Her apology was worse than even her earlier tokenisms that we have seen, and that is saying something. Matlab she was manipulating Adi coz T family was not giving her ghaas, and somewhat succeeding in doing so by making him teary eyed (does not take our bahu much to cry anyway, but phir bhi, aansoon toh aaye). I actually was stunned that she let go of such a big opportunity to make herself mahaan. Matlab even token ke liye bhi agar bol deti ki "would sever all ties with my mom because she has now crossed the line", the T family wahin pe pighal jaati. Jo kuch bhi ho, they all had a good opinion about Malini, which was why Imlie was trying her best to get them to repent their behavior towards didi. But woh bhi nahi. Matlab jaise appne ne kaha, in the end also it was just "Koshish". No guarantees, no assertations, finally only a token "Koshish", jisse T family se bhi abhi nahi hui to "try" to tolerate her bakwaas anymore.
The Adilie scenes were so poignant and beautiful. Literally kamal ka phool in the keechad of didi's bakwaas and honestly they really give me the pheels when they go for just these beautiful unit building moments, where both actors shine in their roles and really deliver the chemistry. I know today Imlie had her "brain farts" (copyright from another thread on the forum, but perfectly fit what I also felt), but even then I don't think that the divorce is really going to make so much of a difference in Adilie's life. Adi ke liye the divorce is a token being done mainly for Malini to save face and come out of this without looking like she married a bigamist and for Imlie she is anyway playing the role of "Mrs. Tripathi" without being officially made one. Yahhan tak kheecha hai, thoda aur sahi. As for the truth, woh toh abhi baaki hai mere dost. Khushi manao that we got this much at this speed. I was reading the older episodes ke reviews, app logon ne tho predict kiya tha ki Adi ko pyaar ka realization 250-300 episodes ke pehle nahi hoga, so we are somewhat still on track.
BTW, AY please keep sharing your reviews. Really needed to see the silver lining in these dull episodes that we have been getting of late (last 2 episodes notwithstanding).
LOL at our initially predicted timeline of 200 epis for Adi ka love realization😆.....arey yeh show bahut slow chalta hai in general.....which is why I feel people who join the bandwagon recently develop too much expectation after binge-watching😆. Mere saath bhi hua tha cuz I'd binge-watched till the gunshot epi and uske baad jo BREAKS lage the story mein, I had to re-adjust my expectations again😆.
But I think we all did expect that truth won't be out before 200 epis minimum....toh uske aas paas hi chal rahi hai timeline....lol I'm surprised they showed Malini learning the truth before 200 epis....mujhe toh lag raha tha woh bhi 250 tak kheenchenge.....but ab lagta hai yeh final stretch of Ts finding out the truth is the one that will get dragged till around 200 or more😆.
Haha at you seeing through Didi ki nautankis today😆......hum toh pehle se hi keh rahe hain that everything she says or does is for tokenism....she had a 100 other opportunities to stick up for the Ts ka self-respect in front of her mom or refuse to allow her in-laws to be insulted everytime by her own mom.....but har baar bas tokenism mein baat tal jaati thi.....aur aaj bhi it was like she was just reading off a generic list about how she's brought so much unhappiness into Ts ki lives.....lol bechaargi checklist cross off ho rahi thi cuz she wanted to do the whole "I deserve this" drama to garner sympathy from Adi. When all this time, she has mostly defended her Mom's extreme actions under the guise of "she's just trying to protect me as her daughter" and "unke saath bhi bura hua".....lol
As Fary said, aaj bhi bas KOSHISH nikli Didi ke muh se.....lol itna sab hone ke baad bhi bas KOSHISH hai.....kuch karne jogi nahin yeh as we would say in Punjabi but dikhaana aise hai jaise bas yehi khadi hai sabke liye sochne ko😆.
Anyways, I already said yesterday that the apology was an afterthought.....lol she mainly came there to put on a brave face in front of Adi and show him she's happy about the divorce and is moving on and is "willing" to face so much beratement from his family😆.....so she achieved sympathy on the last point when she said "I deserve this" and Adi jumped to say ki no you don't and was apologizing on behalf of his family😆.
