At Temple
Meethi and Satykam's marriage ceremony was over. They all head back to their lodge where they were staying. Since there was not too much distance between temple and lodge. So they decided to walk towards their lodge.
There was the different kind of peace in their surroundings. After giving the promises to each other. Aditya and Imlie felt contented. Imlie looked at Aditya and her heart swells with love for him.
"Aaj babusaheb ne hume sabse badi khushi di hai! Humari Amma ke shaadi krakar! Heyy! Sita maiyya! Apka shukriya! Babusaheb ko humari zindagi main bhejne ke liye."
His thoughts were all over her mind and she wanted to say many things to him but it looked like that her lips were sealed as the Emotions were overwhelming. She again looked beside herself and finds him looking ahead on the way. She slowly inched herself little closer to him and slowly slipped her one hand into his and Aditya looked at her and then at their hands. She has intertwined her fingers with his. He slowly tightened his hold yet gently and brings their joined hands towards his lips and kissed them making her blush.
Soon they reached at their lodge and got settled in the room. Meethi looked at Satykam and gestured him to leave Imlie and Babusaheb alone for sometime and understanding her, Satykam said "Imlie, hum aur Meethi kapde badalkar thoda kàam se bahar jaat hai! Tum apna aur babusaheb ka dhyaan rakhi."
"Lekin dada! Kaha jaat ho? Abhi abhi toh aaye ho!", said Imlie when Meethi intervenes, "Imlie! Chinta na kar! Hum phle baar shehar aaye hai! Aur ab agar wapas gaon jaayeka hai to ukke khatir kuchon meethai lekar jaayenge! Kyunki ab humari shaadi hogyi hai."
"Ohh! Amma bahane khaye lgavat ho! Seedha seedha kaho na Dada ke saath waqt beetana chahat ho!" said Imlie with a teasing smile playing on her lips.
"Chup kar!! Kuch bhi kehat hai! Chal ab hum chalat hai! Satykam chalo!", and with this, They both left Imlie and Aditya alone in the lodge.
Imlie looked at Aditya and again her newfound feelings and her gratitude towards him comes back and her cheeks felt hot and blushed profusely and looked away.
"Sunno!!", and she looked at him with love filled big eyes. "Woh! Hume bohot bhook lgi hai!", said Aditya and instantly Imlie were in kitchen preparing his favourite Moti Roti. After few minutes of waiting, she served him with his favourite moti rotis. Before he could touch the rotis, his hand was held by Imlie. He looked at her and without saying anything, she took a piece of roti and dip that into the sabji, bring her hand towards his lips.
"Humare haathon se kha lijiye aaj! Hum dono ke liye aage ka safar mushkil hai babusaheb! Isiliye abhi jo bhi waqt hume saath mil raha hai! Usme hum chahte hai ki aap aur main ek doosre par khulkar haq jata sake."
Grasping the each and every word of hers left Aditya overwhelmed. His eyes held tears and a gentle smile played on his lips. Soon she indicated him to eat. Everytime her fingers touched his lips, her heartbeat increases and butterflies hit her tummy. On the other hand, Aditya kept looking at her as if she will vanish in thin air if he even blinked his eyes.
"Imlie ne humpar haq jatana shuru krdiya hai! Isse zyada ab hum aur kya maange."
Once they finishes their lunch. They sat beside each other and silence prevailed the room. They both were lost in their thoughts.
"Haaye!! Imlie! Aaj babusaheb ne itna kuch kiya hai! Tune toh unko thankyou bhi nhi bola", her mind reminded him and she smacked her head as punishment for not thanking him.
"Kya hua? Khud ko kyu maar rahi ho?", asked Aditya with concern and she looked at him. This time she felt her emotions exploding. One look at him and she felt a rush of emotions in her heart. "Kuch nahi! Buss yuhi!" She struggled with words and he raised his eyebrows in a question. She looked away to avoid his gaze.
"Babusaheb!!" She softly called him and inched closer to him. He shifted himself to come face to face with her. "Haa!", He answered and nervously she slowly took his one hand in her and placed her other hand above it. Aditya also let her do whatever she wanted to and observed her silently.
"Babusaheb!! Humara bachpan se sirf do hi sapne rahe!! Ek apni amma ko khushi dena aur apne dada ka sapna poora kar police afsar banna!", He looked into her eyes and tears were shining in those brown orbs but he let her continue so that she let it out whatever she felt.
She continued, "Apko yaad hai! Apne kaha tha ki agar jeevan saath sahi ho toh Rishta pankh ban jaata hai aur agar Jeevan saathi galat ho, to rishta pinjra ban jaata hai!!", Now tears were flowing from her eyes and in an instant Aditya raised his hands towards her cheeks and wiped her tears and her hands clutches his hands and unknowingly she decreased the space between them.
"Babusaheb! Apke saath humare rishte ki shuruaat kesan bhi hui hoh! Lekin humare liye ee rishta pankh hai! Apne sirf humari Amma ko jeevan bhar ki khushiyan nhi di balki humare sapne ko poora krne ke liye humar saath bhi diye ho. Ou sab kuchon ke liye apka shukriya", Now her tears were turned into sobs, her heart was filled with so many Emotions that now they flowing from her eyes.
"Shh! Imlie, Rona band kro, Aao idhar tum!", and he engulfed her into his arms and he gently caressed her hairs. After few moments, her sobs subsided and she looked at him. His eyes, she can feel his love for her in them. In them, she felt wanted, she felt needed and then She felt his touch, his one hand on her head and other was rested at her back. She felt home. He looked at her, for him her eyes were the soul to her heart. He clearly saw pain, fear, insecurities but still love was shining the most out of them. Her doe shaped eyes are always his weakness because of the innocence which they held.
They both were completely lost in each other. Surrendering themselves to the moment, Aditya's hands finds their way to cup Imlie's cheeks. He slowly decreased the gap between them. Her breath fanned on his lips and his eyes rested on her lips. He knows that she loves him and today they had given the rights to each other. But still his respect for her stopped him. He moved his lips towards her ears, "Sunno!! Tum aaj iss saree main bohot khoobsurat lag rahi hoo.", her cheeks still in his hands felt hot not only from his touch but also his compliment. She just bowed down her eyes & a shy smile made its way on her lips.
She knew that he changed his way and didn't crossed his boundaries despite his right on her. Overwhelmed with the feeling of respect, she decided to take the lead to show her right on him. With all love, she sat on her knees to match up his height and his eyes followed her.
"Babusaheb, apni ankhen band kijiye na!"
"Lekin kyu? Imlie!"
"Kijiye to sahi! Apke khatir ek taufa hai!" said she with a her cute expressions and unable to hold his curiosity, he obeyed her by closing his eyes. Once his eyes closed, he felt her hands on his shoulders and then he felt her breath on his face, with his eyes closed, he can feel how close she is. His both hands finds their home on her waist and he waited for her next move and he felt her lips on his left cheek and his smile widened. He opened his eyes and finds her dangerously close to her. Their faces inches apart and their breaths waiting for the moment to become one. She gazes at him but didn't came out of his hold, instead she placed her lips on his right cheek and his hold on her waist tightened and he pulled her closer.
"Babusaheb! Hum apse bohot prem karat hai!" She whispered the magical words in his ear and with her confession, she encircled her arms around his neck and he tightened his hold on her waist and they sealed the moment with the peaceful hug and a content smile on their faces. Indeed she has given him the best gift ever.
