@bold - oh absolutely. No doubt about that at all. I was saying ki they were probably so taken aback with what was happening that they decided it is best left uninterrupted. What they said when they brought the food out is a whole other different issue - they should have then atleast not defended Malini calling her saaf dil and all that. They know she is not that but being Aditya’s wife seems to be enough for them to be able to defend her 🤷🏻‍♀️ Even if it is at the cost of their own humiliation

I am holding myself from commenting on the Tripathis today. I think they were trying to play peacemakers as usual today in between Adi-Malini fight. Them not standing up for Imlie was the usual. I would have been surprised if they had. However much they treat her like their own family member, Imlie officially does not have a relationship with them & they will give the benefit of the doubt to a family member only when it is a choice between Imlie & family member.

I remember Adi had told her the same thing in the initial episodes that his family will support him only between him & her because at the end of the day he is their son. Sundar also had made Imlie understand the same point after the valentine day gift fiasco.

Lets see how they react tomorrow & what all do they discuss in between themselves about the situation. Are they still going to give clean cheat to Malini didi or are they finally wake up & smell the coffee about Malini Didi's true nature? They should at least back off from Adi seeing his emotional & mental state for a little while.

But why is she going along with Imlie from college. Koi aur teacher or even vice principal/principal can go na for such a big function. Kahi Imlie toh nahi use bolegi use support karne aane in order to get Adi-Malini in the same room. I sure hope aisa na ho.

i am excited about that aparna does looks shocked for the first time seeing adi so upset and genuinely trying to find out .. i guess it brings me back to his pahaad jaisa exterior.. and i think i have said it long ago ke they ignore and never tend to see beyond caz he is hatta katta jawaan aadmi and acts all mature and serious so they never try to scratch below that surface that he can have emotional issues and worries too for them as far as he is behaving in hiskhadoos manner everything is normal they never tend to found out exactly why is it that he acts khadoos even more these days.. this is much needed conversation jitna bhi thoda bohat he needs to tell his mom that he can be emotionally upset too so am glad he staright away told her too ke kyon maa aisa kyon nahi hua ab tak.. akhir ko toh beta hi hai na.. *sigh* it is painful but also darn realistic on so many levels.. the desi moms mostly do give up on their sons beyond an age in the sense ke they can deal with everything it is 2 extremes either over the top laad pyaar ya ek dum they are capable of everything.. woh communication gap aa hi jaata hai and even the laad pyar wali moms have ghanta any idea of bache ke dimmag main chal kya raha hai for most parts all that is seemat too yeh kha lo woh pee lo.. am looking forward to it caz i wanted it for so long

Malini’s spiteful behavior today shed light on one more aspect of the label society assigns so lightly to someone with education and money that it minimizes what being modern in the truest sense means. She invoked Aditya belittling her profession while trying to justify her actions. Little did she understand that her entire word vomit was in reality doing exactly that without Aditya having to actually say a word.

She put her self-respect out on the line today with her regurgitation. No amount of perceived modernism can eliminate the fact that self-respect is of utmost importance to any woman, any human being rather. The day you decide to lose it willingly, no amount of money, not any career, can come to the rescue. Malini today said it out loud that Aditya does not love her anymore and she still decided to bulldoze Imlie instead of walking out of the marriage. She maybe willing to walk out of the house but not away from the marriage. If a modern woman with means to a living knows she is in a loveless marriage; one that is dilapidated; nothing should stop her from walking away from it. There is definitely no justifying wanting to stay in one where your partner has even verbally indicated that there is no point of return. Goes to show that many a times, so called modernity starts and ends with just ticking a few random boxes that everyone else around you seems to be checking off.

Malini does not love Aditya. He does not love her. They do not have a relationship. She knows that. Whatever she does next, she is bartering her identity as a woman to do it.
