I, PT indulge my tantruming wife and askher to take he medicine. Imli walks in with some honey to sooth her stomach and I leave the room. can’t stand the sight of the girl I earlier used to shower with love.

Times for the Ts have changed. We are wallowing in hurt and refuse to budge and understand the full story. Adi happiness is no longer our priority. Our selfish pride and societal status matters more. Once in a while when the younger Ts call us out on our hypocrisy and terrible behavior we feel guilty and ashamed for a split second then hold on to our false pride with both hands.🤨

Imli begs the police to let her work with a sketch artist to save her husband. Our antennas rise and we want to squash that truth. So we each take turns to mislead the police with our lies. I throw in Satyakam’s name and say Imli is from PD to fuel the police’s temper. Radha says Imli was trying to blackmail them, BK doesn’t trust Imli at all anymore and Aparna wanted to show to reinforce that Malini was the real wife and Imli was just a household help. We topped ourselves with these cheap taunts to prove we can hit rock bottom.

At one time we Ts worried for the young 19 yr old alone in the streets of Delhi and ready to travel to PD to bring her back but today we sat tight lipped after pouring our share of ghee to the fire as they dragged Imli in for questioning. We saw the way they spoke to her in our presence but we decide to turn a blind eye to keep our false pride intact.
