Don't want to divert the thread from topic so will make only one post on this.

Either AC, MC exist for him enough to guilt trip him and have his complete trust and put his relation with Imlie at stake Or they don't exist for him at all so he doesn't care what crime they conduct in his own bedroom using his own body. It can't be both.

everyone is so riled up against him cos he gives basic courtesy to the woman who is carrying his child and who has tried to commit suicide twice..

i find this whole situation so forced.. classist kyu hai uska jawaab nahi hai.. but hai.. kyu ki he treats malini with respect.. are there has to be more to it.. just cos someone shows manners doesnt mean he is classist..

i get it midnight... AKT as a character has had many layers.. and honestly he has goofed up numerous times but he always picks up from the bottom.. corrects his mistakes and definitely learns from them..

right now in his mind he has not done anything wrong.. so he is allowing imlie to cool down.. and on other hand imlie is Garam tawa for lack of better word.. cos he is acting like nothing has happened..

classist by definition is someone who treats people differently on how they look, what they wear if it’s not up to his: her class.. a very good example of that is Anu Chaturvedi. She calls imlie naukarani and SK criminal..

Coming to Aditya.. he is the same guy who fell in love with a girl for her morals! Not looks, not how polished she was but just that she was class apart from her contemporaries just by the way she was thinking about issues..

He was the same guy who lectured his parents that so what if imlie does house work.. she does it with utmost perfection.. so why is she treated less than anyone else..

He was the same guy who shouted at his then wife because she got imlie to her classist moms house n in process imlie got humiliated…

He was the only one standing up to Anu when mithi was working at her house like a maid…

just because right now he is not able to understand where he is going wrong.. and mind you he is trying.. and he will keep on trying to resolve the situation.. he didn’t walk away.. he is termed classist

Is he wrong? Absolutely! He has made blunders but is he classist absolutely No!

Coming to Yesterday’s episode.. I will be honest I have only seen the clip with Chai vendor… it was mere different perspective.. why there r less women in corporate workforce or in general workforce?

Where the Tea vendors story could give us reason how education and perspective change how we look at life.. and how we should address this gap..
The corporation CEO would have given a perspective that how do you climb ladders when the deck is set against you.. there is no right or wrong here.. it’s just different POV..

I know I will be getting flak for this.. but when Imlie said she wants to do it her way.. Aditya backed off.. gave her chance.. be it right or wrong.. her decisions.. he is respectful of her wishes still.. even when she burned down the MS and wiped down her sindoor..

On the other hand she mixed her personal and professional life in the interview.. trying to justify whatever she has done till date is right because Trust.. the very thing which is extremely situational.. and it’s not me who said it.. it’s imlie.. when they had their first argument after Kamra ghusai.. “kuch cheejo mein toh hum apne aapse jyada aap or bharosa karta hai”.. kuch chije.. Trust is fluid.. it changes as the situation changes.. it can’t be used as a blanket term!

So to sum up.. he is not classist.. he never was and he never will be.. people are upset with him and I am one of them but I can’t just shove everything he ever did for imlie under the rug Cos that would be injustice to the character…

AKT was bigamist, then he became toxic and now a classist, the birdie app even called him a sinner. And yet people are waiting with bated breath on just AKT's reactions.🤪

Word to everything Seera. I cannot connect with this show, because when you start to see a constrained narrative, there cannot be any sane discussion on characters. Every episode I read about it feels like a psycho drama..with the characters being bipolar. Reprisal has become the crux of this story and my question remains- how do I undo the last 300 episodes.

I digressed midnight- IMO, no AKT is not classist. He is at fault, but not a classist. Seera has literally mentioned everything up there and I can start recounting all the scenes right from her birthday episode to letting her walk by herself to the podium when she came second, yet cheering her from the stands, to making sure she learns english, to the one where he stood up against his family. Some of these scenes have such beautiful encouraging dialogues..but yet the few scenes where he is not rebuking AC for her behavior, the way we want him to (and we all know why that is, hell even the director said that it will end the show!), overpowers these...🤷‍♀️

The man left a settled life towards an unknown, following his heart - maybe that is the biggest mistake he did!

well if imlie didnt want anything to do with him then she should have done what she did right now... left him when he left PD.. just focused on studies and never returned to t house.. She was happy to do come back...

he got burried alive because he felt he wronged her and after that she called him dayaloo... he reasoned with her.. gave her examples why he is in love with her and why she is wrong...

he can be anything but classist never... but well makers want people to believe that and people are believing so nothing more to add to it..

Frankly Malini, isse koi farak nahin padta ki aap is ghar main rahe ya nahi. Aap hamesha hamari achi dost rahengi or ye baat Imlie ko accept karni hogi... something on these lines..

How affected is people about him.

even a small action make people rile up 😆
