Made a batch on some standout moments from the epi as well :)

And baat isn't about wanting "romantic" Adi-Imlie scenes for me personally....but I do want to see some good conversations between them in this "break" period.....literally the only sukoon wala scene in the whole epi yesterday was the Adi-Imlie scene even if they were disagreeing as usual on the truth issue.....that is the quality their scenes bring to this show.....they are the only sukoon in all the royal mess of complications this story is otherwise😆.

I don't think the family will accept total incompatibility unless Adi SPELLS it out for them. They are still thinking it's just some marital discord that can get resolved....Malini still has the official title of wife/bahu....Adi is hung up on telling the whole truth rather than even managing to get the words out that he doesn't want to stay married to Malini anymore.

Cliched hi sahi, I want to see a scene of Adi actually stepping between Imlie and Malini as Malini tries to target Imlie....actual shield banke dikhaao, Babusahib😛. Dusro ki ganna dhulaayi kar sakte ho but Malini ke saamne itna bhi nahin kar sakte?

Abhi sirf itna bola hai ki jinke paas tameez nahin hoti, woh kisi haq ke laayak nahin hote.....aage yeh bhi bol lo ki jis rishte mein koi izzat nahin, wahaan GHANTA rishta and ghanta dharampatni.....koi please get lost bole ek din Didi ko😆

I think we will definitely see Adi actively defending Imlie against Malini very soon.

If she continues this behaviour with Imlie tab toh avashya milega phir chahe family kuch bhi samjhe😆.

One random thing that was cracking me up in all of Adi's retorts yesterday was the way he'd keep adding, "Samajh rahi hain na aap"?😆....I've never seen him repeat it this much in other arguments before as much as I can recall.

Lol is this cuz Adi knows that Didi ko SERIOUS comprehension problem hai so he keeps adding this in as a way to reiterate his point and check if she's getting anything he's saying😆?

Is it too much to ask that Adi will EVER reflect on the fact that choosing the daughter of a woman like Mrs. C was never going to end well for him?😆

@bold - remember that joote mein phasi kankar line? Aditya was wrong to use it then but Malini’s entire viewpoint is actually based on it because that is how she has been raised. They are like this family that gives away charity money and expects the people who took the money to be grateful for the rest of their lives even if the donation was for Rs.100. Not minimizing the impact that money could have on any family, just that AC and Malini probably think that they have given their kidneys or something by being this benevolent. AC has been pretty open about her views on working class people since the beginning. Malini’s worldview is coming out now. All the while lacking the spine to actually fix their own problems.

Jis badtameezi se Malini spoke to his mom or BK or just seeing the tamasha in general - I do not know how anyone tolerates that at all. After seeing what Malini did yesterday, Aditya better reflect. But I have a feeling he will zero it back on Imlie somehow that she is not letting him tell the truth. Remember he still thinks Malini is doing all this because he is unable to reciprocate her love?

Yes, Imlie doesn’t shy away from apologizing and doesn’t consider it beneath herself for the people and relationships she gives regard to. Like she worships education and her teachers, so she fell to the Principal’s feet when she thought she accidentally hit him. Imlie has immense self-respect for herself, that is one of the reasons Aditya fell in love with her. The way she did not let Aditya walk all over her when he crossed his limits verbally. But in yesterday’s episode she did not only ask forgiveness or did murga, which in past showed her humility, but yesterday she BEGGED for forgiveness. Begged for something she was not at fault at all. She even called herself a stupid person, for what, to honor the gift Aditya gave her?

Only for Malini, Imlie has a lot of convoluted feelings. There is guilt but there is also blind worship. Like you said, Aditya needs to help her with the guilt part. But what about blind worship. According to Imlie, Malini can never do anything wrong. One of the reasons Imlie left for PD last time is because of her pehchaan, she is not a servant. And yesterday she casually said that she is a servant. So the three things - calling herself stupid, begging for forgiveness and calling herself servant did not settle right with me. And she did all that for Malini or Malini- Aditya relationship. Aditya needs to keep Imlie away from Malini. With the way Imlie is in front of Malini, Malini can easily verbally abuse her and traumatize her so much that Imlie can lose all the self esteem she has for herself. Malini has immense influence on Imlie and I can clearly see Malini taking advantage of that.

I know imlie will never fight back or argue with Malini but I wish she learns to ignore her words and her presence in the future. Or at the least not put her on a pedestal. Imlie can be objective about everyone, Aditya even, but somehow with Malini, she loses her self. Aditya working on her Guilt is extremely important but Imlie also needs to open her eyes to Malini.

I think it was because she kept going off on the Imlie tangent when he was trying to bring her focus back to the actual issue on hand. That she was not getting that despite him spelling it out made him question her comprehension more.

Yes, I very well remember his joote mein phasaa kankar line, but again the point remains....he came out and instantly expressed regret over it to Imlie....he was a coward at that point, but never a person with ghatiya soch. He has been wrong about MANY things....but he's never felt ENTITLED to his misbehavior...that is the GLARING difference between him and Malini.

Malini is either attempting a cheap/fumbling interpretation of what she thinks Adi used to be with Imlie or this is how she actually thinks....I really can't tell with her cuz honestly she has no real personality....she tries to make herself an extension or mirror image of whatever passes in front of her vision in a given moment that she thinks will help her get her way.....this seems to be some weird mixed attempt to be half AC/half Adi that she thinks will help her manage her problems.....it's failing spectacularly🤔.

Noticed while gif-ing that she actually threatened in the argument ki "shuruvaat jisne bhi ki ho, khatam MAIN karungi"....hahaha such a JOKE you are, Didi....bas empty dhamkiyaan....karne ki himmat zero hai kuch bhi khatam.....she is just floundering thinking that Adi will be cowed by her threats to "end" things....but he was like most welcome...abhi kar do end🤣.....uske mann mein sach mein laddoo phoot rahe honge ki shaayad use mil jaaye mukti....alas, it failed.

Yeah, sadly I don't have high hopes either that Adi will reflect independently on the ghatiyapanti of Malini's personality....he will keep bringing it back to how she's acting out cuz he isn't being able to give her pati wala pyar. Unless Malini directly attacks Imlie in terms of running her down for background, something related to her education again, I doubt Adi will get it.....right now Malini is still dragging Imlie into their fights as a wedge....they are still not clearly seeing that her jealousy of Imlie is on every level, not to just do with this sindoor/pati drama. I guess we have to see if that unfolds with time cuz Malini doesn't seem capable of managing to hide her hatred of Imlie that well aage bhi.

I think we are underestimating didi’s emotional manipulation capabilities. Uske games shuru hue nahin hai abhi. She will go on a multi-pronged attack now. And she will not try to mess with the annoyed giant directly.

Deep down, she knows there’s something off with the whole Aditya Imlie equation. Kyunki woh hai hi thedi and is not brave enough to listen to the truth from the horse’s mouth, she will use twisted ways to bring out what Imlie means to Aditya.

@bold: +1....yes absolutely....this can affect Imlie's self-esteem in the long run....waise toh she's quite resilient...even Adi couldn't bring down her self-esteem when he was also being pretty awful to her in between....toh yeh kar leti hai khud ko manage no matter what..

But yes, with Malini there is a different degree of hero worship for whatever reason....Imlie didn't hero worship Adi like that so she could still handle whatever put downs he kept throwing at her....but Malini ke saamne she grovels cuz of her guilt in thinking she is the cause of Malini's marriage falling apart.....woh issue toh Adi hi resolve kar sakta hai....Imlie is not going to get it herself unless Malini goes too far in attacking Imlie's mom or her Dadda in some way....that is the only possibility I see of Imlie ever pushing back against Malini.
