Malini was taunting 🤔 Imlie when she said Imlie can keep qutub minar since she need it from time to time. It was not a happy convo. She is changing .

It was a good epi today though writers completely sidestepped the whole sindoor drama that they were promoting heavily😆. Sabke expectations ka popat kar diya but what we got vis a vis Adi-Imlie & story movement was good.

The first Adi-Imlie scene was again Adi trying to give Imlie all rights over him. He will keep on giving Imlie rights over himself again & again to persuade her but Imlie is not going to budge on her stance so easily. She feels she can't use her haq on him because Malini has the haq on him & will try to push Adi towards Malini only. As she told Adi she will be content with just knowing that Adi has accepted their relationship but Adi also told her that he won't be able to live with just his love for her in his heart because he has Malini bound to him as well & hiding his truth from Malini will be the beimani that will suffocate him eventually. Karma is truly a bitch😎😆.

I don't think Adi has any plans to live a life with Malini if Imlie is not willing to accept their relationship. It is only because right now he is allowing Imlie to take the lead in their relationship, giving her the freedom of choice that was denied to her for a long time. When he was saying the big things like he is willing to wait for her to take the decision, to take her own time I was going *sure sure* in my head😆. He thinks that he will be able to do that now but as soon as he perceives that Imlie is going away from him in any kind of way he is going to flip big time😆. He is ready to tell the truth at the drop of a hat. Today also he was casually saying to her let's tell the truth to everyone now only as if koi halwa hai🤣.

He literally asked her today that if she is willing to give him the haq over her. He wants the haq over her big time & the more Imlie in anyway denies him the haq, the more he will lose the minimum patience that he has & push back. We saw how he behaved today when Imlie didn't select the best college choice for herself as he wanted. Such scenes are going to happen frequently now & eventually he will once again become the belagaam ghodi😆.

The breakfast scene was like the new phase that has started of Adi-Imlie dynamics moving from the private bubble to the public space now. This thought we had discussed before & it struck me again when Adi-Imlie could not even hug eachother in the last epi when Imlie literally hugged every one else. How are the Tripathis going to start suspecting Adi-Imlie if these 2 do not even behave freely with eachother in front of everyone? They anyways are not suspicious, paranoid people in general like AC & now Malini so unless they see the change that has occurred in their dynamics on a gradual daily basis they are going to write off one off incidents such as Adi taking a stance for Imlie against AC. So this phase has now started.

It was so good to see Adi-Imlie banter over their first meet in such a free manner. Adi taunting Imlie, Imlie retorting back with Adi's fault in the takkar, him asking her to basically shut up with his 'aaj jyada nahi bol rahi ho' to Imlie making her classic Imlie faces at him. It was brilliant😆. The family witnessing them bantering like this was the key point here. They are not going to start getting suspicious immediately but gradually once Adi-Imlie become more free in their interactions in front of the family like bantering, ruthna-manana, openly showing concern for eachother, etc., people in the family will start to notice.

Adi wanting haq over Imlie also came into play with Imlie's choice of college. He wanted her to take admission in the best college as per her calibre but Imlie sided with Malini & family by accepting to enroll in Malini's college so as to avoid Adi-Malini fighting because of her. Adi was not at all happy with this. He had to accept it for now because Imlie has not given him the freedom to express his haq over her. He must have definitely thought that if the truth had been revealed, then he would not have to give explanation to anyone as it would be their decision as a couple. Such scenes will be more frequent now & one day his fuse will be blown as the frustration keeps on piling with him not being able to take any decisions for Imlie. His need to take back the control that he has for now given up to kismat or destiny will come back with a vengeance if he perceives Imlie going out of his reach in anyway.

Sindhoor drama was giving Haq to Imlie on him. It was supposed to be private bw a husband and wife unlike didi who make it a public affair. Even Qutub Minar became public😆

I must appreciate the writing in this serial after watching today's episode. I was so impressed with the first Adi-Imli scene today and Adi's lines in that scene. Ever since Adi has admitted his feelings, even though Imli is stuck on 1 point of not hurting Malini, Adi has shown immense progression about their relationship. First from accepting his feelings, to wanting Imlie back in Delhi, to letting her go as it is her choice to remain in PD, but when she returns to Delhi getting her home, wanting to come clean to Malini, giving Imlie space to accept their relationship to finally making it a foregone conclusion today that she loves him and he loves her. No real I love yous are shared between both of them and yet how freely Aditya talks about their love for each other, like he did in today's conversation. And it has been what, a couple of weeks since PD trip where he was confused as to why he was feeling restless without Imlie. Wow, what a progress.

So this is third conversation Aditya-Imlie has had about their relationship status and how to handle Malini - car trunk, bedroom, and today. Each conversation has ended in a stalemate between them and yet we see the progress. There is such clarity in their conversations. Though they are in disagreement, there is no doubt in what the other is thinking. Aditya is 100% right in saying that he needs to detach himself from Malini otherwise he is doing wrong by her the more he remains in a relationship with her. Sometimes I think Aditya should end his marriage with Malini even without Imlie's support. But then the question arises, on what basis can he end the marriage. It is not like Malini will go away quietly and no one will question him. When he ends the marriage, he will have to confess the whole truth, not only to Malini but the whole family. And how can he confess the whole truth and put Imlie in such a position without her support and agreement? So it makes sense that he wants Imlie to acknowledge their relationship first and for both to face Malini and the family together. He was ready today to do that. So now we need to see Imlie come to the same conclusion as Aditya that Malini-Aditya cannot be happy with each other. Just like Imlie cannot see herself with anyone else, Aditya cannot see a future with Malini either. Aditya has made it clear, but Imlie needs to see it with her own two eyes. I hope this is where the current track is going. First, she might push Aditya toward Malini but eventually she should accept the truth. But knowing Aditya's patience 😆 I doubt he will be able to give Imlie much time to come to the realization or let her push him toward Malini.

The dining table scene between Adi-Imlie and Adi-Malini showed the clear contrast in both the relationships. While Aditya and Imlie were taunting each other, there was an undercurrent of care, affection, and just plain banter between them. It was enjoyable to watch. While in Adi-Malini scene, there was passive-aggressiveness from Malini's side and tension, not the right kind, between them. It was dreadful to watch. I am surprising myself by saying this but I really missed Anu today at the dining table while Adi-Imlie were bantering. The Tripatis/Malini did not even blink when Imlie referred to Aditya as sheri langoor. Their banter, while as audience we are used to seeing it, the Tripatis are not. If Anu was there, she would have caught on to the undercurrent correctly. She would have known a lot more happened in PD than villagers just forcing Imlie to go with Aditya. She would have rightly pointed that out to Malini. The Tripatis on the other hand just moved on from the banter as if this is how Aditya-Imlie talk daily in front of the whole family. 😆And Malini thought their argument was cute. Yes, we really needed Anu there to point out the obvious. 😛

But it was so nice to see Adi-Imlie recalling their first PD meeting like this, without the forced marriage part. There were so many beautiful moments between them in the first PD trip but it has always been overshadowed by the memory of the forced marriage. Now that Aditya has accepted the marriage, they are reminiscing in their own way their initial interactions. Again kudos to the writers for showing this to us. 👏

So the whole getting caught with sindoor was no big deal. Though I found Malini giving the sindoor bottle to Imlie just because she used it for some ritual very weird. It is like Imlie touched it, so she no longer wanted it. Is this how she is going to give Aditya away to Imlie too? One can only hope. 😆

Am I the only one who felt that the back and forth with Aditya and his two wives was funny? In front of his whole family, both of them with his sindoor in their maang? Both of them talking about the same college....

I mean the scene/ dialogues/ what ensued was all good. But I found the situation hilarious.

Adi is testing Imlie with Saam Daam Dhand Bhed🤣. One day his patience is going to break.😆 And old Adi will be back. God I cant digest this BS.

One last bit before I end the day on here, Aditya at his core is an unapologetic man where his beliefs and principles are concerned. Imlie annoyed him today with her Malini didi’s college bit. He had decided on not that college for a reason. By not even entertaining his wish Imlie turned into the Ts for a bit there. Aditya is not going to be silent; it is not in his nature to be silent. Kisi pe toh barsega. If not Malini, Imlie khud sunegi uski daant. She is not resolving anything by trying to be sacrificial

I liked the first scene today so I'm going make a brief comment on that.

It seemed like a reiteration of their separation scene from PD when Adi told her she doesn't need a husband or father's name and promised her that he'll be there for her whenever she asks. :) You know, I love these partnership/jeevansathi dialogues from Adi. He said the same thing to Prakash at the bus stop, that he will always be Imlie's jeevansathi and didn't say 'pati'. I like how he always evokes this term 'partner' instead of husband. It shows how evolved his thoughts are regarding marriage when he stresses on partnership rather than any labels of husband/wife. The dialogues are written to show that he never wants to cage her in a relationship, rather he wants to give her the freedom to decide at what point she wants to stake her claim on him. While he waits for her decision, he wants to do everything for her as a partner and right now his most important priority is her education. It is a beautiful depiction of his dialogue, "Agar saathi sahi ho, toh rishta pankh ban jaata hai." Imlie set him free when she left for PD and today he's returning that favour. Both of them never tried to cage the other in a relationship. It also shows that he thinks that their relationship is above and beyond any husband/wife label. He's giving her that reassurance that she can always depend on him as a partner, to share in life's joys and pain because he knows she is never going to come forward ask that herself. He's also slowly making up for the fact that he's neglected her for so long. She's had to hide her pain from the world all this while and had no one to confide in. I think he is using this sindoor gesture to tell her that you can confide in me, you don't have to put up a brave front in front of me, you can cry on my shoulder. All these subtleties just makes me love them even more. Their relationship is just so so beautiful.❤️

On the precap, does anyone think that Malini Didi's "Imlie came second, someone else can take her interview" is a loaded question? It seems to me like Didi is complaining to Adi why he is prioritising Imlie first and Didi second.😆

Btw just a random aside, but I liked Nidhi Bhabhi's comment in that lights out episode when she told Malini that she should have come the next morning cuz ussko garmi lagegi.😆 Subtle taunt laga mujhe.😛

I agree with everyone who thinks that Malini gave away the sindoor ka QM to Imlie because it has been tainted now for herself. It's like abhi Imlie ne use kar liya so I won't use it myself. Use hi de deti hu. Her elitist privileged upbringing comes forward through such scenes.

Lol @ Aparna requesting Malini to help set up the table for breakfast. Matlab itni dehshat hai Didi ke moodiness ki that her saas is also wary of saying anything that would set her off🤣. Earlier only Adi used to live in the fear of Didi's moodiness but now all the family members are also living in the same fear😆.

Didi started her drama once again by bringing out their private husband wife argument in front of the family. It was like she deliberately brought it in front of others because she knew others will side with her & Adi will have to succumb & accept her decision. Apni baat manvane ke liye family ke through Adi ko majboor kar diya, otherwise the choice of college discussion was happening between Imlie & the family but jaise hi DC ne use opportunity di usney jhat se uspe capitalise kar liya to get her own way.

Malini Didi will be using this tactic frequently now because she knows that Adi is barely listening to her now & will not agree with her as he used to do before. So family will also get to see more of their arguments on daily basis.

I cannot explain why she has suddenly developed amnesia with regards to Adi-Imlie having an affair🤔. Didi ka logic Didi hi jaane😆.
