do remember the emotional breakdown you are talking about.

You have penned it down better than I could have @blue, I am quoting @waffle's post because I agree. Criminals aren't born, but circumstances make them criminals. I feel no sympathy for Malini, with the levels she has stooped to she now only has misery in the cards.

But I have recognised what happened, and I see why she blames Imlie for it all. Her relationship with Aditya was never perfect. The moment he left her for Imlie, the one sided battle that Malini picked to pursue Adi was a lost cause. Everyone knew that but her.

👏👏👏 Very very very well expressed!

Oof these 8 pages were a rollercoaster

I think somewhere the focus was shifted from the original intent of your post but the conversation that developed afterwards was introspective to different views. I appreciate critical thought regarding this topic more than flippant commentary and half-formulated hypotheticals. I also find the placement of self within the analysis unhelpful in an objective conversation.. so all those posts which kept to the topic - I appreciate your views

Lovely conversation starter, Neelu 😳

Oh dear, I’m wading into the water here 😆
