I liked the epi despite all the cliche cooking contest.

A confident Imlie Tripathi is such a sight to behold. For so long, Imlie could not claim her real identity of being Mrs. Imlie Aditya Tripathi. But now with the truth out in front of the entire world, she never hesitates to claim it with pride. Just the ability to do so has infused Imlie with pride & self confidence.

I loved the brief Adi-Imlie scene about the shaadi ka joda. Now that Adi loves her, he feels the pain of her trauma acutely. Hence he offers her to buy a new shaadi ka joda. But Imlie is a person who finds happiness even in darkest if times. Yes the shaadi ka joda has bad painful memories attached but it was something she wore when she got bound to the now love if her life. So it has emotional value as well. She wants to wear that only to bolster her himmat & do her very best in the competition. Adi is left looking with awe at his Jhalli.

Imlu-Pallu are the sweetest sis-in-laws. I love how Pallu actively bolsters Imlie's confidence & gives her support. These are true sisters in the making.

I really loved Imlie's confident entry in the event venue. And then we got the best scene of the epi between Aparna-Imlie. I think this is the first time everyone from the Ts have seen Imlie in her full suhagan look. Yes she does wear MS & Sindoor but they never saw her in a full blown married woman look. So her look gave Aparna a pause & then she recalled that Imlie had worn the same saree during AM wedding. She has casted Imlie as the villain of the piece so of course she twists it into something negative. She taunts Imlie about wearing it in AM's wedding to try to jamao her haq but Imlie politely reminds her that she had actually given up her haq that day. This made Aparna recall that Imlie herself had given her sindoor as a gift to AM & she becomes overwhelmed with all the conflicting feelings that emerged with that recall. For a moment it hit her hard what monumental thing Imlie had actually done when she gave up her Suhag to Didi. All this while they have been accusing Imlie of snatching Adi away from Didi in their denial & anger. But now as time passes & they find out such things it will become clearer to them how much Imlie have up for AM relationship.

Imlie tells her simply that she now only wants to earn her haq & try to win the competition for her. I loved that she took Aparna's aashirwad before going to her cooking station. Our fav Chiraiyya Girl arrived with his team to cheer on for his Jhalli.

We got the announcement of Mrs. Dev Chaturvedis wife being a special guest judge. Wow man this lady has built her life around that loser Dev & has no other identity other than being his wife. No wonder she has stuck to this relationship as it is the only thing in life which gives validation to her superiority complex. AC is so velli & petty that she herself called the event organiser to be called as a guest judge. Matlab how low can you go to take some petty revenge. You are only making a joker of yourself.

AC announces the rules main one being that the dish should be non-Indian. Aparna looked at Adi as soon as AC showed up to blame him that they are facing humiliation from AC only because of his zidd to be with Imlie. She really has forgotten that AC has never needed a reason to insult the Ts since even before Imlie came into their lives. She has been doing it since day 1.

Bechari Pallu got disqualified for giving Imlie her aata when Imlie's got wasted. Imlie was lost for nearly 10 mins & Adi gave her the you will be fine look to give her honsla. Finally she decided to make a version of Moti Roti topped with veggies.

The judges had a blind tasting & felt that Imlie's dish was the best. Even AC ate her dish with great satisfaction. But the look on her face when she saw that it was Imlie's dish that she enjoyed was hilarious.

Tomorrow we will see her trying to disqualify Imlie on some unfair grounds. Well looks like the competition was already rigged to not let Imlie win so I don't care if Imlie doesn't end up winning. That would be a hollow victory for AC anyway because everyone knew that Imlie's was the best dish & deserves to win. But let's see whether Imlie or her Chiraiyya Girl speaks up against the cheating.

After the pic that badke kaka posted, I really hope there are some good Adi Imilie scenes leading up to her planning the whole act 😆 that would be so cute 😆

Ab yeh competition will go on until the end of this week looks like. Considering Didi ko SS dena padega toh they will do the same thing and interject. As long as Imlie is talking back to the aunties I can digest the entire thing 😆. Other than that pretty much skipping everything over.

The change in Imlie from the one in Aparna’s flashback to the one in front of her was so stark today. A welcome change.

While getting the Tripathis to acknowledge them as a couple might take a bit longer, they’re not stopping Imlie from announcing it to the world that she is a Tripathi and that in itself is a war they’ve won. Internal acceptance toh aa hi jaayegi.

Not that we needed reminding but AC today showed where Malini gets her useless traits from. Anu walked into an audience after being announced as Dev’s wife. Like she has no identity beyond being called Dev’s wife. The man who cheated on her and left the other woman pregnant. Bas ghut ghut ke khud jiyo aur doosron ko bhi ghut ghut ke jeene pe majboor kar do. No wonder Didi is going around waxing eloquently about her “difficult” “feelings”

I don't think that they doubted that Adi-Imlie have gotten married after AM Shaadi. It was more like Adi-Imlie was a forced marriage hence illegal hence not valid. And later Imlie took advantage of staying with them to lure Adi to her after he got married to Didi. That is my understanding.

Otherwise they would have at least believed Adi's claim of being in love with Imlie. But this also they have denied. So if he doesn't love her then why would he marry her after AM wedding?!

But today when she recalled that yes it was Imlie who had actually given her PD sindoor during AM wedding it hit Aparna hard that Imlie had actually given up what they were accusing her of trying to snatch- the haq of being Adi's wife. Whether their marriage was legal or illegal but the marriage did happen & she actually was his wife & still gave up her claim on her husband. Haan mera bhi yehi khayal hai for most part i was just thinking on another track but then it makes no sense and would just be gross so nope.. cancel that *apologies*😆 i guess it was more as you said it hit aparna as final Nail in the coffin where she just cannot be in denial anymore caz ab toh khudse shaadi ka jaoda bhi dekh liya as the other day her objection was they haven't seen it and even after table tod shaadi she was like na main nahi maanti but ab woh bhi hai along with actual dolled up bahu as suhagan toh she cannot deny it anymore for too long..

I was & when AC claimed to donate her time. I mean woman you yourself made the effort to call up the event organiser of a small middle class society event to be invited as a guest judge. So with what pride you are claiming being generous with your time.delusions and lies are in their khoon khud bheek maang ke they act noble and all Higher than thou when reality is they are maangte log as anika would say😆

Yes how she knows that Imlie is participating in their society ka social event is a mystery. May be she still has that photographer spy keeping an eye on the Ts. Waise bhi iski life main toh koi aur kaam dhanda hai nahi except taking petty vengeance from people who according to her are very inferior. yup so much for idc about chote log but in relaity my entire existence is caz of my petty attention seeking sadism.. like T's and adilie legit be minding their own business but this woman and her beti are like KYON? humein ATTENTION DOOOOO.. LOOK AT US😆Sahi Naam rakha hai LOSERVEDIS.

I hope ki yaha bhi fail hi ho AC when she can't refute their valid logical points against the disqualification. Muh ki hi khayegi.

Have to say from whatever i have seen on social media the furore over this cliched track and ppl boycotting it😆 the actual epis over the last two days have been a good watch overall!

NM, Lodestar, you both have wonderful conversations during my night and I got used to reading your discussions first thing in the morning. 🤗

Just looked at Sumbul’s picture in the dance costume with badke kaka. As we all know Imlie is going to dance for both Radha and Krishna, alone. Since they are trying to take T’s down the memory lane so that they can connect the dots, does Imlie dancing both the roles signify how Imlie holded on to her marriage all by herself, till Adi realized and they became a team..

Haha yes, I’ve also noticed the general tendency of people to blindly bash this bahu competition track simply over a surface perception of cliche rather than actually trying to evaluate it on the basis of how it’s being executed. The two epis so far have both been good and going as per my expectations.

Social media waalon ki toh puraani aadat hai to go off half cocked to lagaao naare and morche about anything that doesn’t immediately fit their bookish visions of “progression”😆…..sabse bada cliche toh aajkal woh log hain who find progression in token “feminist” bhaashans and write off a show or character over a bahu competition 😆

I toh am liking how they aren’t showing it in the typical loud manner of ITV. It’s just a simple sa competition that can happen for any age or peer group. Ispe feminist morche nikaalne ka tukk I don’t get 😆….the girls are also just treating it as a fun thing. Aise nahin hai ki family khatam ho jayegi agar best bahu trophy nahin jeeti😆…..and obviously the makers are showing notable character interactions and progression along the way too so I think that’s good enough for now 🤷‍♀️

Maybe people are upset cuz they thought is waqt romance milega and saas bahu patch up chal raha hai instead 🤷‍♀️😂…..but I always liked Imlie-Aparna together so I guess Mujhe is saas bahu ka roothna manaana bhi interesting lag raha hai….especially with a determined Imlie being back too 👍🏼

@bold: Yep exactly. The battle is already half won when Imlie has confidently started owning her identity as Imlie Tripathi. Finally all the ZILLION times off late that Adi has been calling her Imlie Tripathi, Mrs Tripathi have sunk in for her too 😆….she’s started owning this name….Babusahib ki mehnat thodi toh safal hui 😆…

She’s only been “Imlie from Pagdandiya” for so long….and now she finally gets to own the last name she got through marriage.

As for AC….lol yes good point about how she’s built her identity around being Dev’s wife. No wonder Didi also doesn’t know how to think beyond all this. Aadmi se cling karo puri zindagi to define yourself by him no matter how toxic the marriage 🤷‍♀️. Such “modernity”, much wow.

I wanna add i also felt it almost gave aparna a Clarification in the sense that when they say they were married before than yeah they probably were which means Imlie ne nahi cheena caz until now they were refusing to believe that truth and were trying to paint it as at some point later they got married caz adi got swayed even though they did tell them the truth they had their doubts or is it me thinking too much??

So my understanding of that bit was that Aparna does already understand Adi-Imlie got married in PD before AM shaadi. But she doesn’t want to consider woh PD waali shaadi valid. And the fact that Adi later willingly married Malini publicly makes her feel THAT was the legit shaadi and Imlie kept trying to lure Adi to herself 🤷‍♀️😆….so Aparna still feels that Imlie has phasaaoed Adi otherwise he was happy with Malini 😆….she’s chosen to zone out the details of the truth that she doesn’t want to accept.

Toh when this haq waali baat got brought up yesterday, what it clarified for Aparna was that Imlie did indeed willingly step back from her haq and literally handed it over to Malini…..she will gradually start to get more reminders of the many times that Imlie stepped back, never asked for her rights and infact actively tried to support the AM shaadi…..she can see sacchaai in Imlie’s eyes….it will just take time to cut though her prejudices and anger.

Part of Aparna’s mental block also is that she feels Imlie took Malini ka Haq. Kinda similar to how Adi used to accuse Imlie in the early days of trying to take Malini’s place 😆…..He used to take any general good thing Imlie did also as a sign that she is trying to make her place in the house or trying to take Malini’s place. Aparna is doing another version of that. They have to make all the characters go through their cycle of Malini worship and defensiveness over feeling threatened by Imlie ki goodness as if it will impact their Malini bhakti 😆….Adi ka woh cycle is done with. Ab Aparna ki baari chal rahi hai. And she’s a far bigger blind Malini bhakt than Adi ever was 😆….
