The thing about Adi-Imlie is that they create a sense of intimacy through their body language even while standing apart. Nowadays, they may stand a little closer, lean into each other more but the sense of intimacy was there even before they did that.

What they share is raw and earthy in many ways....but I personally don't like to dwell on each look, breath and hand placement cuz I think that sort of takes away from the overall essence and reduces them to a typical LLHH couple where people drool over eyelocks and heavy breathing.

They are so much more and frankly a mature depiction of chemistry beyond caricatures.....Their chemistry is effective because it's a mix of various factors and two actors superbly navigating a range of emotions so naturally together.

I think the cheek touch is their signature.... I love it when he does that almost as if he is savoring the preciousness that is her and also let her be the bachi for once. She always try to be so strong not letting her inner feelings come out. it has only come out in front of Aditya when he has riled her. So she doing it in such shant way as if its the most natural thing to do was a sight to behold. So true that he understood that something is troubling her and goes with the saying that "telling with speaking, speaking without understanding"....

That cheek touch is oh so aww. As you said it let's her be the bachi that she is while he can savor the preciousness too. It is always so gentle so in the moment when he thinks ke baaton se nahi she is feeling comfortable and needs thoda aur toh he he cups her face or thapkoes it almost in a get in with it kiddo way.. though I am not sure if this sounds absolutly right given their twisted equation but as I always say and we have previously discussed they play so many roles to each other in the one rishta they have it is hard to say it sometimes in the absolute right context haha

Thank you for saying so beautifully what I was trying to say...the thing is their chemistry is way more then looks and touches and all it has been there all along and not something new.. yes they are in a new phase now so woh taal Mel might be more noticeable now but it always existed even when he was Mean to her they always had a solid connect and one could see the chemistry in that.. mere liye that connect is more important and is what makes or breaks chemistry.. agar sirf chemistry ho and connect nahi toh what is the point and I have seen those couples too.. sief chemistry se kuch nahi hota jab tak actors can't make this taal Mel work or writing and the rest of the team supports them..adi imlie are rare in that sense that they don't even need woh typical kind of scenes to show that chemistry and connect and woh works for me personally much more... and the depth of their talks then how intimate they were physically.. mere liye woh baaton main jo.intimacy hai na uski value is much higher .. and woh mujhe zyada chute Hain.. everything else is secondary

Isi liye baatein yaad bhi rehti hain mujhe and not what and how the touch happened or look happened

@bold: Ditto.....and I'd add ki it's the unexpected things even in the middle of a "close" moment that end up making their chemistry/bonding jo bhi bolna hai more interesting....like kal ka dekh lo...lol Adi was leaning into her while holding her hand but all he was doing was just smiling while watching her and patting her hand😆.....kisi angle se there wasn't any real "romance" happening in that scene....just a few warm glances, a few smiles and a little awkwardness....and somehow that just made them all the more raw/natural, no? Jaise ki kuch banaavti karne ki koshish hi nahin ki to "dress up" the moment😆.....isliye it endeared.

I do feel their best scenes are ones that manage that combination of intensity both in the conversations as well as their expressions.....that is what combines for a natural connect each time.

On a slightly different note, all these arguments I read about Adi "teenager" kyun ban gaya hai always wanting to hang around Imlie, looking for excuses to spend time with her😆....to that I ask, should there be no difference between how the man was in his other "relationship" v/s how he is when he's fallen in love for real for the first time? Jis insaan ne woh emotions kabhi experience hi na kiye ho pehle, usse phir bhi yeh expectation hai ki jaise woh Malini ke saath hi/hello....aap theek hain, hum theek hain....hum ek jaisa sochte hain, ok bye.....yeh sab karke nipta de? 😆. When he's never felt like doing this with anyone else before, why won't he express it now as he's feeling it.....Imlie is that precious treasure to him that he feels he's taken too long to start valuing. So why won't he try his utmost to value her now? Uske liye bhi mahurat dhund ke logon ki permission le?😆....He's spent a lifetime measuring and calculating how much emotion he should express in any situation or relationship....the very fact that he DOESN'T do that with Imlie is what's beautiful to watch unfolding right now.

No denying he is being reckless in many ways but I respect the basic honesty of his emotions....it's refreshing to see that in a character rather than doing usual chochlebaazi type games.

Satyavachan😆......even his bachpane waali harkatein have a maasoomiyat to them, koi cringe zone mein nahin hai.....phir bhi itni tohmatein😆.

It's a love so pure that he's discovered, it's literally unlocked emotions he never felt before but uski simple/innocent beauty ko appreciate karne ki bajaaye, usko ajeeb twists dene hain.....yeh toh wohi baat ho gayi ki jo pyar tumhaari preconceived notions mein fit na baithe, use galat bol do 😆
