When I first heard Piya Tose, I was like wow Gul managed to get something amazingly melodious in an earthy/retro manner toh pure show ka soundtrack usi zone mein rakhenge.....but nope, we were wrong😆. Piya Tose is the tukka and the rest of these lame new tunes/one line phrase waale soundtracks they are coming up with is standard Gul fare.

It's pretty clear that they themselves are quite convinced about this Balamwa song and feel it's totally perfect for Adi's point of view😆....isliye toh new new versions banaate hain especially to debut in some "big scene"😆......toh humare bolne se kuch badalne nahin wala.....yehi chalega ab.

Am not talking about those Rabbah ve's and mitwa endlessly echoing in the BG those are hardly a soundtrack.and Ganda at that😆*sigh* I guess I should be thankful here ke bas endless balamwaa nahi playing on loop in that gandi awaaaz🤔 thanks for showing me the silver lining😆

Sigh with piya tose they have set the bar so high ke it is hard to.live upto the standard and usko bhi full potential pe use nahin kar rahe. Oh well keep giving me good stuff feelz nikalne ke liye hum koi juggad Nikaal hi lenge😒

SK did indeed raise a brave girl and he has always encouraged her to fight for what's right....he's taught her to FACE the world, not hide from it or try to remain coddled in her privilege. That was the stark difference between SK-Imlie and Dev-Malini.......upbringing matters.....all the money/class/privilege in the world can't buy you good upbringing if you have no idea about what the right values are.

SK was protecting Imlie but still didn't stop her from going into danger and facing a tough situation to save Adi....he supported her but never tried to hold her back like that. And Adi is an extension of the influence of SK in Imlie's life.....he also never holds her back, encourages her to FACE the world on her own dum....he protects her but doesn't stifle her.....that is the difference from 7 years of superficiality which was all about coddling a certain pampered princess who couldn't face anything that didn't bow before her whims.

Idk kab tak yeh Coldwar of sorts will go on from didi's side caz the moment imlie will get her focus shifted she will do didi bhakti only hi ke she is so good so achi called me a liar immature attentionseeker low class but that isnher love so I want her to stay chup on this for a lifetime.. she noticed everything but they will not make her show and talk about it to adi too ke how she lied straight and imlie ko baat karne tak nahi dia but they both will even call that her smajhdaari and her durdarshana and isko bhi ehsaan maan lenge toh this is the kind of conversation I badly want to happen but Don't want it either caz then idk what level of bhakti we will get so skip 😆 do it offscreen waise bhi the day and moment they open their mouths about didi bohat ghussa aata hai

@bold: Wohi I was also musing ki what is it that makes their pair stand out without any of the typical "romantic" scenes that people keep demanding of them? 😆......and I think it's what you said here.....that balance between soft and rugged......that contrast of this pahaad jaisa aadmi so unraveled and tender with this petite si ladki.......that is what gives that hatke edge to their scenes.

They don't even need to romance cuz just that visual contrast of their appearance and emotions is so well depicted by the acting and direction.....that is what elevates them beyond the staple stuff👏.....they just nail that combination of intensity and tenderness.

Hey kuttapu, sorry I wasn't able to post caps of Rupi doing Didi ki chop😆....but if you want to take our word for it, you should check out the epi regardless😆......Didi will remain clueless overall but Rupi did effective chop of her arrogance in the last scene and even Ts weren't doing as much bakwaas as they did last few days....so its watchable.

I will watch it for sure. Today of all days it’s super busy at work and got a dinner plan with husband’s friend & family 🙄. They are great but with the Covid situation and all I am not really looking forward to it 😬 I am insisting on outside dining. Hopefully it won’t be that bad.

Coming to didi, Didi is the kind of a person who doesn’t want to appear to be a bad person, but can’t match their inner thoughts with the supposedly Mahan image. I could never understand how didi never stood up for her mom. Yes, she was upset with Dev and then he had a heartattack and she forgave him. Dev is let of easily because he is rich and they want his money?

In the regional version I saw even though Anu character was negative she had dignity. She left the house the minute it was confirmed that Dev had an illegitimate daughter. She came back later, but for her daughter. Here,I wish both Mom & daughter would just take off and work on their mental issues on their own ( they can take Mr.C as well) and leave Adilie alone 😀

Agree with you both . Both sk and adi are there to watch Imlie's back but they let her take charge to face the situations empower her in many different ways which is why imlie is the way she is. They are super fierce concerned and loving towards here as should be but they do not oppress her by trying to be the only ones in charge unlike didi who despite all claims of independent mature is still living in dark times except under the label of concerned ...

But I'm saying ki Imlie jitni marzi bhakti kar le, Didi ka muh pichka rahega aage se cuz in the coming days, Imlie will continue to get more regard as Adi's wife in some way or the other and that is why Didi ko Imlie bardaasht nahin hogi even for casual levels of Didi bhakti😆

@bold: Oh wow AC did that in the regional version? So she did have some baseline for self-respect there.....in this version toh maa-beti are both completely without any self-respect and just walk around showing off when there is nothing but hollowness inside them. Ah well.

Exactly. It's kinda like SK started the job by moulding Imlie into this fierce/independent girl and Adi simply picked up the baton and ran with it😆.

It's about FAITH na....Adi hasn't had this kind of FAITH in anyone else before Imlie....that is why he is able to be that person who BELIEVES so much in her that she will accomplish whatever she sets her mind towards.....cuz he's seen so much living proof of it.....toh jab insaan tumhein kuch de vishwaas karne ko, tab jaake bhi toh tum us insaan pe is level ka bharosa karte ho.

SK shaped Imlie into the kind of person that she is, and Adi is now going to continue that mission by making sure that her spirit is never suppressed, that her potential is achieved to its fullest extent.....this also follows that similar combination of being protective of Imlie but also always encouraging her to face the world and forge her path on her own terms.

Adi could only show this kind of belief in Imlie also cuz he sees the strength in her.....jab life mein isse pehle koi aisi strong ladki mili bhi nahin, toh aur kisi ko kya encourage karta to stick by her independent beliefs and doing things on her own? 😆.....7 saal toh waste kar diya naazuk Didi ki chaaplusi karne mein😆.....so now he has to make up for those wasted years by spending his life supporting an actually strong/independent woman.

Nailed it! With just the addition of I love how this is more for you as a viewer to see and they Don't harp it..I just love how they show them as such normal individuals jo saara din bhaith ke apne gender roles nahi discuss karte ya uske lihaaz se sab nahi karte rehte and are truly equals..adi shows emotions in such raw form while she shows strength and courage just like is /would be expected from males. No am not saying females cannot be courageous or fierce but like you see she is given the full charge to headline an action sequence that is rare. They would show her usually to show courage in baatein and bhashaan but action(and not just maar peet wala action but koi bhi solution ) ke time usually the women are reduced to being the damsels only bade bade bhahsan dene ke baad bhi they will be so naazuk over the tinniest little scratch etc

Something they are so afraid to show on TV as we have seen again with this sequence too how the flipped that too with adi being hostage being the damsel 😆 of sorts but her being the hero ..and all hat bina even making a show and bhashaanvaazi that is what just works along with what you said.
