Good point - it does seem like they are setting up sides now with all the men (except Nishant) and Rupi Di on Team Imlie.

Indeed, the way he earnestly apologised without hesitation showed that he does sincerely consider Imlie a part of the family and is ashamed of the fact that they had to send her away. But as Imlie said, although they have sent her away physically they couldn't distance themselves Imlie from their hearts. She has made a permanent place in their hearts and dil se kisi ko nikalna is very difficult, as Adi once said.😆That's why dil ke rishte will always trump majboori ke rishte for which they they are making so many efforts...duniyadaari ki khatir. Imlie understands this, that's why she keeps returning to their house even as they treat her harshly on the surface because that's not really the way they feel about her.

This will ultimately work in Imlie's favour and Tripathis' will accept her wholeheartedly in the end. Meanwhile, Didi can enjoy this treatment and Tripathis' official bahu status until the charade is up and Imlie is revealed as the real bahu.😆
