Both are hiding the pain to the outside world but within the heart the pain is growing each day and nothing can erase the memories, only regrets is of the pain infinite and not understanding how much pain was given at that time.

Maybe the years have made both of them strong but accidentally meeting would break the barriers but will they communicate the words that have never been spoken to each other or will they let the boat go bye without lifting a finger.

The depth of feelings written for both characters is amazing 🥲 and the understanding to write the feelings and understanding it is another reason why this is so good

Very true. Both are hiding their pains within. With their own share of regrets and insecurities, they have spent these many years just in reminiscing each other the irony being, both thinking the other is happy without them while both yearn just for each other. The reason why I love Adilie is because their love is different. It has a tinge of melancholy but is infinitely deep and pure. Thanks a lot for the compliment.

9 years. It had been 9 long years since they had parted ways and he had breathed a sigh of relief at freedom from their forced marriage which felt nothing more than a nuisance. When they had parted, he was relieved and happy because he no longer had the nuisance stopping him from reaching his happiness, in his life.

For him, she was the storm that had wrecked his life and pushed it to chaos and he hated her for that or so he thought. According to him, he loved Malini and only she was to become his wife not any other woman. But fate had played it's own game and he had been married off forcefully to Imlie. Before he knew it, he had turned extremely callous towards her which wasn't his usual personality. He hurt her many times yet she quietly took it in without a word. The fact that his family had accepted her without any qualms and showered her with affection irked him even more and he behaved even more rudely with her. Soon she too stopped coming infront of him, avoiding him as much as possible giving him some relief. But despite all his anger and hatred, he had never failed to read the pain in her forlorn eyes.

And then she had let go. She had walked upto him one day but he had behaved just as rudely with her like any other day. She had patiently taken in his rude behaviour and calmly spoken to him about their divorce. At that moment, he had been astound. Why hadn't he thought of that before? They had then agreed mutually to a divorce and he had started the proceedings immediately, ignoring the feelings in his heart at the fact that they would be seperating soon. Once their divorce had been done, she had wished him and Malini her best wishes for their life ahead and had bid a tearful goodbye to his family who had actually become her own as well. And casting one glance at him, she had moved out.

At that moment, Aditya never understood why he did not feel completely happy at being freed. He hadn't understood at that moment why he felt sad seeing her leave. He had brushed all of it aside and had married Malini. If only he hadn't let go of her then. If only he had realised then!

Malini and he were really incompatible and that they both realised in their 2 year marriage which ended with their divorce and which was also the reason of their divorce. They had parted on good terms and while Malini had left to the US along with her family, he still stayed alone.

His family had tried many times to convince him to get married but he couldn't for he had realised by then, just how much incomplete he was without her. It had taken him long to understand that Malini had just been his best friend and that he did not love her. Love - love was what he had found in her. Imlie - the only woman he had loved.

She had come into his life like a storm and had left it like a silent breeze. He never realised when he actually fell in love with her and by the time he knew it, it had already been too late. He had lost her forever! But he had no one to blame but himself. He had hurt her always and he knew by hurting in her love for the rest of his life was how he would be able to repent.

He had come to know of her achievements soon as they were published in papers. He had kept track of her but did not have the courage to go to her. She looked happy and for all he knows, she might have found someone else. His heart twitched in pain at the mere thought of it. But she deserved to be happy dint she? He dint want to entangle her with his life for he held himself responsible for breaking her heart. Yes, he still remembered her last look. Her forlorn eyes held all her emotions she had masked well till the last moment and witnessing it he knew, if somebody ever asked what his biggest mistake was, he would tell them it was breaking her heart. She dint love him but surely respected and cared for him but he had just treated her like an animal. And so Aditya Tripathi decided he wasn't worth the previous jewel Imlie was. Yet inadvertently his dreams would show her as his forever.

Placing back the cutout of her photo from the newspaper back into his drawer, he closed it and wiped his tears. She was the brightest star in his universe while he was a mere spectator who only could look at her from far but never have her. Aditya had accepted this fact yet every piece of his heart which hurt with agony at this distance from her still wished she could be there, just as his and just for him. He had pushed her away but subconsciously wished she would come back, just for him.

Love,

PSR

Your writing is so good dear.... although I also don't want to see adilie separation for 9 years but you have reflected adi's feelings really well...all this he deserves for the way he had treated Imlie in initial days.👏👏👏

Part 03A: I Can Feel You In The Breeze

The gentle evening breeze carried with it the aroma of the flowers planted in the park which had bloomed in various colours. She walked down the path slowly, lost in thoughts of her own. Her thick black hair cascaded down till her waist while the pallu of her saree swayed due to the air. These were the rare occasions she actually let her hair free without plaiting them.

This park was particularly deserted despite the elegant sight of nature's beauty decorating it's expanse. Many a times she would come here to seek the much needed solace her broken heart needed. She would walk around in the park, the silence around, her constant companion. Thoughts of him frequented her even here but here she could share her sorrow with the nature around, unlike every other place where a mask was put on to hide her melancholy. Walking ahead, she stopped abruptly when she felt something course through her veins. A profound feeling of familiarity passed through her even as a restlessness of different sort gripped her. Her eyes inadvertently moved around to catch sight of what her heart had affirmed it's presence to be.

No! It can't be him! Why would he be here? She shook her head but couldn't get rid of the feeling.

"Something's seriously wrong with you Imlie. You're just thinking too much. How can he be here? This wasn't a park people usually visited. Maybe it's because you're thinking of him too much" her mind told her

"Dosen't she think of him every day? Why then dint she feel all this before?" her heart said.

She looked around again even as she slowly walked ahead, the feeling that he was near refusing to recede from her system. But much to her disappointment, she saw no one.

"What are you thinking Imlie? Even if he's nearby what do you have to do about it? He isn't here for you. He and his wife might have come together. Maybe they would even have had a kid by now." her mind said and she sadly agreed. Taking a deep yet painful breath, she left the park and for the first time in years, she was bereft of solace while walking out of this park.

**

He knew she was in this city and so his eyes searched for her everywhere he went. He had come here for a news story and his yearning heart found it as an opportunity to see her. He knew it was impractical to just look around hoping to catch a glimpse of her in such a big city yet his aching heart heeded to no rationale as all it wanted was her. He was the parched land while she was the rains in which he needed to be drenched.

The evening weather felt pleasant as he walked, his eyes still searching around for her. As silly as it might sound, somewhere he wished she could just come infront of him with that infectious smile of hers, the twinkle in her eyes as bright as the stars shining in the night sky. He wished he could hold her in his arms just once and tell her just how much he loved her. Just once. That's when he suddenly realised that he did not deserve her. That's what had stopped him all these years from trying to reach out to her. Tears escaped his eyes and he made no efforts to wipe them. If only he hadn't let go of her.

"Don't try to reach out to her Aditya. You lost her due to your own folly. Now you have no right to even try to reach out to her" his mind said and he dejectedly agreed.

Lost in thoughts, he was just walking by the park when his footsteps stopped abruptly. A profound feeling coursed through his veins.

Was she somewhere near?

He looked around but found no one around. Maybe he was missing her too much. He continued to walk but the feeling dint recede from his system. His restlessness increased so did the pace of his heartbeats.

He looked around again in every direction but much to his dejection and disappointment, he found no one around.

He sighed deeply, a sharp pain shooting in his being. Just as he took a step ahead, he saw someone step out of the park. His heartbeats turned erratic and instant happiness tinged with melancholy filled his eyes and heart.

"Imlie" he called out

Love,

PSR

Part two was just as I expected simply outstanding. One could feel his regret and pain in the whole read and the yearning for her return. His realisation that he had wronged and lost love was a tearful moment but at the same time it shone through as he kept track of the love he had found. That’s what unrequited love is all about loving without expecting anything in return he just learnt it the hard way. If only he turned around and walked to her he would maybe learn that she is still watching and waiting just as he is in his dreams.

Must say love the way he matured in his realisation that a relationship can become so much and sometimes we learn the value of it when it’s gone.

Beautiful message 😊

Wow love part three too what can I say but simply this sometimes the heart knows what it wants before we can even realise it is with us all along. The yearning and faith that they could meet and want to meet was so nicely put.

The guilt of wanting the other and believing it to be wrong is what makes you root for there reunion even more. It’s nice to see that there souls are as connected as when they parted.

Sometimes a sign is all one needs and maybe this is there night where one wrong can be made right. Hopefully they will talk what there about what there soul has felt all along. For destiny give you a sign but taking the leap of faith is the chance they have to take if there love is ever to unite.

Love the hope this brings that chances can be made possible if only we keep faith.

Magical and I cannot wait for the next part 😊
