Okay, today's episode was very good short 15 mins episode, as I am ignoring the last 5 mins taken up by Anu's frustrated rant (I checked). We got everything we were asking from the makers and some, so much that by the end of it, bechare T's ki hawa hi nikal gayi.😆
So we started the episode where we left off late week, with Imlie declaring that she is withdrawing from teh competition due to her not being able to see her sasuma in pain. As usual, Anu declares her the biggest loser of the competition🤔 rather than declaring Prachi as the winner. Imlie looks at Aparna suffering and goes towards the judges table with a determined stride, which frightened AC so much that she literally shrunk in her chair. She must have remembered the last time Imlie had twisted her hand and must be thinking that now what Imlie will do. But Imlie had more important things to do rather than deal with AC at that moment, so she picked up 2 glasses of water & gave one to Mrs. Arora first & then to Aparna. Mrs. Arora became so grateful by this small gesture, that she advocated against her own bahu to give the trophy to Imlie. And somewhere I am glad that she showed how sometimes a small gesture is enough to remind society that you are beyond the labels you assign to them. Her words sway the judges as well (Waise be they were the biggest flippers, but surprisingly they flipped in majority, leaving AC in the dust 🤣) She leaves the stage saying that she feels Aparna is actually lucky to get a bahu like Imlie & that she was genuinely jealous. So today, the Tripathi's argument of log kya kahenge has been proved moot point. Matlab we solely misunderstood the reason behind BBC being Imlie winning over the Tripathis, it was instead used as a vehicle to prove to the society that being a bahu is taking care of your in-laws like family & where you come from does not factor into that as long as your have the right intentions and willingness to consider them your family. Imlie ko trophy mil gayi (after the announcer had to pry that away from Prachi🤣) and Adi was called on stage to congratulate her. They both shared such a sweet moment on stage, where Adi asked her to raise her trophy the way he did for his press award as well. That was really well done. When asked to give a speech, Imlie initially just thanked the presenter, but when chided by Prachi on being grateful that she was given this prize as almost daya, she used that opportunit to tell her, the society, the T's and even us as to why she has kept quiet all this time.
Imlie's monologue was beautifully explained where she said that had she voluntarily come to the city to work, she would have actually been grateful & owned the tag of a naukrani. But she had come to the city as Aditya's wife. Despite everything, she wanted to nibhao this rishta with her complete dedication. But the way people reacted after finding out the truth and made her family the laughing stock of the society, she wanted to use BBC as a way to give her family back their name & respect. The trophy is not what matters to her, all she wants is that that T's accept her wholeheartedly. The whole time we could see Aparna & the T's realizing the meaning of her words, but also that they have no standing left to reject her. So they walk off from there, led by Aparna, just to prove a point - that they are still mad at her, despite everything.
Aparna's turmoil today was palpable. Her staunchest reason of being against Imlie was decimated today by Imlie's acceptance into the very society that taunted her in being a naukrani. Now Aparna no longer has that defense to use in being against Adi & Imlie's relationship. Now we have to see how long she remains angry at both of them for giving the family dhoka, especially after the kaand that AC pulls😆
Anyway, after all the Jr T's congratulate Imlie on her win (Arham was fumbling even in the final cut 🤣) they go back home assuring Imlie that they will convince the Sr. T's. On reaching home, Imlie takes out honey for Aparna, keeping the trophy aside. Finally we get Adi & Imlie having a conversation on her win. Adi reminds Imlie of what she did the last time his mother had requested honey. How he used to be upset at her antics as he felt that she dis stupid stuff for no reason. But now he understands that her actions then and now have the same intention behind them - her doing anything for him and his family's happiness. He wants Imlie to show Aparna the trophy to remind her of just that, as the family seemed to have forgotten what she has done for them.
During their conversation, Adi gets a call from his editor saheb (Oh how we missed him. Also today he proved that Adi is very much still employed and has been working all this while as well while being his wife's chiraiyyagurlj during BBC. Kya multi tasker nikle humare Adi. Go Babusaheb😆) Editor saheb warns that Adi's expose on the terrorist cell is getting the office some dangerous calls, so Adi has to be careful. Adi assures him that he is safe at home (again Adi's overconfidence at it's peak). Imlie questions about it, to which Adi responds that yeh to roz ka hai. Adi said that he is not scared of terrorists or gunde, but instead is more scared of his mom. Matlab itne din toh humne Aparna ko sirf evil or diabolical bulaya tha, yahaan pe toh Adi ne khud Aparna ko terrorists or gundon se bhi darawana kaha🤣
Anyway, we get a scene at BS's office where some gunde ransack the place and take down Adi's details from his employee file. We ae then taken to the C's house, where AC takes out all the frustration of losing to Imlie in bhadkaoing MC against Imlie & trying to put the idea into her head that Imlie has phasaoed Adi because he was involved with Malini as Meethi's revenge for not being able to hold on to DC. Matlab imagine the amount of intelligence she is according both Meethi & Imlie to carry out such a diabolical plan. Like they say, people assume that the world is exactly how they themselves are, so AC was projecting her tendencies to Meethi & Imlie to manipulate MC. Whether it worked or not, we will have to see, but if MC believes her mother's words about Meethi, then really her entire cry fest at PD would come to naught (right now it is still at single digit levels).
The precap shows that Adi has been kidnapped by AC herself (We did not see that coming did we😆) Matlab by the looks of it, Adi's NDE has been planned by AC (original mein she had planned one for Imlie, but yahaan toh Adi hi toh ITV ki heroine hai😆). It looks like he will be saved by his Imeliya to get her accepted by the the Sr. T's. Bring on the popcorn, as it looks like we are in for a roller coaster ride this week.😆
