Yes, the show actually moves pretty slowly, especially in terms of Adi-Imlie's development....you only realize this when you start watching in real time with expectations from each epi and most epis are filled with Didi nonsense or C family drama😆.

When I caught up to the epis in real time after the gunshot/ambulance scenes, I was fully expecting a BIG shift in the story going forward.....lol but they totally switched gears into showing Dev crying over learning Imlie is his daughter, then random PD themed party for Imlie😆, barely 2-3 token Adi-Imlie scenes and a random mall drama😆. That is when I realized ki yehi cycle hai show ka.....high points also don't bring huge shifts....and they always take two steps back even if one big thing happens😆. Ab toh bahut hadh tak aadat daal li hai humne.....😆

Reason we still stick around is kyunki slow hi sahi, sometimes diluted hi sahi.....Adi-Imlie's characterizations still have a soulful connect to pull you in as they navigate this convoluted journey.....lol they are the gems that still shine through a lot of haze in this story.

And yeh kar di aapne 100 takke ki baat.👏👍🏼😳 that is what it is that keeps us going and makes us sit through the other nonsense ab toh aadat si bai humein aise jeene ki...I can withstand all the atthyachaar too as long as they keep this going.. and I mean why talk in future tense we just seem to be coming out of one such biggggggg period of that just now and that too only about 25% so.i won't jinx it by speaking too soon

Another decent episode to start the week. After removing Sindoor and Magalsutra Malini to meet Adi and family, may be in the hope that Adi will see her without suhaag ki nishaan and he may feel bad or react to it, but Adi didn't even notice it till Aparna explicitly mentioned it and even then he was like ok. That is why I stopped reacting to precap or promo's of this show, they have a history of misleading precap and promo's, actual episode me alag hi feeling aati hai.

That long walk to tell the truth is so blah.. Even though I like seeing Adi and Imlie in the same frame, this is a stretch, they had a similar long walk scene on Imlie's bday also.. Hope they don't make it a ritual every year 😆

Loved Adi emotional, breakdown and Imlie supporting him, but I am hoping for 2 things tomorrow, provided they give continuation to Adi Imlie's scene. First, Adi clearly telling that even while being a good brother and son he can still proceed with the divorce and it is not just him but Malini also needs divorce and she doesn't deserve the delay. Second, Imlie confiding in him on everything related to his family, basically no more secrets. She should be his eyes and ears as she mixes with everyone but he stays aloof most of the time...

@bold: LOL yes, good point about that contrast. Didi will never admit it but she does everything for a reaction.....expectation toh hoga ki Adi will notice the removed sindoor/MS but Adi toh chhodo, IMLIE ne bhi nahin notice kiya🤣.....it was Aparna who first pointed it out.....lol

I've said this before also that sindoor/MS only took on meaning for Adi in Imlie's context.....Malini ke case mein these symbols never really registered much on him and they were just part of the obligation of marriage to him.....only in Imlie's case did he ever feel restlessness about her removing the sindoor/MS or himself crying when he had to remove them from her.

Haha the hoopla over the previous precap....ab toh mujhe bas hassi aati hai at the varied ways people always find to twist Adi's reactions into supposedly being "hung up" on Malini😆.....I knew itna hi hoga kuch that he will be feeling bad for her toh sympathy mein he was teary eyed and baaki was his usual polite/formal regard for Malini.....lol his actions otherwise showed pretty clearly ki divorce ka news is a relief to him only and his focus is on Imlie as always.

Waise I'm surprised that people aren't trying to twist this KC-Malini hug precap also to supposedly be about Adi feeling "jealous" seeing KC hug Malini.....lol usko ghanta farka padta hai and he's just like finding it bizarre at the most.....baaki he's least interested.....as he told Imlie the other day, if she thinks those two don't have chemistry, it's not HIS problem😆.

As for the next epi.....oh it would be nice if Adi tells Imlie that she should confide in him about everything going forward.....can be another angle to trust building....but then again, the writers are usually least interested in showing them talking about their own relationship, remember?😆....so I'll be pleasantly surprised if Adi brings this up. Baaki toh yes, many of us are hoping Adi still says firm about keeping the divorce going for Malini's sake if nothing else.....lol let's see what we get😆

Toh delayed hi sahi, Adi is keeping his word to give her SAATH in this SK wala appointment....that's also heartening in a sense....lol despite Nishant baggage weighing on him, mujhe toh yehi lag raha hai that he will keep the "Mrs. Tripathi" vibe going.....lol Mrs. Tripathi ko bola tha ki aayega KC ke office for SK case, toh aa gaya hai😆

As for Aparna.....lol yeah bas convenience se hi bete ka dard yaad aata hai....when he said he was suffocating, they hardly gave a damn and kept forcing him to be with Malini😆. Anyways mujhe yeh sab timepass lagta hai cuz I know she will go back to Malini bhakti with new rigor soon enough.....lol waise bhi if they start showing her again suspecting Adi-Imlie of EMA, wahaan bhi iski tune change hogi😆

Haha at you seeing through Didi ki nautankis today😆......hum toh pehle se hi keh rahe hain that everything she says or does is for tokenism....she had a 100 other opportunities to stick up for the Ts ka self-respect in front of her mom or refuse to allow her in-laws to be insulted everytime by her own mom.....but har baar bas tokenism mein baat tal jaati thi.....aur aaj bhi it was like she was just reading off a generic list about how she's brought so much unhappiness into Ts ki lives.....lol bechaargi checklist cross off ho rahi thi cuz she wanted to do the whole "I deserve this" drama to garner sympathy from Adi. When all this time, she has mostly defended her Mom's extreme actions under the guise of "she's just trying to protect me as her daughter" and "unke saath bhi bura hua".....lol

As Fary said, aaj bhi bas KOSHISH nikli Didi ke muh se.....lol itna sab hone ke baad bhi bas KOSHISH hai.....kuch karne jogi nahin yeh as we would say in Punjabi but dikhaana aise hai jaise bas yehi khadi hai sabke liye sochne ko😆.

Anyways, I already said yesterday that the apology was an afterthought.....lol she mainly came there to put on a brave face in front of Adi and show him she's happy about the divorce and is moving on and is "willing" to face so much beratement from his family😆.....so she achieved sympathy on the last point when she said "I deserve this" and Adi jumped to say ki no you don't and was apologizing on behalf of his family😆.

+1 on the bold for sure. Also after reading your older reviews, some things caught my attention, do let me know what you guys think:

1. I noticed a pattern in the episodes, where first 50 odd epis mein Adilie pe focus tha, phir a bada point aaya (Dil Se & gunshot). Then they get relegated to the background, and Malini comes to focus. Then around 100 epis mein phir ek highpoint aaya (Adi came to PD), after which again Adilie came to focus for 35 odd episodes (sindoor drama ke pehle). After that came the highpoint again at around 155 epis (Adi told Malini the truth) then again we got 7 episodes with Adilie focus (will include the diya one in this) and then again focus shifted back to Malini. Ab phir 200 ke buildup pe hopefully we should get development in Adilie's storyline before the big reveal (surprisingly they revealed teh Nishant truth today, else mujhe laga they had saved it for the 200 one, but likely there it will be related to Adilie in some way). By the looks of it, yeh KC ka sach shayad 250 ke aas paas bahar aane ki kshamta hai, lets see. (BTW, will do some more analysis and come back on this, coz I really feel this is a pattern)

2. Adi's graph also has been pretty much the same. He has been equally frustrating the same way like I mentioned above. Like you said, 94th episode tak, this guy had convinced everyone that he will never realize his feelings for Imlie, even though he was the one with her through 2 of her NDE's and had been devasted both times, but was worse than Malini regarding his feelings for both his wives with his Moon jaap. (On a sideline - remember the "Moon Jaap" which is giving tough competition to Imlie's "didi jaap". I think that is what the makers did. Shaadi wale episode ke baad till PD episode we got Moon Jaap from Adi for about 60 episodes & now almost same amount of episodes se we are getting "didi jaap" from Imlie. Ek se dusre ko replace kiya, lekin Malini ka jaap khatam nahi kiya)

Funny part is that what we had been complaining about Adi about 100 episodes back is exactly what we are complaining about Imlie, which is why Adi gets so mad at her. Adi itna flip maarta tha woh waqt, that we could not decide ke banda jaan bujh ke yeh sab kar raha tha, or was he honestly that ignorant. Some of the reviews and predictions I read through (NMji, remember the Water cooler contest for that "I love you" precap, some of the predictions there were hilarious) were dissing Adi so much because it looked like he just did not know what he was doing, despite being a suljha hua serious patrakar, who is supposed to be intelligent & practical. His antics were so frustrating, that we could not understand if he was really that ignorant, ya phir like his patent dialogue to Imlie "woh jaan bujh ke kar raha tha hum audience ko pareshaan karne ke liye). That was why when we got to the PD episodes, we could not believe our eyes and honestly were raving about the beautiful flow for pages (some of your threads were 30 pages long, mujhe laga novel padh rahi thi). I think that is what has happened, that we are missing that subtlety that we got for a few episodes that have been missing, but like i said, seeing the trend, we should be getting a good chunk in the next few weeks (I hope so).

3. Imlie's character has now replaced Adi's character. Be it the Moon jaaps, the flips, the head in the sand, everything. I really now feel that I am seeing Adi's version being repeated by Imlie. Like we saw, jab tak Adi ko ek aisa dhakka nahi mila that really jolted him out of his ennui, he did not realize what he lost, I also feel the same will be needed for Imlie. That is why I have hopes for the ultimatum to still come. That is th eonly thing that will push Imlie's character towards Adi, the way her "rishta khatam" pushed him towards her.

4. Malini's character has been like this since the around the bridge collapse episode. Uske pehle bhi she was overtly sweet, par uski fakeness and putting her head in the sand ki tendency tab se hi dikhaye de gayi, because in every one of your review, mostly NM, MB, pam, you and the others would always point this out in some way or the other for every episode after. It is funny that being a lead character, there has been absolutely no graph to her growth. Once that fakeness started showing, it only got worse and less tolerable for us to see. Hers is the only character that has gotten worse over time. She started nice and sweet and we really empathized with the character and the way she was accepting Adi & Imlie, and really felt ke uske saath galat ho raha hai. But after a while it got to the point where she first started out as ignorant, stupid, silly and then progressed to manipulative and shrill, to now being a forced bechaari. Matlab progression to hua, par ulta direction mein.

So overall mere episodes ke analysis ke hisab se, yeh jo drag ho raha hai, it is similar to the drag we got from episode 85 onwards (remember the V day, birthday, bridge collapse episodes) jahaan story to aage badh rahi thi, par characters stagnant huye the, the same place we are now. We will need to wait for at least the next 3 weeks before any true movement on the Adilie front will happen. Let us see meri prediction sach hoti hai, ya phir chop.

Tagging everyone' whose analysis I have really loved for the above mentioned episodes. Special one for AY. Your reviews really make my day.

It would be awesome but will not happen I all porbability caz that would mean her starting with other secrets like rupi didi knows the entire truth too and they just seem toh have kasam khao ke they will not reveal it not even when adi will be shattered caz again he is just a cover and an afterthought for most.. and also caz imlie kisi na kisi kasam main bandhi ya baandhi hoti hai logon ko.. though if they do go this way I will he delighted caz it is kuch needed to build on the trust factor

I think Rupi know the truth is known to adhi also . Yesterday’ s episode also rupi’s tone is like that … and her increased closeness to imlie. Adhi suggesting to sleep with Rupi … Rupali knows the truth is insignificant also. And in one of imlie’s monologue also gave light that adhi knows the truth. Makers are deliberately give some blanks to be filled by audience.

I am sure Adi will stay firm. This is more his and Malini business in a way and I doubt he will stop even if Imlie asks him to because frankly it does not concern her. Adi is very practical that way plus this is his soft side, or sach side or justice side, everything that defines him which basically will not allow him to keep Malini stringing and will do what all it takes, so that she can move ahead in her life. As he gave the right to Imlie to decide on their rishta, similar the right is Malini's to decide on how she wants to take forward their own rishta. In both cases, he is letting the women decide and he is just following through. If Malini would not have got KC in the picture, I am pretty sure that Adi would have given her all the time in the world to come to terms with the whole situation or the change in his feelings like he is giving Imlie the time. Its frustrating for us as viewers but its all goes back to that vachan he gave her that you will decide the course of our relationship. Imlie has been very secluded in her upbringing where rishta were white or black but now she is seeing the gray side of the relationships where everybody cannot be happy and the correct choice is not a short term solution or the status quo that she is hoping will go on forever but what will be good in the long run.

Lets see if Adi's patience runs out or Imlie's accepts the new reality. I have more hopes on the first one because Imlie accepting the new reality hone se raha. 😆

Adi ka sach ka naara has been relentless regardless of divorce😆.....he wanted to tell the truth to the family right after telling Malini.....divorce ka initiation Malini ne kiya and Adi jumped on it....but he has always been about telling the truth regardless. Divorce was just making it easier to ease everyone into the fact that AM are over so that they can start to adjust to the truth of AI.

Today, Adi did say ki ab toh divorce bhi final hone wala hai so let's tell the truth now atleast.....but see again, the divorce is not yet fully final but he still wanted to tell the truth today only😆......I think he only wants to reveal the truth of the marriage to Imlie so that they can get all that baggage done with....it's weighing on him too much that everyone is twisting the reasons for the divorce or only blaming Malini....he thinks getting the whole truth out will wipe the slate clean for everyone once and for all.

@bold2: LOL oh that would be a nice turn of events.....KM ka PDA would indeed put Adi back in the zone of thinking he's holding Malini back from moving on in her life if he pauses the divorce😆.....so that may keep continuing on.

See, they just needed an excuse to pause the truth reveal....divorce was anyways always moving on its own trajectory regardless....toh Adi should go back to that....ki theek hai if you want, I won't tell the truth now cuz of Nishant ki haalat but divorce should still go through for Malini's sake, if not for our sake😆.

Agree with you Nishant's collapse is a delay tactic. But I was totally flummoxed as to why imlie wanted divorce to stop. I mean their relationship is news to family. But fam already knows about the divorce na. So that can't hurt them more. In fact fam wants to end all ties with C-fam. So why does imlie want to stop divorce??

My theories are:

a. This is a weird attempt to preserve rishta with Malini🤮🤮. This one is an instant reject.

b. Imlie saw Aditya cry during divorce discussion. So she thinks he is in pain because of divorce so delay tactic. But she seemed happy in next scene. So rejected.

c. Imlie wants Aditya to stop concentrating on his issues and start caring about family. This was her subtle way of telling stop being selfish. So this will mean both his issues - divorce and truth should be on hold. Fam gets aditya's undivided attention in this crisis. I like this one😆

d. Some weird logic that no normal earthling can guess😆

Right now I think Aditya might agree with Imlie that he needs to stop being selfish. So in his weak moment he might agree to put both divorce and truth on hold. But even if he agrees with Imlie in his weak moment, seeing KM's pda, he may decide that he can't stop malini from progressing in life😆

If he rejects imlie's let's stop divorce idea from the beginning I'm going to be like go aditya🥳🥳

After gaining some perspective here and there I have to agree with number c (though I am more inclined towards d 😆) I think while we see it as imlie’s escapist tendencies, it is a bit of a mix because the makers are probably trying to show her selfless side here in the sense ke do not focus on our problems right now, the family is going through something so tough and they lost their DIL a while ago too toh no truth right now (would’ve understood more if she said that but let’s say she meant that too), divorce taal dejiye ke you are not distracted or busy with your/our problems, while the family needs you, since she saw him hating himself for being distracted with his own problems she said taal do yeh problems se deal karna for a while and focus on nishant and the family

Any specific reason why she's totally given up on telling that truth to Imlie? lol matlab not like I'm interested in Imlie learning that but Loservedis ne ekdum on brand kaam karte huye phir se guts nahin dikhaaye and koi reason bhi nahin diya for why they can't be bothered to tell Imlie the whole truth.

And phir Imlie bhi bhool gayi ki Didi ghaseet ke laayi thi Dev ko uske saamne to tell some sach before he keeled over in a heart attack.....sabki memories only last 1-2 epis in this show😆

Didi has found a new round of nautanki over divorce related bechaargi I guess toh Imlie ka sach again went on backburner.....lol and Imlie khud bhi bhool gayi that Malini had told her she is going to reveal some big truth....lol

The plots in this show are next level convoluted especially cuz of characters like Malini who have the memory of a goldfish but still create such tamashas to distract from the main point in any track.....just like she did with the sindoor thing.....baat ko kahaan legayi halla karke and kuch din baad she stopped fixating on that and found some other andhera/roshni crap to fixate on instead.
