I know this will be an unpopular opinion, 😅 but what was worst was Aparna insulting Imlie in the pretense of showing 'concern' for Imlie.

That is level 2 toxicity.

Precap looked positive, Imlie was her cheerful, fight mode, being direct! I just love her!!

Aparna ki insults ki toli for imlu was disgusting and just too much for me to tolerate yet again 🤢. Poor imlu aur kitna rulaayengi bechari ko aur uski so called badi behen pass hoke ye sab sunke bhi kuch bhi nahi bol rahi hai😭.

Ab aage mujhe kaunsi marriage hai legal ki fight dikh rahi hai. precap gives me hope that imlu has had enough and will have to fight equally ugly to get through to these people.

Baaki the insults honestly rolled of both Imlie & my back, they were so ghisi piti. Adi could have said more, I agree, but that was neither the time nor place, as his first and last concern was to show the thinking of the society to the family & make them understand that they are placing these people's opinions over their son's happiness. His entire purpose was to let the world know that Imlie is his first wife & Malini and him are no longer together (almost like he is not even acknowledging their marriage😆).

Seeing Imlie is harder for us to watch that it is for her, IMO. She has steeled herself to listen to all this, as her support to Adi when he introduced her as his wife just made her feel so proud. That little expression of hers made me feel like she felt that to hear this from him makes everything else worth it. I do wish they had shown him go after her rather than DD, but somewhere that convo was also needed to give Malini a reality check. Did she get it - Nope. Is that Adi's fault - Nope again.

Adi does look like he is focused on getting Imlie, but his perspective is that to fight with the ghatiya soch, only brute force will work, which to an extent it is. Had Adi not done what he did, when the truth comes out it would have looked more like an EMA rather than what it actually is - that Imlie is the first wife. I am glad that Adi took a stand and I guarantee you that aaj jo kasar usne chodi hai, some epis later he is going to make sure to give it back tenfold.

But I get your frustration, but more than me there is someone else who will understand your point much better. Flowerji?😆

Best part of episode was mahaan didi finally confessing that she was unable to do anything for Imlie because of her self respectless love for Adi. Ugh...the man asked her why she came? friendzoned her again, wanted to register his marriage with Imlie after their divorce and she walks away thinking she is unable to divorce him. The feminist in me is crying out in pain. I need the weekend to cool off.

:) needed this positive spin on things. I did not enjoy most of the episode - maybe my expectations need to be adjusted. but thanks :) your response and take on the episode did make me feel a better about it :)

I remember an enraged adi yelling at ac and malini more in that one episode in the past when ac used malini to bring her to their house to do tamasha😭. He did not even love her then. Just like you I expected a dressing down of his mom and society ladies for insulting his wife. But he was just standing looking bechara and crying silently. Yes saath and pyaar was missing. It looks like he only wants her for himself. Bad writing for this scene.

Flowerji - my friend - I know you and I react a bit similarly to episodes. I'm not trying to be picky man...I want to enjoy the show fully - what do they say - dil kolke - why do makers give hope partially and then fall flat....just be consistent and maintain continuity - in the show. Is that too much to ask? The show used to be perfect in this regard. :(

I think Adi's stance was justified. He was concerned for Pallavi's function. Looked like he didnt wanna create a big drama out of it. But yea, he was also tired trying to reason I felt. That lone tear broke my heart💔
