Masterchef Imaliya

The competitive spirit heated up further today😆.....with round 1 of best bahu competition i.e. the Cooking round😆

I'll just repeat again that this entire competition track has added new fire into Imlie after many days....it's so nice to see the RESILIENT Imlie back again standing up for herself in every scene no matter who says what to her......Aparna's taunt to her about her shaadi ki sari made her feel sad but Imlie still held on....and reassured Pankaj that she won't even give anyone a chance to malign her or let the family down.....just the positive spirit with which she talked about how she will work very hard and make something that everyone will love.....aww this girl 🤗

And it's SO lovely to finally see some natural girl bonding in the show for Imlie....she's clicked with Pallavi big time and their scenes come out very sweetly in terms of both of them genuinely caring for each other, wanting to motivate each other, each hoping for the other's win.....aww😆.....Rupi di toh bas side pe khadi kaafi baar token statements hi karti reh gayi hain.....Pallavi seems to be able to put her money where her mouth is....lol sirf baaton ki sher nahin, kar ke dikhaati hai Imlie ka honsla buland.

Loved the little Adi-Imlie scene where he feels bad that she's being taunted about her shaadi ka joda so he offers to buy her a new one to wear for the competition. Imlie refuses....telling him that wearing a new outfit may make her LOOK like a bride but she won't be able to FEEL like one.....she wants to wear her original outfit - the one she actually got married in.....all the good and bad memories associated with that have become her himmat to get her through everything....and she never wants to leave that behind.....this girl, yaar🤗.....otherwordly hi hai.....no wonder Adi also just keeps watching her in awe all emotionally😆

After this, the action shifted to the cooking competition venue😆.....Aparna all apprehensive over being taunted by society ladies about her "naukraani bahu".....but apni Imaliya makes ekdum rockstar waali entry complete with her PD wala bg score👏😆......LOVED LOVED LOVED the confidence in her walk as she walked over with a "Jai Sita Maiyya ki"......and she looked soooo pretty in her shaadi waali sari again.....that look always suits her.....and then ofcourse aaj kal toh alag hi chamak hai in the confidence with which she says that she is "Imlie Tripathi"👏😆.....reminding society ki catty aunty ki naam yaad kar lo, aur saath mein thodi tameez bhi seekh lo😆......Imaliya in full mood to bajaao these loser log....yay......haha

Then we got a little saas-bahu poignant moment.....Aparna suddenly realized that Imlie worse this exact same outfit at the AM shaadi too.....so her first reaction was to wonder if Imlie wahaan haq jamaane aayi thi apne shaadi ke jode mein....so Imlie clarifies to her ki no, infact maine toh us din khud hi apna haq chhod diya tha😆.....and Aparna remembered that it was indeed IMLIE who literally HANDED OVER her sindoor to be put into Malini's maang😆.....important reminder for Aparna today.....so even in the guise of this bahu competition, makers are managing to join the dots of the past for Aparna too as she remembers events and gets clarifications from Imlie about what happened when and why.

Aparna looked quite overwhelmed by all that Imlie was telling her even as she was trying to keep herself aloof.....in particular the moment when Imlie took her aashirwaad really left Aparna taken aback for a bit😆.....and she was just left staring after Imlie.....haha

The actual cooking competition bit was a bit slow even as AC ji pahunch gayi to do her usual bakwaas tamasha.....lol but we got some good bits of Imlie-Pallavi supporting each other, Babusahib also standing there like a literal chattaan making sure to convey his silent support for his dear wifey😆.....Rupi expressed some doubt ki Imlie kaise manage karegi toh Babusahib ne ATAL hokar bol diya ki jeetegi toh Imlie hi😆......no one has seen Imlie make her way through impossible circumstances like he has😆

Aww it was sweet how Pallo tried to help Imlie at her own cost and bechaari disqualify hogayi thanks to loser AC.....but still cheerfully kept Imlie's spirits up ki ab tum hi jeet ke laao trophy for Tripathi family.....haha....finally Imlie ke dimaag ka bulabwa jal gaya and banaa liya kuch Moti Roti inspired hi......lol it looked to me like she made some dough by adding vegetables and uska base banaa ke upar bhi koi sabji ka layer daal diya as a topping.....desi pizza type😆

LOL@ all the judges loving the UNIQUE FLAVOR of Imlie's dish and that being an instant standout for them.....lol AC bhi chatkaare lekar khaa gayi cuz she had a blindfold on🤣.....but baad mein as usual when she realized Imlie ki dish hai, she will want to disqualify it. So dekhte hain kal kaise bachegi Imlie is sab se.

How sweet was the PROUD smile on Adi's face when the judges were raving about Imlie's dish? Aww😆.....especially when they talked about how aisa flavor kahin nahin khaaya.....lol Adi ko already pata hai ki Imlie ka har flavor unique hi hota hai😆

Nice epi today....cherry on the icing ofcourse being no Didi😎😆......sab kuch automatically better ho jaata hai phir😆

The 2nd half was too slow but I still liked and enjoyed the episode caz on surface it is a cooking competition but it is not just that there is so much going underneath it.. like aparna getting clarity like.imloe getting her lost confidence back and being able to own up her Naam and be Imlie Tripathi .. the girls uplifting each other and most 8f all adi being her Chattan as you said his sheer confidence and yakeen ke koi kuch bhi kar le imlie ko na haha sakta and the Pride ke my Girl is The Best. The way he was cheering her and supporting her from the stands being her actual wala Cheerleader calming her nerves telling her to just have confidence and she got it.matlab they didn't talk yet all that was communicated nicely his irritation with AC and aur toh aur even Aparna was pissed with AC and how aayi toh imlie ke liye hai

I adored the little bit of adi imlie it had such right feel with adi wanting to buy her a new outfit and her being nope I understand your sentiment but I won't feel like suhagan it is mine and feel aone se hi aata hai mann this Girl..I just wanted to hug her..Her positivity was on kuch aur hi level aaj and I am living how she isn't letting anything bog her down now.. even when aparna taunted her initially she told papa T how she wouldn't let anything malign their names afterall this is all about regaining the lost glory and izzat and I am confident apni Imelia will do it.why do I feel last round main saasumaa will end up cheering for bahu real hard as it is only first competition and a bit of that hard exterior has cracked. Aparna was actually overwhelmed and went into wow 😳 zone with imlie reminding her how she toh gave everything up and then her simple sa yeh aone haq and aapki izzat ke liye hai toh asshirwaad she genuinly seemed shook ke kya ho gaya and kya bol gayi and just hairaan hooing at imlie ki himmat in a good way .. I guess the gravity of the situation and what Imlie has suffered till now only hit her when she actually put it so bluntly in such a casual manner it was like she actually felt what imlie might have in that moment and that give aparna the chills..though she then quickly pulled herself back together.

She did looked agitated and looking at adi for help in precap too and am sure apne babusahib will mange to save imlie from disqualification

Stand out moments for me was imlie giving those looks to AC..telling Prachi to shut her mouth and best of all Imlie making that Grand ENTRY with her OrIGINAL PD wali Imlie theme music and introducing herself As Imlie Tripathi..

Her little scene with SM was adorable too and ofcoirse it goes without saying I lived the poignancy of the tiniest adi imlie scene

As I was saying pehle bhi her shaadi ka joda brings a whole new zeal to her imlie becomes the Patakkha she is and it was proved again today

Pallavi and imlie are just such a precious bond🧿❤❤ the way pallavi kept cheering imlie on genuinly feels happy for her and tells her ab usko karna hai for fam and how she supports imlie now that is what true sister does..again so glad pallavi happened and I hope they never ruin this..agar imlie ki koi asli behan hai toh woh pallavi hai. Sorry rupi your tokenisms are a waste..

Rofl at high society ki chairman Mrs C being so velli toh stalk choti choti societies waale and keeping tabs .. and then inviting herself to donate her time rofl whatever so much for bade shabd but desperation it is..and rofl who even told her imlie was participating in first place lol..kuch bhi..as inoie said kar le kuch bhi khayegi muh ki hai

The whole time Aparna was just watching Imlie in dazed awe😆....especially in this last cap here where she's watching Imlie like she can't even recognize this new avatar of hers😆....adjustment period chal raha hai sasumaa ka😆

Awww lovely analysis AY 🤗🤗 I loved the chotu sa Adi Imilie scene - Adi keeping his promise of being his jhalli’s cheer leader was just 🤗.

Can I just say I love Imlie and Pallavi together. They are the best sisters in law ever 🤗I am also loving that they are using this track to make Apu remember and introspect the past. You could see that she is starting to melt a bit and she definitely did not like it when Anu was targeting imlie unnecessarily even though her words said otherwise. Ritu does great with those expressions.

Love love love that Imlie is so confidently introducing herself as Imlie Tripathi and she even got a name board that said Mrs Imilie Tripathi

Adi all proud of his Imilie and her unique dish with his favorite moti roti- ha ha I also liked how the siblings were standing together and exchanging expressions when Anu was ranting 😆

This little portion.....so well directed and fab acting from both Ritu and ST.....you could literally see the whole play of emotion on Aparna's face....she's confused initially when Imlie walks over to her, then she's totally taken aback when Imlie touches her feet.....and after that she's just left staring searchingly at Imlie's face like she's just not being able to figure her out😆.......all of this was conveyed so well in this bit.....these two make for an adorable saas-bahu waise regardless of the current venomous things being said.....so much layering in the way their eyes also speak to each other👏

The very fact that Aparna is still trying to figure Imlie out says a lot in of itself😆

Aww thanks, Sandy🤗.....I'm so enjoying this little shift towards showing this version of Imlie.....LONG OVERDUE.....the way she's just doing everything apne dum pe, apne resolve se.....so heartening to get to see this after so long🤗

Imlie-Pallavi are literally coming across as ideal sisters in law.....waise toh Imlie had managed to establish her bonds with everyone even when they didn't know she was their bahu/SIL, but now with Pallavi, it's like that clean slate wala feel ki she literally knew Imlie to be her SIL from the time she entered this house as a bahu herself....toh almost similar new bahus wala feel mil raha hai dono ko saath mein in a sense.....haha the friendly support just feels so natural rather than put on.....bas bolne ko nahin chadhaate ek dusre ko and she's not condescending like a certain someone either.

LOL@ junior Ts exchanging looks seeing AC ki harkatein😆.....it was also funny how Aparna kept turning back to look at Adi accusingly like AC doing all this is his fault only ki woh Imlie ko le aaya as his wife🤣

I'm really looking forward to the dance competition now.....haha apni Imaliya toh chhaa rahi hai ekdum😎

Do you think we'll be lucky enough to get a follow up scene of Adi talking to Imlie about the dish she's made? 😆.....or is that too much expectation? 😆

I love them bas.. there is so much confusion in aparna's head and it is reflecting on her face. She is actually struggling hard and it shows .. as insaif in above post too she was just so shocked and it was like the gravity hit ear only then.. she just cannot deny imlie ki sachaai with which she says the facts.. she can try hard to negate her words but nahi ho raha ab..which is why her disappointment ke disqualify ho.gaye caz otherwise toh she should be happy na but nahi it is like in the course of it she has started expecting and wanting ke jeete imlie hi even though she won't show it directly. Loved loved loved this bit so much and yes my apu imli shipper heart was happy with the softening and the dynamic constantly evolving..

Yes aparna wants to know the truth she definately wants more details but she is too scared to ask kind of ke kya milega as it the tidbits she gets leave her more hurt it is too much to keep up ..but there definately is curiosity which is why her instant wow so this is your shaadi ka joda.

Did I mention the Moti Roti? Damn it in my excitement I forgot to mention the most important thing..that is the return of a modified version of MOTI ROTI 🥳 adi ka proud face when that got praised like duh who are you telling this too I know exactly how good and unique it is.. imlie ne nice Desi pizza twist dia hai usse and cha gayi ek dum.

Also I was too amused ke sirf adi aaya apni biwi ko cheer karne and lol nish as bonus but other than that nobody showed up haha

Yes I do think we will get a follow up scene- I think everyone will want to taste her food and we might get a chotu sa scene in all of that.

Yes there was a name plate and our Imlie’s was standing so proudly behind it I am also liking these light hearted episodes but the good part is they are not forgetting why imlie is doing all of this in the first place by making Apu remember what imlie did for them in the past and bringing is small nuances in Apu’s demeanor.

Word about Imlie pallavi man they infuse such warmth and I also love how imlie has started calling her pallavi bhabhi too instead of canteen didi..I was going aww right from.statt at how pallavi was like whatever I sm just going for.fun but you are winning it and you have too and then offering imlie ke sab dekh ke karna they cannot stop her from that but imlie apni honest bachi hai she just needs verbal hosla no cheating even though pallavi had the bestets intentions.. and yes the MOST I am LOVING is that IMLIE gets to be THE STAR 🌟 she finally gets to shine and dikaho sabko what she is ..she doesn't need kisi ka.bhi.supprt bas SM is kaafi and baaki woh khud sambhal legi kaise bhi..
