It was a very dramatic epi for sure... on many levels.. some okayish and others were hard to watch ....
PT & Apu in their room talking when Imlie shows up.. PT leaves silently and runs into Adi at the door... goes off without a word. Adi gets a call from the editor..who warns him the bad guys are still out for his blood. Adi is worried for his family and is in a quandary as he wants to protect his family at any cost.
Imlie tries to offer honey to Apu who refuses and then magically Dd shows up, which gladdens Apu .. who happily takes it from her hand... ready to eat the poison fed by her bahu... asli bahu..🤢The next few lines of Apu truly broke my heart..today.. the way she insulted Imlie by saying that she can never envision her son with anyone but Malini, there is no match or mel between Adi & Imlie, at any level.. could you imagine how Adi fell for her, i am sure it is only out of guilt. It was Aparna's dream that M become her bahu for 7 long years.. the 7 yr ka rishta... is never going to leave us.. you could have come to me, we could have resolved.. he has just strayed that is all, could have been straightened. All this Imlie is listening as she is outside Apu's bedroom. Poor thing discarded her prize in the trash.
But got to hand it to Imlie who was not disheartened by listening to that drivel being spouted by Apu.. goes off to tell BBSB about Dd's arrival.
Does not find him outside and then editor calls him.. who warns him to leave the house with the family. Imlie spots a truck outside the house and asks them to move.. spots a gunny bag.. that moves and does not think much of it. But on hearing the editor, puts the pieces together and screams for her BBSB.
Next up the family has been duly informed and all are.. sitting around waiting... god knows what. Adi is going to magically appear. Rupi was the sensible voice today who says stop blaming Imlie. Adi is in danger due to his job not due to Imlie. M consoling her maa with whom she has a gehra rishta.. more so than her behen. Nishu talks to the editor but not before Radha throws in a few digs at Imlie calling her abshagun... 🤢 and horrid things... Can someone shut up Radha??? Annoying pest... she is better off keeping quiet..
It is revealed that Anu is the kidnapper of Adi.. and she has arranged for the goons to break his bones and arrogance. What a criminal mind AnaConda has...😡 😡 connections to arrange for his kidnap and even threatens them if they dared to kill him. What she has in mind is torture and to hear his screams which will give her some closure to her insane desire of avenging her humiliation.
Adi tries to negotiate with the 2 goons one of whom is Jugnu, to no avail. At the police stations everyone is pressing the police to find Adi.. when Imlie says I saw the kidnappers, pls save my pati..
The words from Apu, Radha, PT & Harish were truly horrid... beyond redemption today. They threw Imlie under the bus without a care... how I wish SK were here, he would have buried them all alive for daring to say those things.
Apu - yeh ladki is not the patni, pulls Malini and says she is. Mitti udkar chand ko choona chahti hai...lekin chand maili nahi ho jaati
Radha - this girl says rubbish dont belive a word she says
Harish - I don't have any confidence on this girl, not one iota...
Pankaj - she is related to SK n from PD...
Police take her away for questioning.. this was truly reprehensible by the Tripathis, to show that their mentality is so low and crass... can sacrifice the life of a 19 yr old for their foolish pride n prestige.
Rupi was the one sensible voice who spoke out against the family, questioning them, their intent... 👏👏
Calling them out for their insensitivity and stupidity in blaming Imlie.... says next time they say they love their children, she knows that it is NOT true. 👏 Nishu says too, they have fallen so low... so low... bas.....
Pallavi supporting Imlie too.. Looks like some of Rupi's words found their mark in the senior T's who are feeling ashamed for their words n actions.(it felt that way to me) Too late, as the words once said in anger or pride can never be taken back.
ST was fab today.. her fear, her desperation, her insult by the T's.... superb... Being questioned by the police who ask her why did she kidnap Adi, why did she say she is his wife etc etc.. does she have any proof of her marriage..... all valid questions.. and finally breaks down. The events have come to a crescendo, all come crashing down upon her... awww the poor thing.
malini calls her baba and says that Imlie is being questioned.. Dev is leaving for the police station when Anu offers to go with him.. to get a front row seat to see the anguish and despair of the T's & Imlie's suffering. Such a vile despicable act by a woman...
Edited-----While all the T's were saying all this, malini stood by silently watching all that is happening..and then the token STOP IT PLEASE STOP IT..... whatever happened to my choti behen, meri pyaari behna, HAQ dilaaungi and all that... I was flipping mad.. to see this from her.. just at the very end a token protest.. and a call to her Dad... come save me.. handle the situation..
precap - Imlie confronts Anu and asks her pointblank if she was the one behind his kidnapping? Anu feigns ignorance and then Imlie grabs her phone... she has the fierce look of a woman who will stop at nothing to find her husband, leave no stone unturned.. the battle has begun in earnest.
Anu has thrown the gauntlet and the conches have been blown.. was is about to begin. Imlie has been the obedient dutiful bahu so far but when her honor/pati's life is at stake, she will find him and avenge those of wrongdoing. Hoping to get a decent track out of this. The battlelines have been drawn.
