Adi saw her beating herself up and when he sat down, he noticed that she was hurting bad, still upset over the previous day's events. his tone changed when he asked her what is wrong? Imlie shared her thoughts on truth, being spoken in Eng vs the vernacular... this was a good scene. What was missing was how/when did Imlie get the MS from? When did Adi tie that? Did Imlie go to college or was it just random .. these little things bother me..

Adi has always been selfish when it came to his needs.. even in PD 2, he was hounding Imlie to return, without stating his intentions.... the man will go to any lengths to keep her at his side. Imlie leaving Adi for PD right now is not a good idea as they have many issues to sort with his family.

Yeah I agree, we were all anxious to see how she got the new MS and all. But at this point of their relationship dont you think its very trivial? They have come this far, so much going on in their lives, he must have learned to stop being selfish by now. I know he literally ceases to exist if she leaves him, but that should be his secondary concern. If he loves her more than himself (which he does actually), he was supposed to be more worried about her mental state. I mean c'mon shes just 19, and she alone had to face such vicious comments from his mom, even he was not able to process the whole thing... I think it was just bad writing..there should have been more back to back conversation between them for us to understand where they are standing right now. 😅

Tripathis r gonna be so mad as Imlies good deeds r gonna be thrown at them every step of the way.. abhi no one knows she saved Rupi from suicide.. She made peace between Aditya and Malini with Tawa poem.. Aditya ki jaan toh kab se bachcha hi rahi hai.. yeh sab jab bahar aayega na tab majaa aayega..

The writers are deliberately showing the T's as being bothered about NKK (naam, khoon, khandaan) all of a sudden.. It was subtle earlier.. and it is open. they are good people inherently just that a change is required on their mindset, which is the most difficult task. This is for TRP I feel.. all the words n actions by the T's.

They are right now accusing anyone and anything asosciated with Imlie and same with her amma too. They have heard parts of the story but never the full truth. Malini again conveniently gave parts of the truth but not the full sach.

Apu saw that she no longer has control over her son, he is his OWN MAN, own person. Imlie silently bore all of Anu's taunts for months together before giving her a strong reply. here I feel she will bear it for the most part but give a strong reply when pushed, keeping within her limits as bahu of the house.

Hi! A newbie here. Yes, you are absolutely correct. Also, one thing that is understated here is casteism. Apart from the class and rural factor, it is highly probable that Tripathis (who are Brahmins) would not like to have a bahu who does not belong to the same caste (remember, Chaturvedi are also Brahmins). Add on to this, is colorism (Imlie is not fair, when Malini is the ideal bahu material with fair skin and as uni professor). It is highly probable that Imli and Meethi belonged to the Adivasi communities (the parallel with Naxalites through Satyakam) and Tripathis would be the last ones to accept someone from the Adivasi communities as their bahu. In my mind, they are more worried about Imlie's status than that they hid their marriage for so long.

It's the depiction of reality, but still horrible to watch. Chaturvedis fade in front of the Tripathis.
