Imlie Regional versions discussion thread #3 - Page 43

yuck - this is too much to take at one time. Are these interspersed with happy Archie Baha moments or is it all Archie KMK drama. Why was this show even as popular with such a storyline - what made people watch IK? Masochistic tendencies?

how does Archie's need and love for Baha tie into all this? How does he excuse himself from this behavior.

In Imlie Adi treats Imlie shabbily when he thought all his priority and love should only be for Malini. I'm hoping he carries the same regard for Imlie.

This is a tricky situation - so far in Imlie they have handled this balance well. Post Imlie love realization Adi has been pretty hands off with Malini. Today was the first time - I got a hint of Adi holding on to his gehra relationship with Malini and it worried me. Now do I hope for better sense from Imlie makers (something I had about 30 episodes ago) or worry given the recent episodes trend :(

Ending of the story is responsible for Baba's thought that maybe he can't forget Moon ever . You have to first go through entire Adilie interaction for our understanding of their equation. I can't remember every incidents tobprove my point but some are as follows:

1. Aditya will never like this kun after knowing that he is not Mun's bf .He will be kind of jealous . Only for him and Imlie ,Malini will loose this man ( malini will fall for him very hard and that kunal guy too ) .Malini will attempt suicide and Aditya will save him and will take care of her .

2.Whenever there will be a problem regarding Imlie aur family ,Aadi will call Malini and discuss ( 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ super pissed of with this ) everything with her .

3 .Malini's 3rd husband ( if they show it here ) was always against Adini closeness .For instance Mun will wish Aadi in his birthday at night even before Imlie did that .This will pissed off both Imlie and the 2nd husband.

4.In the last part of the show ,it will be cringe ×infinity.Mun will stay in pd during her last days .Aadi will take care of her ( with Imlie's permission) .He will take care of her almost like a hubby .He will apply sindur on her as well and Mun will die .

All these instances will make Imlie think that Aadi can't move on from Mun and will leave Aadi and stay separately for almost 6 yrs .

You can decide if you want to watch it or not because I have told you all the points .Disengagement is must to watch it .

For some reason I do not see Gul doing all of these in Imlie. They will treat it differently.

I think they will touch all this tracks religiously and they will whitewash it through Imlie's action.

There are plenty of romance as well.As far as my sanity is concerned ,I think they will touch every track religiously super coating it with Imlie's action ( she will force him or will ask him to take care of dd ).Either move on or disengage so that you can't burden yourself with it . I'm ready to leave it after seeing Aadi's reaction on learning Kunmun truth .If I notice anything odd ,I will leave this show and go back to J,Cor K drama happily.

why should kunmun truth make a diff to Adi? Whether Malini fell in love with Kunal before their marriage ended or after should be irrelevant to Adi? No?

I get his guilt factor. But why turn against Kunal? Its Mun who pushes Kun to act right?

Also does Archie's family support KMK interference after he marries Imlie or they stand with her and condemn Archie for his ties with KMK

That will ruin Imlie's characterisation for me. So either Adi or Imlie will be offered up at DD's altar :(

But then they can never show Imlie being upset with Adi for doing what she is asking. They both will be fine. It's us viewers who will be stressing :)

You have to understand the writer's ( Leena Ganguli) point of view here ---- She had repeatedly told that Archie is a common man with all the virtues and vices of a human being . According to her Archie's jealousy of Mun's truth comes from his deep attachment and togatherness with Mun for almost 7 yrs .This man is really confused what he really wants or cares about. He will never de touch himself from Mun . Actually these three will always suffer .After knowing didi's sacrifice, Adilie will build a mandir for didi and a mountain of guilt trip 🤢

This show will go down and down and I don't know how they will show such bold concept in national tv!

Imlie's character will be butchered for didi .Another caution is every track from now on will be didi track 🤢

you sound traumatized from watching the Bengali version. I'm in awe that you actually signed up to watch Imlie. Let's hope for our sakes that Gul lives up to / or resurrects our expectations from this show.
