Totally agree with the bold part!
Honestly, and I probably shouldn’t speak on this as I was more a casual viewer of Balika Vadhu but I do see some parallels here. I think someone mentioned Aryan having the potential to be Shiv 2.0 and that’s what I see here.
Whatever Adi and Imlie had is done. It’s broken beyond repair. They’re two people that should never have been together, but it doesn’t mean that their time together hasn’t taught them some valuable lessons. This also doesn’t mean that in the future they can’t find a way to become friends, come to a mutual understanding. They’ll just be moving on in life with different partners.
I feel like the way they came together and what was done to make them acceptable left a sour taste. Each person, more so Imlie for Adi, were invaluable. Imlie added color and emotions outside of righteous indignation to Adi’s life; whereas Adi helped Imlie experience her first sense of mature emotion and heartbreak. The unfortunate part for Imlie is that her break up was complicated by the fact that Adi was her hubby and not her bf
It would be nice if AdiLie could progress forward into the future as amicable exes BUT I feel like Adi has a lot of personality flaws to fix. As for Aryan, if he’s in the picture, I see him somewhat skeptical of the friendship but not interfering as long as Imlie has learned to not sway accordingly to someone else’s moods and emotions.
