So many times we've talked about how Adi-Imlie have created beauty in the middle of such a horrible mess.....that has been the defining quality that has made their story so touching to watch as well. But this week, they literally were barely given a moment to breathe.....every little scene they got also was just about devolving into the very mess that they used to manage to rise above many times with just a look and an unsaid moment of connection. Woh sukoon sadly kaafi hadh tak kho gaya this week *sigh*

Not like the show hasn't gone through heavy phases before but it has never felt this drawn out....and Didi really is a special kind of Dementor with her talent for sucking life out of every character in this story. They need to balance the epis out with atleast showing some non-Malini related issue....high time. If it's meant to be a break, then treat it like one.....not by making every damn scene still about her even when she's not in the house.

Couldn't agree more.. as I was saying thr other day this week they have permanent unrest on their faces bechare chalte phirte unhappiness ka Putla hain.. no proper communication at all and adi once again never got to console imlie on the sindoor matter at all one to one.. when she needed him the most she jhelooed that alone too and ab is focused on didi .. puhleez.. you can't raise the bar and then do a maha chop.. bhai phir show ka naam imlie se malini kar do caz frankly imlie ki toh yahan kisi ko padi nahi hai.. didi kisi ko chance dengi toh socheinge na..

@bold: Yeah, that's grating on me a lot.....Imlie was traumatized by that entire sindoor tamasha and she was humiliated so much by Malini but we literally never got to see any convo between Adi-Imlie regarding that....next morning bhi whole focus was only on Malini ko batana hai......was it all really so easy to take all of it in stride that Imlie ka itna disrespect hua?

Will it really shift the story too much if for once Adi Imlie ko directly bol de uska kya maan hai uski life mein? Especially when it was being kuchloed so brutally by Didi? This needed a follow up IMO and Didi taking up all the oxygen made it worse.

On the topic of Ts’ rose-tinted glasses: Unfortunately, I agree that Tripathi clan won’t be taking off their rose-tinted glasses re. Malini anytime soon. But notice these ppl give delayed reactions...aaj hi BK ne kaha that Adi’s recent abnormal behaviour hasn’t been hidden from anyone. So I think these people do notice Malini’s effect on Adi, on the family...it just won’t be revealed to the audience any time soon for dragging purposes. Later when the Adilie marriage truth is revealed, maybe they will recall these incidents and that will cement their decision in supporting Imlie over Malini. At least all this life sucking tension will serve a purpose that way.😛 On the topic of Adi not dwelling on changes in Malini, I think he will also give a delayed reaction later.

On the topic of Adi explaining to his family the reasons forhis devolving relationship with Malini: In addition to explaining Malini and his incompatibility, he should also explain his and Imlie’s compatibility. I know that he will tell them that he fell in love with Imlie, but that won’t be enough. He needs to explain that he didn’t know what he wanted in a life partner all this while until Imlie showed up and she has all the qualities that he has unconsciously desired in a life partner but could never articulate it. She mirrors, heck outdoes him in her convictions and is idealistic...just like him. Most importantly, she understands him like no one does. This is a basic human desire, to feel understood. He also needs to have that difficult convo with his family about why he’s refrained from sharing himself with them all this while, because he didn’t feel understood. And that’s why he retreated into his Grinch wala façade.... till Imlie came along, understood him, and he felt free to share himself. He needs to explain that this is why now his true self is coming out, and not because he fell in love with Imlie overnight. And I hope his family realises on their own why Imlie is a better DIL and Adi does not have to explain that also.😆

I am also of the opinion that discussions about Adi-Malini’s crumbling relationship will be kept vague until Ad spills it all out in a public outburst, I think that’s how Adilie marriage truth will be outed as well.😆

On the topic of Adi’s honesty of emotions: I also love this!❤️Actually, I haven’tseen this in many MLs in fiction in general, not just in ITV. I also like thefact that his ego doesn’t impede his demonstration of his love/emotions, this isso rare in males.😆 He’s just become so humbled by this love that he cannot help but surrender to it in all his being. This is why his Imlie wala truth has become the biggest truth of his life, it has brought him closer to himself. He hasn’t had that clarity for so long, on who he really is and what he wants from life. Now that he does, he is unabashedly pursuing it, with no faraks to give.I just love that!😊

ofcourse this is what is making me feel more mehh right now.. what is the point of the baatein they do of saath of support when they can't even give us a one to one. Him consoling Imlie when she is shaken to this extent after-didi bakwaas. Why do I feel they edited out whatever there was with the blanket bit too it came too hurried . Idk if this has to do with them finishing these in the last days before lockdown and trying to do as much as they can film ya kisi ne dhyaan hi nahi dia.. those big moments in their lives big jolts pe follow up na milna really makes one feel the gap.. and a bit if disconnect.. why even keecho it so much if adi and imlie won't even as much do a talk about it.. console her.. share her big moments with her

I hope the continuity gets better and we do get something for her dhamki but yeah this week this has left me super disappointed. Ke akele main bhi he never came to just as much as hold her hand or hug her tight ke tumhari galti nahi thi and calm down..yeh sab bhi nahi toh ek glass paani hi le aata akele main ya khana for her. Seeing how freaking shaken she was it just didn't worked with the adi they have shown us so far in the rush

I think the writers are reading the treads... Aditya finally tells Imlie what everyone was discussing here yesterday.. why his n Mali is relationship was bound to fail!!!

I think people are really misunderstanding that Imlie’sguilt is only related to Malini Didi. The level of guilt that Imlie feels is due to her truly believing that she is the reason for all the unhappiness that is currently in the lives of Adi, Malini, Tripathis & even Chaturvedis.

After that she made peace with living a life without the title of a wife but she was happy seeing Adi living a happy life with Didi. She felt that at least she had not ruined the life of Adi, Malini & Tripathis.Her guilt of being the reason for forced marriage decreased.

Yes, she is not understanding that Adi-Malini will not remain happy if they stay together as Adi has completely detached from Malini & cannot fulfil his responsibilities as a husband. But this is in large part due to her belief & naivety that everything will be fine if they both stay together. Its like she can’t see the larger picture because of her guilt of being the reason of everyone’s unhappiness.

Adi tries to make her understand this simple point but the feelings that she has for Adi make her feel that she can’t trust herself that if she takes the decision of telling the truth then it would be because she is being selfish in grabbing her own happiness. That is why she needs an outside perspective from a genuine well wisher who makes her understand the larger picture that she is currently ignoring.
