Watch Chintaji...Sumbul was phenomenal today! I could not watch the episodes earlier because Imlie was always treated shabbily in them. These days with the balance of Aryan's support...its easier to see when you know Imlie has someone and is not fully alone.
She recounted everything she went through for a last ditch attempt to persuade Adi (but actually for Aryan - in terms of story progression) - who was absorbing everything this girl has done and visibly you could see his growing horror (he was good today...subtle expression changes...at what she has endured and respect for Imlie and I think realized the horrible situation she has been thro. He is going to fall hard for her..
The scene where Adi comes back to Imlie after saying he will marry Malini - both men converge on her...Adi hurting and Aryan subtly taking a defensive pose on behalf of Imlie.I liked that after Aryan's first coming on the scene - he never interfered - just stood there for support respecting Imlie's voice. It seems like Adi announced marriage to Malini because of ASR but really who wants a man who can make a decision like this just because he is insecure and jealous. Tomorrow he could do worse things to Imlie if he again is deceived into thinking Imlie likes another. Dangerous man Adi. He behaved as usual total jerk like and manipulated by his master puppeteer.
They tried to give him a redeeming feature in having him hit someone for speaking about his wife and Gash looked really good in the scene.
She will not go back to him after this. Adi again made it feel like he made the decision for the baby...but his acting and his stance is so off wrt Malini - can't say.
Precap - Anu and Malini will not let Imlie go till they get every bit of blood out of her. I really hope Aryan does what Adi could never effectively and consistently do - tell Anu off and show her her place.
