Though there has been some buzz on and off about Gashmeer moving out/wanting to move out. So if that happens, I don't know they may end up showing Adi Babu becoming devdas and dying? Pata nahi, but obviously Gashmeer and Fahmaan both can't be out. Dekhte hain kya hota hain.

I have seen the rumours too... but I think he clarified saying that the show has given him a lot of recognition and he won't leave. But again he spoke about it taking a emotional toll on him and apparently he got a movie offer. So i am not sure anymore.

I don't think he will leave though. I hope they focus on Arylie with Adi and Malini in the bg

I also read somewhere that the actor playing Aditya wanted to leave the show. If he leaves immediately the show will go into peril that's why they introduced Aryan with such a strong character arc. Last time in IPKKND, they have to shut down the show when the male lead wanted to leave. So maybe it's a well thought out strategy to keep the show going.

If you go back in this thread I have posted a twitter poll as well which Aryan won... Fahmaan has killed it as Aryan. I can't stop the makers from making him Malini 2.0 but I can warn them... if they want TRP's they should focus on Arylie.

In Udaariyaan... the old ML and FL finally separated and episodes have been FL and new ML centric. The TRP jumped like crazy. It is now competing with Ghum - a show that has maintained spot two forever. UD tied with Ghum this week. If Gul wants TRP to increase she better keep Arylie.

Babe, I have gone through these posts hence I know that Fahman's entry has shifted the entire viewership. There are more people who are developing a fondness for the character, and I guess some are more invested in Imlie's journey than the rut of Aditya and Malini she is stuck in forever. And we can surely see the shift in TRP post-Aryan's entry.

Aur ye log bhi chant hai bro. They very well know what will click for TRP, hence they went the routine character way, but this time Gul has gone way back to her original days. She has carved Aryan from the skin of Maan Singh Khurana of Geet. Subtle yet strong.AryLie's equation is very much like Maan and Geet only.

I know... chant to hai. I haven't seen Geet so can't comment in that part but yes, Aryan has been developed as a strong character... he has all the clichés that click with the indian audience. Plus a fantastic actor is embodying the role. A lot of people are loving it and that is making me hope... but I also know that the primary difference between Gul and Ekta is listening to the viewers.

Ekta has received more success because she is extremely receptive to audiences demands unlike Gul. Gul has driven a show to the dumps because she refused to listen to viewers. Viewers got angry and boycotted the show... ended in 70 episodes 🤪

At this point we can only hope... beyond which if Aryan is butchered or leaves the show I can kiss goodbye to the show too,

Oh, yes, absolutely! The whole Dev-Geet-Maan triangle fits well here. Just like Adi, Dev was also married when he married Geet - although the reasons were drastically different as compared to Adi-Imlie marriage. And then Maan was the one who'd brought the broken Geet back to life just like we're seeing signs with Aryan and Imlie.

Yeah, a classic example of Ekta's receptiveness, is KZK2. They ruined the show after KSG's exit. Anurag used to look like a clown in front of Bajaj. And Prerna was much much better off with Bajaj, than she was ever with Anurag. Prerna's character was, sorry to say, a loser and so was her boyfriend Anurag. Unke pyaar ko dekh ke maut aati thi.

Coming to Gul, she cannot remove Malini and Aditya, but she cannot save her show by skirting around this triangle forever. She needs change, which Aryan's entry has offered and that has gone well with the audience. But I don't trust her because she screws good shows over, using the heroes. So, I am in 2 minds. But if they screw AryLie, my attention ceases to exist on the show.
