Waise I wanted to say this.....AC for all her other faults has still been honest about what she thinks/feels....she doesn't hide anything - whether it is her contempt for lower class people or her dislike of Imlie....but jo Didi ne kiya hai has been far more horrible and will definitely feel more hurtful to Imlie in the long run......that the entire caring facade was a total act and Malini never cared for her one damn bit. That she is incapable of caring about anyone but herself.

Re: the rain incident....it all changed cuz Adi happily accepted a change in himself that day na...ki woh baarish mein bheeg gaya and it was ok cuz Imlie had some leaf over his head😆....the very fact that Adi didn't show irritation with Imlie over that is why Malini started sensing she is losing control I think....before that, any "change" in Adi like him worrying for Imlie, him buying her a kurta and all....Adi downplayed it or dismissed it so Didi didn't care as much also....but from this incident onwards, Adi didn't show dislike of Imlie over something that he doesn't usually like to do....and yes, that's when it started getting to Malini.

Now that I think about it, she just might have tortured Imlie with that kaadha for a reason😲😆....apna resentment indirectly nikaal rahi thi kisi tarhaan....but made it look like concern😆

+1 on the martyr bit. And it ties in so well with Malini that she has not given anyone a reason to smile so far. Not in the family, not for Aditya. He just seemed constipated even when he was loyal to her.

@bold - Didi toh 2.0 hai. Has to be a version with more fixes for the flaws that AC had toh obviously better manipulator banegi hi. But it is good in a way too. Agar she goes to the deep end and comes back post atoning, toh Imlie gets to have whatever kind of sibling relationship she wants. But if she does not, Imlie gets to learn to weed out the poison trees from her life. Learning hi ho jaye ki all people are not deserving of her goodness all the time.

On that kaadha bit, remember the “I will feed you poison too when the time comes” dialogue she said then? It will be interesting to see if they take her THAT far or leave it to her mother 😆

@Bold - wow, that are a lot of sins Aditya has committed in 1 day as per Malini. No wonder she burst by the end of the day. 😆 Now all my sympathies are with Malini....damn. 😆I am really enjoying Aditya prioritizing Imlie over his work. This is what happens when a man is in love with a woman, he learns to balance his work and love life. He is willing to go late to work just so that he can drop Imlie off on her first day of college. How are Tripatis not surprised by this. And when Imlie left him and went back to PD, Adi's boss was actually happy to give him few days off, even his boss was desperate for Aditya to take personal leave. 😆 That is how much Adi has worked for 7 years.😆 In Malini's case, heck he did not even prioritize her over his work for their engagement and THEIR HONEYMOON. Which man on this planet will not prioritize his honeymoon. I mean, I do not even know what to say. 🤣Malini ki understanding ki daaat deni padeki........never seen such an understanding wife. 😆👏

And also I felt Adi's boss felt more guilty that Adi's honeymoon got cancelled than Adi himself. Adi's boss apologized at least 3 times to Aditya and once to Malini. How many times did Aditya apologize to Malini. May be 1 time, that also I don't remember. 😆

I so agree to all of this. Mithi and adi will be each other's secret keepers. Adi owes her explanation and assurance. Very crucial that entire conversation will be. Should Imlie know that Mithi knows? Should Imlie be part of that conversation? Hmm!

I want Imlie to be present during this conversation between Aditya and Mithi. It will be another reassurance for her that no way is he ever going to go back to Malini. Imlie needs to comprehend more how serious Aditya is about her and by pacifying her mother, making her mother understand his POV, his mistakes, and how he plans to fix his mistakes, it might help. She will have to somehow work towards feeling less guilty about her future with Aditya as there is no going back for him, only forward with Imlie.

Again, point to be noted....Adi never made any bones about putting his work above Malini and even now he's very calmly showing that Imlie is above work for him😆.....chahta toh chhupa bhi sakta tha, koi excuse de sakta tha ki aaj office mein khaas kaam nahin....lol but he still straight up said maine chhutti li cuz yeh zaroori hai Imlie ko drop karne jaana😆. Imlie is still wearing Adi's watch in the precap. Lol when didi comes to thopo her new golden sindoor ka dibbi in her hand.

Sindoor and Adilie have a long connection and how can they not kincho it for TRP or to increase the drama effect? Right from the temple at PD to Imlie giving it up to Malini during her shaadi, to Adi wiping it off her maang in the ambulance, to vat savitri puja to when Adi filled her maang.. too many symbolisms with the sindoor.

Loved reading everyone's take on the episode and didi's descent into the dark side. She has been inherently selfish and self centered, just extremely good at covering up her true intent with her smiles and fakeness. She cares a flying fig for the T's in general, just use them to further her purpose of attention seeking and praise, getting Adi to dance to her tunes and lording it over all. Her mask is getting ripped off now.

Adi once scolded Imlie bhari sabha mein after the bhaang dance and maybe it is didi's turn now, to face a similar music from Adi. So he must have rushed home to hear all about Imlie's first day at college and what a surprise for BS to see the sindoor ka QB on the floor, strewn over the floor like that. For all we know, bahut badi chop ho sakti hai as the makers manage to surprise us yet again.😆

Here's the tricky thing about attempting Malini's redemption from whatever deep end she will go down in this current phase......

In many ITV stories, they show a grey/negative character that atleast has the self-awareness that they are doing wrong things - they revel in it, are unapologetic about it etc. for whatever reason until the moment their conscience awakens for some reason and they step onto the path of atonement.

Malini's whole character arc has been based on faking her emotions and lying to herself to pretend she is a nice/sweet/mahaan person.....so how do you go about making such a person's "redemption" believable? How do we now believe that her conscience may awaken for real at some point in the future or she's simply faking it again to get brownie points? 🤔

I personally am going to find any behenchaara scene extremely hard to buy in the future....Imlie deserves better siblings than this.....isse achha woh Tripathis mein hi dhund le extended brother-sister relationships with Nishant, Rupi etc.....Malini ne sab kuch itne time tak fake kiya hai, aage bhi fake hi lagega no matter what she says/does.

Re: poison line....woah did she say that in that scene? 😲😆....Haha I have no memory of it in that much detail now....will have to go back and rewatch.....but I honestly won't put anything past her at this point...the gloves are off, and all bets are off with that😆
