Seeing episode today made me realize the creatives do not want me to enjoy episodes fully. They throw carrots and then don't follow through. They told me through the week - that Adi loves Imlie so much and he was going to care a damn about everyone else and stand by her. Ok I believed them. Today, He persuaded her to attend the function....stood by chivalrously while every Tom Dick and Harry abused his wife with no protest whatsover and when the wife he has been claiming as his ran away in tears - followed his bff to ask her to speak to his parents for Adilie approval. Whats does all this tell me - Adi is selfish and more concerned with 'getting Imlie' than being with her and caring for her. It shows me that Imlie being abused - did not affect him in the manner it should have someone who loved her. So inspite of Adi and his grand declarations - I did not feel the love and saath. Disappointing episode.

In addition to Adi being quiet - even didi being quiet while her choti behen was being abused was further annoying.

Imlie standing helpless (I don't thinks she should be saying anything in this situation) - a fraction of her old self is torturous to watch.

Best part of episode was mahaan didi finally confessing that she was unable to do anything for Imlie because of her self respectless love for Adi. Ugh...the man asked her why she came? friendzoned her again, wanted to register his marriage with Imlie after their divorce and she walks away thinking she is unable to divorce him. The feminist in me is crying out in pain. I need the weekend to cool off.

Episode was too bland today ..but there was some very meaningful dialogues from Adi ..

Apu understood that Adi doesn't love Malini ..still hoping forcefully even in the name of samaz me izzat he will give up ..Malini ka pati to Imlie felt like to hurt Imlie only.. though she called her naazayaz but looked like Ts started to realize that Adi actually loves Imlie but " Naukrani " status of Imlie is too much for them to accept their marriage. she said samaj's opinion matters for them because they live in that and can't ignore it..

I so wanted Adi first go to Imlie and tell her " tum thik ho na ?? Hum aate hai " then goes behind DD to clarify things . Adi wants to register his marriage with Imlie after divorce but for that divorce ko to speed up Karo .

Tell family that divorce is mutual was very good move by Adi 😆 family's unnecessary try to save his marriage will end that way ..he understood that Apu called M and told her that he wants her to come in function and so cleared it that he didn't tell anyone to call her😆 BS should not use KC there because he is not sure yet about her relationship with KC yet. It was not needed ..

I thought KC will show up there to pick up 🌚 but nahi aaya😆 badaa hurt ho gayaa hai 😆

In precap , Imlie looked happy chirpy confedent so we might get Adilie scene ..let's hope good Wala .

ST got very less dialogues today too but her acting is superb without dialogue even .. hurt expressions were amazing..

I felt Gash looked disinterested today in whole episode..

I have still not watched episode.. will come back after watching.. looks like a decent episode..

Aww PPak, I get your frustration and how. Today's episode while disappointing on multiple levels, gave me a few good surprises as well. Adi's repeated chop of DD, Aparna's inadvertent plea to Imlie showing that she still cares for her despite everything that happened and surprisingly watching Pallavi support Imlie and do what DD has never been able to do - stand up to her mother and tell her in no uncertain words that this is her family and it was her choice to marry in this family.

Baaki the insults honestly rolled of both Imlie & my back, they were so ghisi piti. Adi could have said more, I agree, but that was neither the time nor place, as his first and last concern was to show the thinking of the society to the family & make them understand that they are placing these people's opinions over their son's happiness. His entire purpose was to let the world know that Imlie is his first wife & Malini and him are no longer together (almost like he is not even acknowledging their marriage😆).

Seeing Imlie is harder for us to watch that it is for her, IMO. She has steeled herself to listen to all this, as her support to Adi when he introduced her as his wife just made her feel so proud. That little expression of hers made me feel like she felt that to hear this from him makes everything else worth it. I do wish they had shown him go after her rather than DD, but somewhere that convo was also needed to give Malini a reality check. Did she get it - Nope. Is that Adi's fault - Nope again.

Adi does look like he is focused on getting Imlie, but his perspective is that to fight with the ghatiya soch, only brute force will work, which to an extent it is. Had Adi not done what he did, when the truth comes out it would have looked more like an EMA rather than what it actually is - that Imlie is the first wife. I am glad that Adi took a stand and I guarantee you that aaj jo kasar usne chodi hai, some epis later he is going to make sure to give it back tenfold.

But I get your frustration, but more than me there is someone else who will understand your point much better. Flowerji?😆
