@bold: Bingo. It’s very clear that Malini’s reactions are not only out of the hurt and anger of a wife...she is also totally jealous of Imlie’s achievements and her getting attention/appreciation from society or the family.

People want to deliberately ignore this in trying to excuse her behavior as “bechari wife” but she has already crossed the line in other ways in showing her jealousy of Imlie beyond anything to do with Adi. She can’t stand a village girl/ naukrani getting appreciation and takes it as a comparison on herself 🤷‍♀️.

I hope the makers have the guts to show someone pointing out this ugly side of Malini’s personality in the show also to spell it out for those who still aren’t getting it 🙄. She can’t be given a free pass on everything simply coz Adi hasn’t told her the truth yet. That doesn’t explain her hating on Imlie for topping her exams.🙄

Malini took imlie ki padhaai as a charity case too 😆 without actually ever realizing how smart she is...she really thought gaoon main wazifa liya toh koi halwa hi hoga. Bk was seriously taking her classes trying to educate and POINT TO BE NOTED he is an ex professor too in the show.. so he was keen to teach this girl .. but malini went oh wait how come he can take the credit and turn out to be better educator so she went and first raised a question ke imlie ke level ke classes nahi dete BK caz well how can he be a better teacher offered her some books etc. Then forgot until adi took her tuition accidently and realized that this girl's callibre is beyond what they thought so she immediately went again ok I will get her college forms.. I mean sure it worked out for imlie but Malini was doing it from no no koi aur yeh daya nahi kar sakta and turn out to be better.. also bas itna hi kia isne and people think ke she deserves the credit ek form jitna uske baad toh phir se sab adi ne hi kia and BK ne but ab credit conveniently went to didi for just bringing a piece of paper from college to home and making some ladoo ka cake rofl sure.. yeah I will hold that grudge 🤷‍♀️😆

I think it was because she kept going off on the Imlie tangent when he was trying to bring her focus back to the actual issue on hand. That she was not getting that despite him spelling it out made him question her comprehension more.

LOL yes, he uses the "samajh" word with Imlie also but obvious the tone/tenor is markedly different. Imlie doesn't cut him off in condescension and contempt like Malini does.....Malini was acting like it's a competition for her to just keep repeating back everything Adi was saying to her.....Adi ne bola "aap limit cross kar rahi hain" toh Malini instantly repeated the same thing back to him.

Also, Imlie never twists Adi's words like Malini is doing....she may not fully get what he's saying, but she doesn't twist his words either.

Behen prem toh waise sirf Imlie ki taraf se hai.....Malini's reason for deliberately twisting his words is obviously her own insecurity and sense of entitlement that refuses to tolerate that he won't just agree with whatever she asks.

I think she will try some setup like AC did at C house when she called Imlie under the guise of apology to insult her to get a reaction out of DC.

She must remember how Adi had reacted then. Abhi toh aur jyada fiercely protect karega Adi Imlie ko if such a situation arises again & Didi ko acche se sunayega bhi. Last time hi kitna sunaya tha.

Yeah, sadly I don't have high hopes either that Adi will reflect independently on the ghatiyapanti of Malini's personality....he will keep bringing it back to how she's acting out cuz he isn't being able to give her pati wala pyar. Unless Malini directly attacks Imlie in terms of running her down for background, something related to her education again, I doubt Adi will get it.....right now Malini is still dragging Imlie into their fights as a wedge....they are still not clearly seeing that her jealousy of Imlie is on every level, not to just do with this sindoor/pati drama. I guess we have to see if that unfolds with time cuz Malini doesn't seem capable of managing to hide her hatred of Imlie that well aage bhi.

I think Malini was throwing his actions back at him in her warped sense of equality and also to humiliate him by indicating that he actually did all this in the first place. Also to show the family that before you point your finger at me for my behavior today, your son did it before I got to this point so any blame for that lies at his feet.

That khatam main karungi line was hilarious. Aditya would have gladly packed her bags for her at that moment 😆 But I somehow think this is how she will be when the marriage ends, she will want to do some naatak of her own so that people think she ended it and not Aditya? That she decided he was beneath her. After all it is about her illusionary image at the end of the day.

Aditya khudke ghalti ko support nahi karta to why will he support her ghalat behavior. just because she is the wife and professor and thus whatever she says become right. Jo bhi ho, he T's are the best sasural people man. Not only they are not expecting the apology, they do not even expect respect from their own bahu. They are all ok with her tantrums, disrespecting their son, her manmaani and her going or staying at mayeka jab man kare. Kuch nahi to people generally question when the bahu disrespects their son right?

@bold 2: That was just her making herself bechari and victimizing herself to justify her behavior and leaving her house, thus expecting the whole princess welcome from the T's when Aditya brings her back. Really sometimes I think she is just so blind and deaf to his behavior and words. Aditya keep telling her and showing her that truth is way more complicated than what she is latching on but she just not want to see or hear. She just wants to stay in this bubble and be treated like a princess and now that she is not getting treated that way she is actually throwing tantrums. Her leaving the house is part of that emotional blackmail, my life is so horrible here. She know ki even if Aditya does not come , his family will push him to come and then she will have the higher point of negotiation and thus be entitled to the princess behavior because of all the pain she had to go through because of their son. Surprise Malini but Aditya is also done with his family. He is just done with all the drama in this life and he is now craving only simplicity.

Malini just did not want to act like she was the one losing it in the episode. She does all that, her husband sleeps on the couch and she decides she needs to leave the house Good for Aditya and the audience but which sane woman acts the way she does? Frankly kabhi kabhi mujhe lagta hai he very well knows these sides of her nature and that is why he lets her think things are her idea whenever he wants to extract himself from her nonsense without too much tamasha😆.....ki sochne do isko ki she was the right one in the whole situation as long as end result toh mil jaaye😆....this "break" scene felt like that only.....the way he paused, turned the idea over in his head and responded with a "Aap sahi keh rahi hain"🤣....He knows that is THE catchphrase to make Malini agree....just give her that lollipop so that she doesn't change her mind and actually leaves😆
