No denying that is difficult to watch Imlie demean herself for such a horrible person right now, but I still understand where Imlie is coming from since this is in alignment with her characterization.

As I was mentioning yesterday also, Imlie's guilt is too strong for her to stand up to Malini yet....otherwise she is capable of doing chhutti of anyone in two seconds as she showed to the college kids yesterday too.....unfortunately the circumstances have given Malini the entitlement of being the exception to Imlie's general rules of not taking nonsense from anyone.

Malini is a very weak character who does not know how to handle the situation smartly and on whom to lash out... she is a person who will be all lovey dovey if things are according to her which has till now been... a typical privileged child

But a small situation out of her control her reality comes out... and she choses the weakest person to lash out.. Imlie coz tat she think is harmless...

Also what i feel is, it is not only Adi's attention which is troubling her... she is not able to digest Imlie's 2nd rank, her capability of impressing others and handling things on her own... she somehow wants those kind of credits goes only to her as that is how she has been brough up... but T's are simple people and with their simplicity they could clearly accept the capabilities of Imlie and thus unknowingly fascinated by her which is not going well by Didi. This all has built up to coz this reaction.

Coz she being a professor should be in awe of girl from village with such hardship coming 2nd in state.. but she is incapable of seeing so far... her thought process is limited to herself. Malini fans must have ignored it but makers have clearly shown, recently whenever anyone praises Imlie, Malini smile comes in very much kanjoosi...

Frustration men scolding Imlie is also OK... chalo choti hai to gussa nikal diya but then using degrading words for Imlie shows how things were building up in her heart against Imlie.... I anyways never like too much sweet ppl , even in real life. they give me diabetic feeling... obviously too much sweetness is brought to hide the sour inside onself.... Malini is proving it.

@bold: Bingo. It’s very clear that Malini’s reactions are not only out of the hurt and anger of a wife...she is also totally jealous of Imlie’s achievements and her getting attention/appreciation from society or the family.

People want to deliberately ignore this in trying to excuse her behavior as “bechari wife” but she has already crossed the line in other ways in showing her jealousy of Imlie beyond anything to do with Adi. She can’t stand a village girl/ naukrani getting appreciation and takes it as a comparison on herself 🤷‍♀️.

I hope the makers have the guts to show someone pointing out this ugly side of Malini’s personality in the show also to spell it out for those who still aren’t getting it 🙄. She can’t be given a free pass on everything simply coz Adi hasn’t told her the truth yet. That doesn’t explain her hating on Imlie for topping her exams.🙄

Like she worships education and her teachers, so she fell to the Principal’s feet when she thought she accidentally hit him. She also venerates relationships, so she has no qualms becoming a murga also to diffuse conflicts. I think it’s heartbreaking to see her naïveté that she thinks murga banne se koi maan jaayega...it doesn’t mean she doesn’t have self-respect. She has shown plenty ability to display her dignity too. But she is absolutely a Jhalli too...so that side of her personality will also keep showing up as she struggles with the guilt of being responsible for these conflicts.

I do feel Adi needs to do a more effective job of helping her get over to this guilt of blaming herself. That will require pointedly telling her that Malini and him were wrong for each other regardless of Imlie showing up in their life.

It's quite interesting that Imlie ranked 2nd in her exams, Malini has a problem with that. Imlie is also his first wife whereas Malini is his second wife, so how will she digest that rank #2 once the truth is revealed? 😆Could be me thinking about this but the amount of praise that Imlie gets for clearing her exams w/in her first attempt + the amount of praise that she obtains from the Tripathi & Aditya w/o any effort. Lol yeah I think some of were discussing this last week also that Malini saying second hi toh aayi hai for Imlie feels really ironical since ultimately Didi will find out that she also has come second in the race to be Adi’s wife 🤭😂.

She is absolutely jealous of Imlie’s ability to effortlessly garner praise, admiration and love. It’s beyond just Adi now...Malini resents it on every level. Like yesterday she also seemed to resent that Badke Kaka said he won’t eat if Imlie doesn’t eat. There also Malini cut in with a taunt 🤷‍♀️. She’s gone totally psycho. Family toh hasn’t neglected Malini at all toh why is she acting like they have also wronged her? It’s all just plain jealousy coz they are also giving affection to Imlie, bas.

What a horrible person this woman is 😵. Itni maasoom bacchi se jealous ho rahi hai just for achieving something after so much hardship. She is absolutely one of those people who wants to suppress people and keep them “in their place” or she will lash out at them 🙄.

@BOLD: This! That is what the makers need to focus on now. Malini blatantly called her a naukarani yesterday. Imlie had once said- Baat pehchan ki hai! I want her to get that confidence back in herself and in her relationship with Adi. This constant guilt tripping is not helping anyone...
