Well, DAMN once again😆.....bade dino baad Imlie waale aced the high voltage drama again👏😆.....execution mein itne dino se jhol chal raha hai, they finally got it right for a CRUCIAL episode....PHEW.....aaj kal toh humare itne mein paseene chhudaa ke rakhte hain yeh log😆
A few things form the crucial baseline of this story......the forced marriage in PD....the evolution of love....the perception of betrayal.....the fight for truth and justice.....and all these themes were touched upon in today's TABLE-TOD special😆.
Ek Anika thi jo humein khidkitod sikha gayi.....aur ab Babusahib has added tabletod to our lexicon going forward😆.
The STAR of the episode without a doubt was Aditya.....GM killed it today👏......matlab it was maa-bete ka face-off mainly but Adi was holding center court in many ways......he was in his simmering volcano mode from the moment he saw AC once again maligning Imlie by throwing the "saste gehne" at her feet.....usse pehle he had that moment of hurt when Aparna slapped him...he lowered his eyes in regret for a bit and poor Imlie was just closing her eyes in pain seeing him bear all this.......but AC ki bakwaas was enough to make him raise his eyes simmering with gussa again😆
Uske baad his trigger word of the day was DHOKA😆.....hearing his own parents accusing him of DHOKA flipped a switch inside him.....the way he turned to look at IMLIE in that moment....what a LOOK👏😆.....and phir pata nahin kahaan se idea aaya ki ab table tod ke mandap banaayenge aur phere lenge😆......I was both laughing at the transition and enjoying the popcorn melodrama😆......He walked over to Imlie with determination and put out his hand saying, "Chalo".....Imlie bechaari watching him with trepidation ki yeh sab kya hai Babusahib😆......peechhe se Aparna ke khoonkhaar looks🤣.....finally Adi took Imlie's hand with determination and walked over to start the phere......Imlie was mostly following him in a daze at this point.....lol
Then started the phere.....ok so I loved the envisioning of this from a visual/ideation basis.....Adi literally recapped their journey while taking those phere......after all the trolling of "jab hum pehli baar PD gaye the", they finally spared us that line this time😆.....instead, they used these phere as a juxtaposition.....Adi pointing out how he never gave sanctity to any of these rituals or the holy fire before.....but he wont' make that mistake now......LOL@ the family waale telling him side se ki abhi bhi mat maano is shaadi ko, it's illegal, sab bhool jaao🤣......bhai yeh part always cracks me up.....jisko bhi is shaadi ke baare mein pata chalta hai, first reaction hota hai ki mat maano, sab bhool jaao.....lol....but finally Adi said it DEFINITIVELY today......"NAHIN bhool sakte.....na hum....(then pausing to half-turn back towards Imlie)....aur na tum"......LOVED this bit.....SO well shot and enacted👏.....the weight and meaning of it coming through so clearly.....Adi's resolve has been solid for a while now but the way he threw down that marker definitively today that this shaadi is IT for him....he can never forget it and neither can Imlie.
Finally baat shaadi se pyar ki taraf bhi badhi.....Adi recapping that he tried his darnest to make Imlie leave him😆.....we very well remember, Babusahib.....haha your futile attempts......and then despite his best attempts, he fell in love with Imlie....."Humein Imlie se pyar ho gaya.....aur ab yeh pyar humaari zindagi ka sabse badaa sach hai......humara VISHWAAS hai.....humari HIMMAT hai"....she is his faith as well as his strength both now❤️.
The whole point of the table tod phere stunt was basically to give the Ts a demo of the REALITY of this relationship and the emotion behind it......lol yeah they didn't really get it at this point but Adi basically made the attempt to counter the DHOKA label....ki yeh dhoka nahin SACH hai.
Then Adi being like, "Bahut minnaton ke baad Imlie ne humein apnaya hai"....and I was like awww 😆......yes indeed, sabse badi jung yeh already lad chuka hai to manaao Imlie toh isliye he's like aap sab bhi maan jaao na ab PLEAJ😆....but Babusahib, abhi toh nayi jung ka aaghaaz hoga😆
Phir shuru huye Aparna ke sadme waale denials.....lol she got triggered by the word PYAR.....ki how can Adi fall in love with a naukraani.....lol again, might just be me but all of this was rolling off my back like chikna ghadaa😆......Aparna is in hyper denial mode very much like her son once was.....any excuse to deny the importance of Imlie in her life.....Adi tried to remind her that Imlie is not a naukraani and Aparna very well knows what Imlie means to this house.....but Aparna kept shaking her head in determined denial....said a lot about where all this is coming from......Adi as usual trying his hard truth stance in response.....bol diya ki Imlie ki pehchaan is IMLIE ADITYA KUMAR TRIPATHI😆.....as if that alone was going to melt his mom.....lol pher diya Mummyji ne havan pe paani and bol diya main phir bhi nahin maanti😆
The second part of this denial from Aparna and Pankaj is the need to cling to Malini😆.....how predictable cuz Didi Didi ke bina kahaan khaana khazam hona hota hai.....lol but yeah Aparna wants to cling to the delusion that Adi has given dhoka to Malini and fallen in love with random girl......lol also at Pankaj claiming ki teri wife Malini hai Imlie nahin.....live demo dekhne ke baad bhi Mummy-Papa in hard denial.....Didi ka jaadu sar chadh ke bolega😆
Aaj toh BK ka bhi bharosa hil gaya......lol despite all Adi explained, it's like baatein unke kaanon tak nahin pahunch rahi cuz Malini is so deeply established in their minds as the only wife.....Adi ne clearly bol bhi diya ki Imlie didn't pursue any married man, she was ALREADY married to him before he married Malini.....but it's all too much for people to compute right now I guess😆......still pretty sad to hear BK questioning Imlie ki maasoomiyat......aww....
Phir Aparna ne smash kar di Adi-Imlie ki photo.....lol again symbolism alert.....the cracks will form cuz of her now.....and Adi still had to keep explaining to everyone that if anyone made a mistake, it was HIM, not Imlie.....thank god he didn't add the token defenses of Malini here for once.....lol in fact we managed to get our bumper dialogue of him admitting he should have never married Malini😆
They also managed to hash out the fact ki Adi ne police complaint kyun nahin karvaayi if the marriage was forced on him.....and Adi admitted again that he felt frozen by the hit to his pride....he didn't know how to tell anyone ki uske saath aise zabardasti kar di gayi......lol
Baaki the little trio of shippers vis a vis junior Ts giving happy smiles watching the phere was amusing😆.....and Nishu showing up to do a token defense and no one asking him ki tujhe pehle se pata tha?😆
They ended it on Pankaj again claiming that Malini is Adi's wife.....lol toh iske jawaab mein toh lagta hai Adi bol dega ki not for long on paper either if that's what's tripping you all up😆
Precap seems more TRP bait type stuff......Aparna is going to be in this wala mode for a bit I guess.....gussa nikaalna hi hai Imlie pe and bakwaas karni hai.....I'm getting deja vu of the previous iteration of her doing this khoonkhaar mode too.....lol
Sad waise ki Imlie ke bhayaanak sapne sach ho rahe hain....I wanted to believe they were OTT but bacchi samajhdaar nikli hum sabse zyada aur samajh gayi duniya kaise palat-ti hai😆
Anyways, things are poised at an interesting point,......fab epi to round off the week.....round of applause for the team for the great execution 👏......GM aced it ofcourse and even without a word, ST's eyes spoke throughout 👏.....Imlie ka time next week aayega to drown in guilt again.....poor thing.....lol
