Ok help me understand the whole bike scene before they go to the tea stall- because the way I looked at it - I did not feel Adi was trying to impose his superioty over Imlie in any way as some are making it out to be - ok he used the word “ego” but Imlie’s response was “phir se ego” - when did Adi talk about ego before? Did I miss hearing that? He has used “zidd” but not ego right?
And his reactions to when Imlie was venting out in that scene , he never looked upset or angry - in fact I thought he was just absorbing it and letting her vent . And she was using her right as a wife to lash out and also take his dictaphone 😆.
LOL arey he used the word "ego" during their big vishwaas fight also😆....yeh Adi ka standard hai....bahut baar bol chuka hai Imlie ko ki tum baat apne ego pe le rahi ho when she doesn't agree with him on something and he's convinced that he's right😆.....he said it to her during that fight ki he's just asking one Q cuz he wants to hear Imlie ke muh se ki kya hua tha and then when Imlie was like WTF is this dumb Q, toh uske jawaab mein Adi was like tum kyun is baat ko ego pe le rahi ho, it's just a simple Q😆......that is why she's still riled up about this EGO matter😆.
See I did think she had a valid point when she asked him why he thinks it's ego if she has a different perspective than him on something....but uske baad se toh Imlie has indeed made it about her ego in many ways😆....especially since she's joined the office, she is refusing Adi's help cuz of ego only😆....but in this particular incident, her perspective on wanting to IV that chai ki tapri lady was indeed her own instinctual thing based on what she connected to - not for the sake of denying what Adi suggested to her.....so baat wohi mis-timing ki ho rahi hai😆. It's not that Imlie NEVER has ego😆....but Adi chooses the wrong moments to presume she's making it about ego😆....cuz it's not about ego when he presumes it to be so....but other times it is, and he doesn't point it out then😆.
In this particular case, it was again more about Imlie's anger on being triggered by that ego word so she bajaaoed him ki ab aap apna ego lekar baitho, main toh chali.....lol but Adi was ekdum shaant in the face of everything.....lol warna usually he has a temper enough to get provoked on his ego too.....but this time he didn't retaliate in any manner....bas chup chaap sun liya cuz I guess for him it was indeed Imlie ki first assignment that he wanted to see taking precedence than any of their own aapas ke jhagde😆.
Adi never tries to impose his "superiority" on Imlie in the way people are trying to spin it simply over the current fight b/w Adilie.....lol he's only either done it jokingly ya kuch halki si zidd mein......him being bossy doesn't mean he considers himself superior to Imlie....but I guess ab log Adi ki personality ke nuances ya toh dekhna nahin chahte, ya samajhna nahin chahta in the need for empty bhaashanbaazi😆.
